Noah didn't know what was taking Marcus so long to get to the office, he kept on swinging the chair he sat on round and round. He seems to be enjoying the fun he got in swinging the chair. But he finally got bored and stood up. He could have just left the key with the guard downstairs, he thought as he paced around the office with his hands at akimbo on his waist. He decided to follow his thought as he locked the office door behind him, He searched for his car keys but he had left them inside the office. He opened the door so he could get them before leaving, he tried calling Marcus but it wasn't reachable. He felt frustrated as he strode down to the existing. He wasn't yet close to the existing as he noticed a familiar figure all crumbled on the floor, he ran a bit closer to catch a real glimpse. His thoughts we're right! It was Jane on the floor. Noah didn't understand how she gets to put him in a tight corner. He laughed as he scratches the back of his head, what was funnier about everything was that he never felt a burden. Meanwhile, he felt it was his responsibility to be there for her. He didn't know why his heart where so kin to help her always. He looked in the direction where Marcus stood, he could notice the rage in Marcus' eyes. He guesses she must have acted dumb again, he stared at them one last time before striding toward them. He noticed Marcus had brought out his handset, he didn't need to waste any more time. He knew what Marcus, next action was going to be. ”Marcus, Marcus." he called tapping Marcus on his shoulders. ”I have been waiting for you in the office, I got tired and lonely So I decided to come to get you!” Noah taunted. Marcus dropped his phone inside his back pocket as he strides closer to Noah. ”The keys?” Marcus stretched his hands to get the keys. ”Can I have them?” Marcus asked again. ”Sure, here you go.” Noah said handing the keys to Marcus. Immediately Marcus left for his office Noah turned to face Jane as he was very speechless and confused about what to tell her right now. ”Miss Jane Brown?” he yelled calmly. ”Yes, sir?” She said looking into his eyes. He was about to stretch out his hands to help her up, but with strained sharply. ”Do you feel happy when you put me in tight corners?” Noah asked. Jane felt a bit of confusion flood her head, ”I don't get your point, sir? But I am so so sorry if I get to put you in a tight nook,” she apologizes sharply. ”You can leave,” Naoh said. Jane stood up and left as she remembered the beautiful portrait that had gotten broken by her. She imagined how much money it most have caused. She couldn't wait to share her story with Mary as she ran to the camp. ******* Marcus came back and noticed Jane had left, he felt angry about it! He felt she had gone against him and she was going to pay. Marcus approached the guard at the existing post. ”Did you notice any tattered, dirty, and messy lady pass-through this door?” he asked. ”No sir?” He answered. He was going to ask Noah when he gets home. And he hoped he had a convincing and persuasive reason why she left without his permission. The next morning, the bell was heard in the dormitory, Jane woke up with a strong headache and body pain. She felt her body go weak. She felt so much cold but her temperature was very hot and heated. ”Are you okay?” Mary asked. ”I guess it stress, but some few rest when I am back would do.” Jane mumbled. ”You should check the sickbay?” Mary suggested. ”Sure?” Jane nodded. Jane headed to the sickbay direction, but unluckily it was locked. She decided to still go to work, not to anger Noah on her first day. She knew she was very late since the sun shined brightly already. She could feel her legs go heavy and her eyes felt much heaviness in them. She finally reached the office and found the guard waiting for her, ”you are late?” The guard asked. ”I a....mm s.o sorry,” Jane uttered. She maintained balance as she felt she was going to faint from dizziness. ”Are you okay?” The guard asked again. ”Yes, I am fine.” she replied. She felt relieved as they reached the hidden and isolated mansion on the outskirts of the camp. Jane was already burning up and was already sweaty when they got to the mansion. ”Follow me,” the guard instructed. Jane felt she was dying. her next step we're counted, she felt like she was going to give up soon. Noah stood outside his backyards as he watered the plant around, he loved to plant and didn't want anything harming them. It was 8; 00 Am and Jane wasn't here? He felt bothered for some reason he didn't want to admit. Marcus had left for a business transaction this morning, he was left alone at home. He decided to take a shower, he believed Jane was fine. Even if she wasn't showing up today, he didn't know why but he was fine with it. He let the hot water from the shower wash off everything troubling him at that very moment. He was finally done showering. he took the extra towel to dry his hair but there was a knock on his door. He raised his head from what he was doing. He was expecting someone to talk, but no one did. ”Marcus is that you?” Noah asked. ”I’m sorry sir for disturbing right now.” one of the guards said, Noah was already getting angry at the disturbance the guard was causing this morning but felt calm when he heard what he wanted to say. ”But your guest, the lady from camp is here?” the guard said. Noah felt delighted, he smiled so hard that Someone would think he had won a lottery. ”You can leave,” Noah ordered. he immediately opened the door of his room. He went downstairs without putting on his clothes yet to order her to clean the house sparkling clean and tidy, even if it was cleaned up. He met her standing on her feet, she looked very pale and sweaty. ”Are you sick or something?” Noah asked. ”No, no. I am fine,” she said. Noah felt she was going to fall at any moment at the rate she was going. ”Maybe you should drink some water?” He left for the kitchen to get her some table water, he approached her and gave her the water. He was about to order her on what to perform. her bottle of water hit the ground, Noah turned and snagged her before she hit the ground. He felt the hotness of her temperature against his bare skin. He felt frustrated and frightened at the way she looked. He yelled at the guard's names. As the guard came running towards him. ”Get the doctor,” he ordered. He clasped Jane and took her upstairs to his bedroom.
