Chapter 4- Eternal Bliss

I looked deep into the eyes of my mate. All of a sudden, I felt at home. I felt complete and total peace. I could never need or want anything more. The overwhelming sensation sent wave after wave of chills through my body. It was like we were magnets and the energy was pulling us closer and closer together. 

I felt myself being wrapped up in Luca’s arms. As he gently grabbed on to my hips, electricity shot through my body. I felt sparks move throughout my soul. I knew from this moment that this man, this beautiful perfect man was my entire being. He became my everything in just one quick moment. I was his and he was mine. 

He leaned in and kissed me. As he pressed his beautiful, full lips against mine,the fireworks exploded as the warm tingling ran all over my body. He gently opened his mouth and brushed my lips with his tongue. I wanted him. I wanted to taste him, all of him. I wanted every part of my body touched by those heavenly lips. My hands moved to his firm chest and I could feel the ripples of his divine body under my hands. I wanted to kiss every part of this beautiful man. The true definition of a man of wax stood before me and he was mine.  At this moment, I knew I would fight for this man. I would kill for this man. I would give my life for this man. I never wanted him to experience pain or hurt. I never wanted him to be ridiculed or shamed. I would protect him with whatever means necessary. 

Suddenly, our embrace was interrupted by a loud cough. I pulled away from Luca, as much as it pained me to do so and looked over to see Alex standing beside us. Oh, God! What was he going to say? How would he feel about his best friend and Beta being my mate? Would he be angry? Luca seemed to be pulled out of his romantic haze as well. 

“So, I see you two are getting to know each other better…” Alex scoffed. 

“Well, yeah, you see, Alex, I am so sorry man. I didn’t know for sure she was mine and….” Luca tried his best to explain. I could see his nerves were beginning to take over. I mean, they had been best friends forever.  Alex was to be his Alpha, his king. I hoped he wouldn’t be too terribly angry seeing as how he ultimately had control. He was kind but I certainly did not want to anger him. 

“Luca, stop.” Alex commanded. “You don’t need to explain. I have known you two would end up together for years. I have seen the way you look at her and the way she looks at you. I knew this was coming. I was just waiting to see if it was true. You can’t help who the moon goddess has destined for you. It just is. I am happy to have you as not only my best friend but now my brother.” 

I felt tears begin well in my eyes. His answer was perfect. I had everything I could ever want at this moment in time. 

Just as I thought things couldn’t get any better, Leah came up and wrapped her arms around Alex. She gently kissed his cheek. I could tell by the look in her eyes she felt the same way for him as I did towards Luca. 

“I see you are one lucky man yourself.” I smirked at Alex. 

Leah interjected, “So we are all good here, then? Everyone is okay with all of this?”

Alex replied, “yeah, baby. Everything is fine.” Alex then turned to Luca and said, “Unless you hurt her… then I will have to kick your ass.” 

We all had a good laugh. I do not think my life could get any better than it is right now… that is until later tonight……
