CHAPTER 3 – Troublemakers to the Weekend - II

Leon’s POV

Now we were fighting for the vehicle, which car who are going. Aileen was not going to move from her seat, Noah and Melina was determined to travel as one, and I was not ready to leave the bike here.

“We are making a f*cking, stupid argument. No one was ready to bend on another’s decision” Aileen was pissed to the last drop. Her face turned red because of the anger bubbling inside.

“Sis, I want to go with Noah; we both can travel in the car. Leon can come with the bike,” Melina said like a baby.

“That sound cool,” Noah said.

“How about dropping him from this journey? It sounds cool to me,” she said, rolling her eyes.

“You know, Aileen, if I don’t come on this journey, then the entire journey will be stopped before it starts,” I said, raising my eyebrow.

“Are you threatening me, Leon? You know…”

“Aileen, please stop. We will have to stay here until the full weekend pass; let’s settle this quickly,” Melina cut me in the middle and said.

“I have a suggestion; how about Melina and Noah travel by bike, and we both travel in the car,” I said because I wanted to hurt her ego of Aileen. I know she never agrees to travel one step with me, but I still enjoy seeing her irritated by my behavior.

“That’s so cool, Aileen; please don’t say no to this. I would love to travel hugging Noah on the bike’s back,” Melina jumped happily.

“Are you my sister or what?” Aileen asked with her wide-open mouth. I chuckled, and she was getting annoyed more.

“Please, Aileen, the three of us agreed,” Noah said to weigh my suggestion.

“Fine, but I am doing this because I must leave quickly to see my parents. Don’t think that you won this time,” she pointed her index finger at me and threatened. I winked at her and threw the bike keys to Noah, who happily came to me.

I opened the front door of the car and sat back. Noah and Melina wore their helmets, and Noah accelerated the bike.

“Wear your seat belts, oh I am sorry, you may not be used to sitting in a front seat of a car” I know that she will say anything to get revenge for her defeat.

“Don’t underestimate this handsome hunk” I pointed my index finger to my chest. She smiles mockingly.

“Look who was saying to himself that he is handsome” She burst into a laugh and accelerated the car while looking at the rear mirror to confirm that Noah and Melina were following us. She was taking care of her sister a lot. I believe that Noah was a good mate for Melina.

“You don’t know about my female fan following, how the girls are dying to sleep with me. You should be proud and happy that I am traveling with you,” I said pleasedly.

“Oh, come on, I know how the sl*ts give themselves to you. I am not proud to wear you on my neck Leon; I am doing this for my sister” She was getting a bit rude, but later I understood that she was getting jealous when I spoke about other girls sleeping with me.

“Ok, Miss. Aileen, how many….”

“Don’t call me Miss. Aileen,” she threatened.

“Easy buddy, did I say something wrong? Or soon you will be Mrs.?” I asked with a mocking smile.

“I am not anyone’s Miss or Mrs. I am just Aileen,” she replied with a stern look.

“OK, so just Aileen….”

“What the f*ck is wrong with you? Just call me by my name. I am Aileen, Aileen Wallace,” she yelled angrily, and suddenly the steering wheel slipped from her hand because she was too furious and fuming with rage.

“Be careful, Aileen” She was about to hit on a vehicle coming in front, and I managed to turn the wheel to the other side, and thank god no one got hurt. She stopped the car by the roadside, and Noah and Melina ran toward us.

“What the f*ck has just happened?” Noah asked, peeping his head from Aileen’s side. Aileen was covering her face with her palms.

“Just nothing; suddenly she lost control and…”

“I didn’t; you were doing all these things. I told you, Melina, that this fellow will bring us much trouble for the weekend” Aileen’s face turned red because of anger.

“Aileen, calm down. Nothing happened” I kept my hand on her shoulder, and I felt a gentle spark run all over my body.

What the f*ck was that? Does she have something electricity running on her body? Before a second pass, Aileen threw my hand from her shoulder and started to yell at me.

“Don’t touch me with your filthy hands. I will tear them into pieces, so you won’t be able to touch another b*tch again,” she growled at me. Her eye color changed, and I understood that her wolf had come to the surface. I think I pissed her off too much.

“Aileen, please calm down. I don’t have the intention to touch you in the wrong way. I am sorry, because of my crazy things, you got distracted.”

“What did you say? Did you say sorry?” Noah interrupted my emotional apology, and then only I realized that I apologized to someone for the first time in my life.

Where did my Playboy ego disappear? What happened to Leon, who was not afraid of anyone and was not uttering a gentle tone to anyone?

Aileen was looking at me now; her color had changed to blue eyes. She was a bit surprised after what Noah said. I gave Noah a death glare while he moved his gaze to somewhere else to ignore my eyes.

“Now everything was fine. Aileen, please give me the wheels. I will drive” To be honest, I was laced with the scary feeling that something would happen to her because of my stupid blabbering.

“I can drive. This is not a new thing to me” She was so stubborn.

“Aileen, I have the license; I can drive. If you are unsure, let me show you” I pulled the wallet from my pocket and showed it to her.

“Keep your damn license with you, Leon; I said I can drive,” she said and started the vehicle.

“Listen, Aileen, I know you are stubborn, but if you want to hit another vehicle by hearing my blabbering, fine. Let’s go, you drive. I will keep doing the bully thing to you” I sat back in my seat and wore my seat belt. I can see in my thief’s eye that she was thinking.

“Fine, take the wheels, but not a single scratch on my baby. If you do, I will design your body with my wolf claws,” she gritted. I peeped at her face, which turned to my side. Our faces were inches away, and our gaze met.

Isn’t she beautiful? I mentally thought.

It was the first time I noticed that she had a tiny birthmark on the edge of her pointy nose. Her eyes softened, and my gaze slowly moved to her lips. Her lips parted. I pressed my lips and gulped my saliva. She had thin lips, and on her lower lip, there was a dark brown lip line. At first, I thought it was one she drew from her lip pencil, but later I realized it was a natural one added to her beauty by their moon goddess.

“Hello, then take this and drive” She snapped her fingers at my face, and I came out of my train of thought. I felt embarrassed, but I didn’t show it. I exited the car and took the wheel while Aileen settled on the other seat. Noah and Melina returned to the bike, and I turned the wheels to the road.

Aileen was looking outside the window and checking on the bike occasionally by looking behind. I concentrated on driving; I was fast but careful on the road. When I take the wheels, I am more cautious about my driving. We were about half away from the journey, and I saw Aileen fall asleep.

I don’t know why; she was different from the other girls. I have seen and slept with enough girls, but even though I didn’t touch Aileen, I feel a strong aura from her side. I didn’t do anything intentionally, but my gaze moved to her sleeping figure occasionally.

Suddenly a wild cat crosses the road, and I hit the break harder. Her head was about to switch on the dashboard, and I kept my palm on her forehead. She quickly woke up from her sleep and looked here and there.

“Aileen, are you all right?” I asked gently. She just nodded. I was amazed that she didn’t utter a word about my action.

“Just drive carefully. I didn’t get proper sleep last night; I had to look for some pack duties,” she replied and sighed.

We had our lunch on the way and reached her dad’s pack house around 2.30 p.m.

“Dad,” Aileen and Melina ran to their dad and mom.

I wish my parents were alive!

“Noah, Leon, come here,” Melina asked us to come closer.

“Dad, this is Noah. He is my mate, and this is Leon, his cousin’s brother. We three are in the same class in the high school, and I invited them to join us” I saw Aileen was quiet without saying anything to her parents.

“Good to see you, gentlemen,” her dad shook hands with us.

“Pleasure to meet you, sir,” I replied, smiling at him. I was about to speak to her mom, but a male figure suddenly emerged behind me.

A young man about 25 or 26 with a well-built muscular body and about the same as my height stood next to Aileen’s dad. Aileen narrowed her forehead, and I knew this was a guest whom even Aileen didn’t know.

“Dad, who is this?” Melina asked.

“Ah, meet Liam, the Alpha’s son from Moon Crescent pack and soon to be the Alpha of the pack,” her dad introduced him proudly.

“Pleasure to meet you all, especially you, Aileen” he walked closer to Aileen, took her arm, and kissed the back of her palm.

An unexplainable something started to bother me inside. My jaw clenched, and I was looking for Aileen’s reaction. She quickly pulled her arm and looked at me.

“Dad, why do we have a guest?” Aileen asked.

“Guest? Oh, my dear. He is soon going to be your future husband!”
