Okay, so dinner certainly didn’t go as planned. Jax and Megan were chatting away, though, and I realized this was what he really needed. It seemed like Megan really enjoyed that he had actually joined us. I just hoped she knew once we were alone, I would not keep my hands to myself. We both knew her rule didn’t really work.
“So, what are we doing tomorrow?” Jax asked. Ah, he was enjoying this way too much.
“We aren’t doing anything. I was going to take Megan with me to go see my mother,” I said. Megan looked at me, looking a bit surprised.
