"Alright, so there is a process for a regular werewolf to shift into a different pack?" I ask Cass as she explains to me about everything in my office. The Alpha's office I mean.
"Yes. You are going to go through their profile. Where they were earlier and why they want to become your pack member in the first place," she tells me.
"I don't know s**t about this pack itself and how would I know if they come from a better pack or a pack of serial killers?" I ask her and she bursts out into laughter.
Just at the same moment Austin runs through the door and hugs his mom's legs. Cass takes him in her arms and blows raspberry kisses on both his cheeks making him giggle as he is panting for breath.
"Had a fun time with Maxie?" She asks and Austin nods excitedly. I smile looki
