-ROBIN-
A YAWN aloud as I was staring at the maroon-colored ceiling. I was already awake for more than ten minutes but I still had no plan of getting up. The bed was too comfortable and the smell of the bedsheets and pillows was too good for a wolf-like me.
I knew that it was Czech's room.
I could tell it by the mix of woodscent and musky cologne he's always wearing that was all over the place and was tickling my nose and the whole system. Because of that, I unawarely smile.
I never expected that the room of a man like Czech Romanov would feel so very warm and homey that made me want to sleep more. However, even if I want to close my eyes and rest more, I couldn't do that.
Calvin was still out there with the Dark Prism's Epsilons. I was worried if he's alright. Groaning, I slid off the comforter and jumped out of the bed just in time when the door burst open.
Czech entered the room and I automatically snapped my head to him.
"Uhm, h-hi," I awkwardly greeted him and scratched my nape. "I'm sorry I fell asleep."
He paced forward and stopped almost right in front of my face just like what he had done earlier that day. "You can still rest here if you want, Spark. Your friend is doing fine in the game room with Greco and Aphro."
Upon hearing that my friend was having a great time himself, a deep relieved sigh escaped out of my mouth. "She's a little awkward around people so I'm a little worried, man. Maybe we should just join them."
I ran my fingers into my silver hair and was about to iron my crumpled clothes with my hands when I noticed something. Aside from I was barefoot, it was a black shirt that I was wearing instead of the henley.
My eyes widened and immediately spun around "s**t!" I hugged myself in shock and fear.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Czech asked behind and was about to approach me but I quickly moved away from him.
"Y-you... are you the one who changed my clothes?" in a rattled voice, I asked him back still not facing him.
How's that happened?
I'm so stupid! I put my freaking guard down!
I felt Czech tensed up and I swear I heard his jaw ticked. It seemed like my question offended him but I was too scared to even care as I started sweating bullets.
Damn it.
No one should find out about my secret. My family will be kicked out of our land when the elders find out that I'm a woman.
I can't...
I...
I released a frustrated sighed and cursed.
Hell!
It's not my parent's legacy that I was concerned about but the Epsilon who's with me at the moment's reaction if ever he already did uncover the truth.
Did he find me gross?
Or is he going to call me a freak?
My questions were immediately answered when Czech spoke up in a cold distant voice. "It was not me but your special friend who changed your clothes. It's not my f*****g thing to take advantage of someone who's into a deep sleep,"
That made me startled and blinked.
Did he misunderstand my words?
But before I voice that out, Czech moved back and walked out the room with heavy steps.
What the heck!
I spun around and stared at the door dumbfounded.
It's not him who changed my clothes but my special friend? Special friend. Was he referring to Calvin?
I bit my bottom lip.
If it's Calvin then I had nothing to worry about cause I knew and felt that he's a good friend. He won't tell anyone that I am a woman.
The only problem was the Epsilon who I insulted and offended and who angrily left me in his room.
I groaned and smacked myself from my stupidity for snapping at him. Walking back to bed, I slumped down groaned aloud.
Stupid Spark boy.
What are you going to do now with a mad and cold as an ice pack warrior, huh!
______________
FIFTEEN minutes later...
"OH MY, you're finally awake!"
I saw a petite and pretty woman when I went down the first floor of Dark Prism's Main Packhouse.
There's no one there so I had no choice but to approach and talk to her.
"Hi, I'm Rob--" I was about to introduce myself but she cut me.
"Oh, I already know you, silly." She reached for my hands and held them tight and beamed at me. "Czech told us about you and as the son of Alpha Aric, I am so glad to finally meet the future Alpha of Spark Galore!"
I didn't know how to react. Should I wince or smile? I choose the latter to make her comfortable with me. "It was also nice meeting you, Ma'am."
The woman laughed. She finally let go of my hand and introduced herself. "Oh, please. Don't call me Ma'am dear. Just call me, Vajolet. I am Czech's sister-in-law and the Alpha ng Dark Prism's wife."
My eyes widened. "You're the Luna of this pack?"
Vajolet nodded and grinned widely. "I am but don't get envious of my Alpha for having a perfect wife like me cause soon, you'll meet your own future Luna, believe me." She giggled that made me chuckled too.
Though, I don't think that will happen shortly.
Aside from having a complicated situation, I don't think I'll look for any woman to be Spark Galore's future Luna. There's this glacial beast Epsilon who's I am interested in.
Speaking of Epsilon...
I wondered where Czech went to, so without giving it a thought, I asked the Luna in front of me of his whereabouts.
"Ahm, do you by chance saw Czech, Vajolet?" I brushed my hair with my fingers and run my tongue along my lower lip.
She stopped giggling and stared at me intently. "Czech went out but he'll come back before dinner. He looked upset, though. Tell me, do you two fought?"
I nodded and sighed. "It was my fault for snapping at him. Maybe I'll just apologize later."
Vajolet gave me a flustered look as she heard my words. "Wow! Really? You snapped at my brother in law and you're still alive?" She hummed and tapped her chin with her hand like she's into deep thoughts. "I think that foolish Greco's right. That glacial bastard is into you, Spark boy."
I grunted.
Oh, man.
Not her too!
