Kent

***4 years later***

Everything is going well with the business but still there is a major problem that we haven't solved for 4 years now but still we haven't found a single clue about drew.

Looking out of the window of the tallest building in Italy, everything looked quiet but few know the danger that is lurking around on the streets.

“ Kenny,” I heard the high pitched voice that I would recognise even in my funeral. Opening the door of my office she walked in. Gulping the rest of the scotch I turned around.

“ What are you doing here?” I asked in a cold tone. She stopped in her tracks and looked at me, fear was evident in her eyes. But masking her feelings she continued to walk towards me.

“ I missed you,” she said, walking around the table and coming in front of me.

“ I have work to do, Amanda. Get out,” I said.

“ Daddy asked me about the engagement ceremony and he told me to go with you to pick a ring,” she said, reminding me of the topic that I don't wanna be a part of.

She is the daughter of David Marco the wealthiest man in America and also a known figure in the underworld.

It was a deal that had happened 5 years ago that I had to marry his daughter in exchange he would give me access to his transportation. I agreed to his condition and said yes. That was a decision I regret.

“ You know what, you can call daddy and tell him the date after…. She paused, getting off from the table to sit on my lap. One of her hands snaked around my neck as she used the other one to draw a circle on my chest. She leaned a little closer to show off her bre*st.

“ I help you to release your steam. You have been working too hard on your hotel projects,” she said as her hand travelled down on the South. When she found what she was looking for she gave it a little squeeze.

She leaned towards my mouth, as her hand worked in rhythm on my c**k. She leaned a little more kissing me on my lips as she took my hand and placed it on her breast. I let her do whatever she wanted because I was frustrated and I needed to let off my steam.

“ Capo,” there's a knock on the other side of the door.

“ Leave,” I said in a harsh tone.

“ They can wait while we do our things,” she said, trying to open the button of my shirt.

“ Leave, don't make me repeat my words or else be ready to face the consequences,” I said.

“ I am sorry, capo,” she said as she stood up and bowed her head down.

“ Don't come here, unless you have any important things,” I said. She nodded her head before leaving the office.

I saw Matt was looking at her back, raising an eyebrow. He was standing on the doorway.

“ Come in,” I said and he immediately looked at me. His expression changed from curious to a serious one.

“ You need to come with me,” he said.

“ Where?”

“ Look,” saying as he extended the tablet that was in his hands. As I was taking the device from his hand my gaze fell on the bracelet Lily gave him. Taking the device from his hand I looked away, there's no need to dwell on the past when she is nomore, I thought and played the video.

I witnessed the horrific scenario that had been happening in my club at my hotel. In the video there were a bunch of teenagers who were given drugs before a group of people taking them to a minivan.

“ F*ck, how long has it been happening?” I asked Matt. Even if I am ruling the underworld, my ancestors made sure to never do human trafficking. If found out they will be killed on spot. I couldn't see their faces but from their body they looked like they had been doing this for a long time.

“ I don't know, capo. Probably from a very long time,” he answered.

“ How did you get this video?” I asked.

“ A girl sent it to Mason and he sent it to me,” he said.

“ A girl?” I asked. The Surprise was evident in my voice. She has courage, I thought.

“ Whoever recorded this video, she sure is brave,” Matt said.

The incident is happening in one of my hotels , Lá Plaza. The hotel resides a bit far from here but the location is beautiful and perfect for tourists.

“ We are leaving now,” I said and he nodded.

“ You don't need to inform anyone,” I said. I didn't want to give them the information of my arrival or they might leave.

I got up from my chair and left followed by Matt. On our way he called a car and a few of our men to dress like normal people. He told them where we are going and probably what is going to happen.

Reaching outside, I saw they were all ready. Looking at the cars I smirked, Matt called all our elite fighters.

Getting in the car I leaned my head back closing my eyes. After giving out instructions to our men who will be staying here Matt followed me in. The engine hit the road and after an hour or so my phone started to ring.

Opening my eyes I looked at the caller and it was David. I picked up the call and put it on my ear.

“ Hello, capo,” he said.

“ What is it?” I asked straight away, knowing why he was calling me.

“ Well, I wanted to know, may we have a meeting tomorrow?” He asked, and I could tell he was scared and nervous.

“ I will be away for now. Matt will contact you after I return,” I said before hanging up the call. Matt sighed as he worked on his tablet.

“ Any news?” I asked, looking out of the window as the car passed the trees way too fast.

“ Well, I sent my men but they couldn't find him. But one of the locals said that he saw him a week ago lurking outside of the hospital,” he informed. I clenched my fist in a ball and gritted my teeth.

“ It's like he became Ghost,” he added and went on with his work.

I leaned back, closing my eyes again. There is no way he just vanished into thin air. I will find him and give him what he deserves even if I have to dig the earth, I thought.

Lily

I woke up 2 hours early this morning because of some VIP guest who is going to stay here. And now we all are standing in a row for 20 minutes now.

Rolling my eyes inwardly I sighed, I have an exam today and I can't be late. After this exam, everything is going to change. I will move away to bora bora where I don't have to worry about that incident and no one from my past will haunt me.

“ I will be late,” I whispered to ben. He is one of my best friends and the person who helped me when I had nowhere to go.

Benjamin and his mom found me and took me to their home. They were kind enough to let me stay at their place without a rent for a long time. But I moved out when I was earning enough to support myself. Ben, his mom and Mia were the only people who knew what happened to me in Toronto. I sighed, shaking my head. I shouldn't be thinking about that right now.

“ No one is allowed to take leave this month, no excuses will be pardoned,” our manager mason informed us.

“ What?” I said in disbelief.

No no no!!! This can't be happening right now. I have my final exam tomorrow.

“ Sir, but….

“ I don't want to hear whatever you have to say, Lilian,” he said.

“ Hey,” I nudged Ben.

“ hmmm.”

“ Do you know who this VIP guest might be?” I asked in a hushed voice.

he shrugged before he took my hand and dragged me outside.

“ Where are you taking me?” I asked.

“ You are getting late for your exam,” he said, releasing my hand.

“ But-

“ No but, you are going, that's it. And your ride has already arrived,” he said.

He is wealthy enough to buy this hotel but he just has to work part time here with me. He is the CEO of the JS group and no one knows his secret. I know he wants to protect me after knowing my whole story but I wouldn't want to have him as my guard and besides he has his own company to look after, But still I appreciate his concern.

“ Hey, Ben,” Jessica said as she walked towards us. She is a front desk girl and has been crushing on him since we have been working here. She has never been nice to me. Rolling my eyes I turned my head to ben.

“ Thank you Ben,” I said.

“ I have something to tell you after you finish your exams,” he said and I saw his eyes lit up.

“ Can't you say it now?” I asked.

“ No, have patience, princess,” he said as he placed his hand on my cheek.

“ Bye,” I said, before I walked to the car. I didn't look back at Jessica, because I knew she had been throwing daggers at me with her eyes.

" did you propose to her or something? Is she your girlfriend?" I heard Jessica ask Ben. Rolling my eyes I shook my head. pathetic, I thought opening the door of the car.

I reached the exam hall at the time and all thanks to ben. It took me one and half an hour to finish my paper, it was an easy one. Handing over the paper to the professor, I went out knowing Mia was waiting for me outside.

“ So, are we going tonight?” She asked.

“ No, I am sorry I can't. I am under lots of pressure right now. There's a VIP guest coming tonight and our manager instructed us not to take a leave,” I said, as we walked out of the gate.

“ It's okay, we will hang out after we move to bora bora,” she said. I smiled at her. I don't know what I would have done if Ben and Mia weren't there in the tough face of my life.

Mia’s father is insanely rich but that didn't spoil her. She wants to come with me and start her own business.

“ Are you going to the hotel or your apartment?” She asked.

“ Hotel probably. I don't have much time,” I said as I looked at my wrist watch.

“ Okay,”

“ Come here,” Mia said, pulling me in a tight hug.

“ Woah.”

“ I hope you get all the success you are working so hard for,” she said, her voice breaking at the end.

Knowing she is sad for some reason I didn't ask her anything.

“ I should be going then,” i said.

“ Bye,” she said.

“ I can't wait for tomorrow,” she said excitedly.

I smiled, turning around and just as I was about to go to the car Ben sent for me, I stopped at my tracks looking at a particular car. I saw a very familiar person. He was looking breathtaking in a tailored black suit and his face was chiselled. He looked nothing but a Greek god or even better. He was talking on the phone when his gaze found me.

“ Miss,” Parker said, holding the door open.

“ Let's go,” I said and walked to the car before getting in. I didn't know why but my heart was pounding like a drum inside of my rib cage. I have seen him but where? I asked myself all the way to the hotel.
