Part 9

The next day, Yolanda, Grace and Courtney were eating koko krunch in the dining room, That morning Grace looked very uninspired and very sleepy because she didn't get enough sleep due to being terrorized by an evil spirit in her house. Grace seemed to yawn a few times, then Jett came up and kissed Grace and Courtney's forehead. Then Jett sat down next to Courtney.

“ Where's dad? Why don't he have breakfast with us? ” Jett asked Yolanda.

“ Dad's not feeling well, Jett, he's sleeping in the room ” Yolanda answered Jett's question.

“ Oh, if he keeps getting sick just take him to the clinic ” Jett said while Yolanda just nodded her head.

“ And what about you, Grace? Why is your face so pale? Not healthy too? ” this time Jett asked his eldest daughter as well, seeing her pale face.

“ No. Dad, this house has a ghost, dad! ” Grace tells Jett about the house they're in right now. But Jett didn't seem to be serving Grace.

“ Come on Grace, I don't want to hear you talk about ghosts and don't believe what people say, it's not true! There's no way this house has a ghost! ” Jett said firmly and still didn't want to believe it.

“ It's up to you to believe it or not, dad, I'm not lying! I experienced it myself last night! ” Grace said and was a little disheartened that her dad didn't believe her.

“ It's true dad! I saw the ghost myself, its face was so scary, I was scared! ” Courtney agreed with Grace's words, thinking about the ghost terrorizing the house made her shiver and shudder at the thought of that ugly ghost's face.

“ That's enough, eat! Don't talk about ghosts all the time, I'm scared you know! ” Yolanda said.

It's now 12:00 noon, meaning it's lunch time for the students at Grace's school, now it looks like Grace and Eadred are enjoying ice cream in the canteen. They both seem to be talking about something.

“ Eadred, you're right, that house does have a ghost ” Grace talks about her house to Eadred.

“ Then you and your family have to get out of that house quickly, it's dangerous for all of you to stay in that house ” Eadred said.

“ Well that's the problem, it's complicated! My dad still can't believe all of this, so it's useless if us to tell him about that house ” Grace said that she looked a bit stressed and worried when she thought about the ghost in that house.

“ It is also difficult to make your dad believe in all this ” Eadred said, as if thinking something.

In the afternoon, when it looks like Grace has just finished preparing her schoolwork, she was alone in her class because everyone had gone home. Grace grabbed her bag and she was about to leave her class but suddenly the classroom door closed tightly. Grace wondered why the door suddenly closed when no one or the wind pushed it. Grace felt something under the back table, Grace went over to the table to see what it was, suddenly...HOAAAAAAMMMM!! A ghost with very long hair appears, Grace was very shocked and screamed but she almost fell but luckily she was had time to cling to the table. The ghost suddenly disappeared, Grace ventured to look at it again but the ghost appeared again. Without wasting time Grace immediately ran towards the door that was tightly closed but luckily the door was successfully opened and Grace walked out of the classroom, she kept going to the place where the bike was and went straight home without stopping anywhere first.

It was now 9:30 pm, Jett was currently climbing the stairs to his room with his eyes looking down, careful not to fall down the stairs. Suddenly Jett saw someone's dirty footprints like he was climbing the stairs too, Jett found it strange to see it but suddenly the footprints were gone. Jett looked up, a ghost appeared and looked at Jett with a very scary look with a very ugly face. The ghost's head and body were in an inverted position, Jett, who was shocked to see the ghost, screamed and he fell down the stairs.

“ How come dad can fall down the stairs, sis? ” Courtney asked, Courtney and Grace was is in the dining room right now, they just daydream thinking about their dad. There were only the two of them and no one else because Yolanda and Alfred were accompanying Jett who was admitted to the hospital. Jett is found unconscious by Yolanda.

“ I don't know, maybe dad wasn't careful. Wait a minute, I want to call mom first ” Grace reached into her trouser pocket for her cell phone. Meanwhile outside her house also looks like it's raining heavily, Grace dialed Yolanda's number and not long after that the call was answered.

“ Hello, Grace? ” Yolanda answered Grace's call.

“ Hello mom, how is dad's condition now? ” Grace asked.

“ Your dad's still unconscious, Grace, his left arm is broken! Grandpa and I want to wait for your dad to conscious first. Are you both are okay staying at home? ” Yolanda said.

“ We're okay, Mom, come home soon, okay? Because it's just the two of us here and Annabelle still hasn't come! ” Grace said she was a little worried about living alone with her little sister in the haunted house.

“ Alright sweetie, I'll be home soon ” Yolanda answered.

At the hospital, Yolanda had just finished talking to Grace on the phone outside the ward, Alfred suddenly appeared from inside the ward and approached Yolanda.

“ Yolanda, Jett was conscious now! Come on in quickly! ” Alfred said. Hearing that, Yolanda rushed into the ward and approached Jett who was lying on the patient bed.

“ Jett! ” Yolanda sat next to Jett, she was very worried about her husband's condition. Jett's left hand was bandaged.

“ Dad, Yolanda! It turns out that what Grace and Courtney said about our house was all true, the house has a ghost! I saw the ghost myself! ” Jett admits the truth his children told about the house they live in now to Alfred and Yolanda.

“ Yes I already know, Jett ” Alfred answered.

“ I'm sorry for not trusting all of you all this time, I think you guys are just hallucinating or making up about the ghost, I didn't know it was all true ” Jett felt guilty for not believing what they said about the house.

“ It's okay Jett, the important thing is that you know and believe now, right? ” Yolanda answered.

“ The kids? Where are the kids? ” Jett inquires about Grace and Courtney's whereabouts realizing they are not there.

“ The kids are at home, Jett ” Yolanda answered Jett's question, Jett was immediately worried listening to Yolanda's answer. He was afraid that something would happen to his children who were living alone in the house.

“ You have to go home now, look at the kids! They might be in danger! ” Jett said.

“ All right, I'm going home now. Dad, you wait here, please take care of Jett, okay? ” Yolanda said while ordering Alfred.

“ Alright kiddo, be careful on the road ” Alfred answered.
