Jovian's POV:
I had the largest smile on my face as we headed back from destroying that nest. I even had a few moments where I softly chuckled to myself, earning me a strange look from the King.
"What's so funny?" He asked as he looked over at me again for the tenth time.
"I haven't had a good fight like that in so long! I had a blast!" I told him and he smiled with a small laugh.
"You act like you've never taken out a nest before," He told me and I shook my head.
"I have, it's just been a really long time. That was the most fun I've had...well since the last time I went out with Atticus to take out a nest which was well over a hundred years ago. I think we were living in France at the time of the last one." I told him and he continued to smile.
