Blake POV   Celine is becoming so cold to me as the days goes by and today as much as I want to stay at home with her, she told me that I better just go to office and work because the more I assist and take good care of her it made her feel useless. So with a heavy heart I just went to my office and tried my best to focus with my work and pile of contracts that I need to read and sign. “Why are you here?” Bradley asked when he saw me working at my office table. “Maybe you forgot to notify me that I’m already fired from this company, so I came now to work but seems like you’re not being happy to see your brother here.” I said jokingly. “I mean, why do you need to come and work here if you have to stay with your wife at this moment?” He asked seriously. “She doesn’t even want to see my face around the house, that’s why I was forced to go here and do my work.” I said that made him laugh so hard. “Trouble in paradise?” He asked as he sit on the chair facing my desk. “I don’t know. She became so cold towards me since that incident and she easily gets annoyed in every little thing that I do. It’s really hard to read her mind.” I said surrendered. “Brother you need to make her feel that she’s your whole world to win her back. Why don’t you open up to our family about the secret wedding that you both had and open up to all? Make her see that you’re proud to tell the whole world about being with her as your wife.” He lecture while I’m all ears to those ideas that he’s giving me. “Yeah you’re right I should tell our parents about it and plan something that can make her appreciate our relationship just like before.” I said and think of a way on how to inform mom and dad about this secret of ours. “Just tell me if you need my help brother and I will not hesitate to help you out, if that will make both my brother and sister happy.” Bradley said as he stand and head to the door. “Thanks brother! I know that you’re the best person that I shared my secrets with.” I said before he leave my office. Once I’m alone once again, I couldn’t think of a way to tell my parents about the secret marriage that I had with the daughter that they knew. I’ll be lying if I said that I’m not feeling anxious and scared of what and how will they react about it but it is my responsibility to tell them and inform them. Before lunch time my nervousness is on its peak. I’m here now sitting at the restaurant, privately reserved by Bradley that is now sitting beside me and keep on telling me to calm down. Why did I enter this complicated situation in the first place? Now it’s like I’ll be getting my final verdict and I’m praying so hard to past all ordeals. Half an hour before lunch time, our parents came in and we all faced each other at the dining table. “What’s about this sudden meet up?” Mom asked eyeing both me and Bradley for an answer. “We just wanted to discuss something with you, mom and dad. But first let’s take our lunch first, we’re both starving.” Bradley replied. We started to eat our lunch but I couldn’t eat that well because of so nervousness. Mom get my attention and asked me if I’m alright because I’m looking pale and couldn’t eat well. So I manage to act as if I’m okay and forced myself to eat and finish the food served on my plate. After an hour of eating and sharing topics related in business my mom started to wonder again of the sudden meeting that we called for. Our dad has a puzzled look too of why the need for them to meet us at the restaurant rather than just go visit them at home and eat there all together. “Is there anything you both want to share with us?” Dad asked in a serious tone. “Blake has something to tell to both of you.” Brandley said that made me feel that I’m on hot seat. “What is it?” Mom asked a little bit worried. “Mom, Dad I just wanted to inform you both that I had a secret marriage almost two months ago. I didn’t mean to hide it for both of you that long, it’s just that my situation is complicated and my wife is pregnant that time so for me not to give her that much stress I choose to hide it first for everyone.” I started. “So you mean to say you’ll inform us now that you’re already married?” Mom asked to confirm and I just nod to her question as a response. “And you said that your wife was pregnant that time? At least we got a new grandchild.” Dad said and smiled at mom. “No dad, you don’t have an additional grandchild.” I said and couldn’t continue to explain. “You mean to say that your wife just tricked you and trapped you into a marriage?” Mom questioned in a hysterical way. “No mom, dad. Please don’t think badly about my wife. We went on a honeymoon trip after our wedding and that time we knew that she’s pregnant and we had consulted a doctor to check if she’s safe enough to travel. We got an approval and so we fly to Hawaii. But then she’s getting stressed of things and then one day I rushed her at the hospital because she bleeds and then we lost our first child.” I narrated. “Ohh God! How is she now?” Mom asked sounding hurt at what happen. “The doctor said that it’s hard for her to bear a child and that even if she conceive it’ll be needing her a full bed rest for her to carry the child safely until she reach the full term.” I inform. “I think it’s better if you both stay at the mansion for now. Just to make sure that she’ll not be left alone and someone can watch over her since she just got into miscarriage.” Dad suggested that mom instantly agrees. “I’ll ask her about that suggestion. Thank you for understanding us mom, dad.” I said feeling relieved. “That’s totally okay son, at least we’ll get the chance to have a bonding too and so that we can have a time to get to know each other. By the way, you haven’t tell us her name. What’s her name dear?” Mom asked that made me look at Bradley for a support. “She’s Celine.” I answered and thought that they’ll understand what I said. “Beautiful name, same as your sister’s name.” Mom commented. “She’s the same Celine that we all knew, the one you treated as a daughter.” I said that made both mom and dad’s eyes grow like a saucer.
