Unfortunately, there isn't a way out from this trap, I groaned as I have already grown tired of searching for my way out, I sat down on a rock that I found close to the wall, blaming myself for this predicament. If I had listened to Anna and Christine this won't happen. When will I stop letting my anger and obsession take over me, now I'm stocked here with no way out, although I was held hostage before this, but still I lived peacefully and ate whenever and whatever I like. Such privilege is not given here. I thought and placed my head on the wall behind me, "creak" I flinched as I heard a loud noise coming behind me, I sprang up from the rock without looking back and attempted to run away. "No, why am I running? Don't be a coward, Jasmine. At least find out what you're running away from" I told myself as I calmed my nerves. Slowly I turned back and saw nothing, "incredible " I uttered with wide eyes and moved back to the rock, but was astonished to see a half open stone door, "what's this.. how did it get here? If I can recall clearly there is no door here beforehand" I muttered checking out the stone door. I stepped inside carefully looking around the whole place, suddenly I saw light from a distance which was not shining brightly. I followed the direction of the light and fastened my pace. The faster I walk the more it seems like I won't be able to get in my direction. I rubbed my waist which was already aching me and continued walking. I was happy with my decisiveness, shortly I was already at the place where the sunlight was coming from. It was a small hole, I sighed. Cursing inwardly for wasting my effort, "if I had known that this would be it, I won't even bother walking such a long distance" I mumbled, almost breaking down. I used all my energy to find the source of the sudden sunlight but got heartbreak at the end. I stomped my feet angrily "argh" I winced in pain, I've clearly forgotten about my injury, why am I so stupid? No, it's not me it's this... This... I thought looking at the floor for something that I could vent my anger on, "perfect!" I picked up a stone that was sitting next to my feet and threw it carelessly, I heaved a sigh of relief and sat down on the floor massaging my sore feet, I just wish that someone would save me from this predicament, I'm tired and in so much pain, "you deceived me into using up my energy, now I'm tired" I scoffed, berating the tiny hole. I creased my brow as I found out that there is now a big difference in the hole, it got bigger. How did it happen? I got up immediately trying to put two things together, "could it be that I didn't see it clearly before?" I massaged my temple as I had already developed a splitting headache because of this. While looking around the place my gaze abruptly locked with something, I gasped, "stairs" my jaw dropped.
"There are many hidden things in this cave, it might be a trap" I uttered and break my gaze from the stairs, trying to cut off the urge of climbing the stairs to see what's behind the hole, "fine! I'll take a peek and come back. I promise, I won't sneak a peek ever again" I hissed and stormed towards the stairs as I was not able to break the urge. Reaching the final step, I positioned my body and take a peek through the hole that brought the sunlight, "oh my God! This is it! I made it, I finally find the route that would lead me out of here" I asserted happily. Who would have thought that the sunlight was coming out from the Island, finally I can leave here, I beamed thinking of a way to make the hole bigger so that it'd contain my body. I placed my hands into the hole and pulled it with all my strength.
"Argh!" I winced and landed my ass on the floor, I creased my brow in pain, my eyes widened suddenly the moment I saw the large hole I have created, I got up from the floor hurriedly ignoring the pain I was going through, I climb up the stairs and finally I can now see the whole place, I smiled with a drip of tears falling down my cheeks.
"Where are you? Demeter!"
"Jasmine where are you? We're here to save you" I heard many voices shouting my name from a distance, "the king, he is also here" the smile on my face froze. I hurriedly climbed out through the hole without thinking of where I would land, I just wanted to escape and go back home, I can't let him catch me and keep me as a hostage again. "Bang" my body landed on the hard floor that paralyzed me, I can't even stand. What did I expect, falling from such a high dimension, I should have been desd by now? Luckily, I was still alive, and that only have one meaning, "do your best and escape. No matter if it cost your life" I gritted my teeth and forcefully dragged my body on the floor, "this is the only way out. If the king catches up with me, then there won't be chances like this in the future" I grunt and continued to drag myself. Suddenly, I felt a gust of wind, the type that pierces the skin and send shivers down the spine. The only person that has this aura is the king, no! I won't let him see me, I fall into panic as I was afraid of going back to that castle that I had no idea where it is located. I looked back and saw the king coming at me with his blue eyes growing darker and flickering with stripes of fire, I shuddered and attempted to take another step, he just appeared adamantly in front of me with a smirk he squatted and raised my jaw.
