“Oh,” Kat remarked.
She had been quiet for so long, I thought she wasn’t going to answer, but then she finally did. Her reaction was not what I had hoped for. At least if she had gotten mad, I could maybe have coaxed her into realizing what she truly felt, and maybe get her to pick up the phone, but no. She just uttered "oh".
“Oh?” I inquired.
“Good for him,” she replied.
I looked at my friend with a sympathetic look, and she noticed that.
“Don’t look at me like that.”
“I just... I feel like you might be ignoring something here,” I told her.
“Listen, Jax and I were just sleeping together, okay? Now we’re not. If he wants to go sleep with a lot of people, then he can go ahead. I am sleeping with Luke anyway,” she stated.
