Kara's POV:
Once I was outside of his room with the door closed, I picked up my speed to get away from him faster. I even found myself looking behind my back to make sure he wasn't following me from afar.
"Kara!" I heard Jovian's voice from beside me, down the hall off to my left.
"I think you need to keep your distance right now. The king is very touchy at the moment and it's going to be bad enough that I have the other royal's scent on me, he doesn't need to smell more of yours than there already is." I told him as he caught up with me.
"I just wanted to make sure you were okay." He told me and I nodded.
