CH.9

(Daphanie's pov)

I decided to go see Hardin this morning to try and get him to see things my way which is the right way and give him another chance to reject that b**ch and be with me, I walked up to Hardin's floor and he was standing there at the top of the steps. he asked me what I was doing on the Alpha floor and I said I was coming to give him another chance to be with someone who could please him in every way and he just laughed and told me to go before I pissed him off. I tried so hard to tell him he was making a mistake but he started to get angry with me but I kept trying. I told him she couldn't be a strong Luna like I could and that I was even prettier than her Hardin raised his voice and said,

"I'm not going to tell you again, Daphanie, I do not want to be with you! You have been trying since you turned 18 and not once have I given you any reason to think I would ever be with you! I found my mate and I love her!! You will drop this nonsense crap and obey your Alpha and show your future Luna respect. Do you understand me?" I said yes, Alpha.

before I could walk away, that ugly b**ch walks up and wraps her arms around my man's waist and says she accepts the responsibilities of being Luna to the pack. I wanted to rip her head off right there but I ran away instead.

(Hardin's pov)

After Aspen told me she wanted to be my Luna, I kissed her so passionately and then we headed down for breakfast. I will be announcing to the pack this morning that Aspen has decided to accept the role as their future Luna and my mate. As we approach the dining room Aspen freezes and starts shaking with tears welling up in her eyes. I look around to see what has her so scared, when I see Mikael sitting at my table with the other guys laughing like he still had a place at my table. I let Aspen's hand go and tell her to stay put and walk up to my table and ask what the hell he was doing sitting there knowing he lost the right to sit with the high-rank members when he tried to s*xually assault the future Luna even though she said no. He looked up and said,

"Come on man, we've been friends for years and you have only known her what 3 days? Plus she agreed to go out to the SUV with me and she was flirting with me so I was led to believe she wanted it too."

My wolf Blaze was starting to surface but all a sudden he calmed down and I heard the sweetest voice in the world. She walked up next to me and said,

"Mikael, you are hereby banned from this table. If you want to conversate with your friends you must do it in another location. I personally don't want to see your face but you are a member of this pack so I have no choice."

Mikael got up and got in Aspen's face and I growled a warning growl. Aspen put her hand on me and said,

"Mikael, I suggest you step down and back away from your future Luna unless you want to disobey an order from a higher rank."

He laughed at her and said she wasn't a higher rank and he had more say in our pack than she did because he was born into it. This f*cker is seriously trying to get himself killed today.

Aspen kept her hand on me and what she did next surprised the sh*t out of me. My tiny shy mate yelled louder than I've heard her before and she said,

"Excuse me everyone." a few people got quiet so I roared at the dining hall to be quiet and everyone shut their mouths.

Aspen said "excuse me everyone, some of you know who I am already but for those of you who don't, my name is Aspen Wright and I am the Beta female from blood-orange moon. Some of you already know my reason for being here and for those of you who don't, please let me tell you. I, Aspen Wright, am the destined mate of your soon-to-be Alpha Hardin Tifton. I came here to see what my future pack was like and how things are ran. I must say your soon-to-be Alpha is doing an amazing job running this pack alongside his father and I pray to the moon goddess that I will to be half the Luna Mrs. Tifton is. My first step in becoming a Luna, I must announce that your ranked warrior Mikael has committed a serious crime. Mikael and I met at my pack when my parents put together the mate ball on my 18th birthday a few days ago and while he and I were alone he tried to force me into s*xual acts inside the Alpha's SUV while the Alpha and other men who were with them were inside. I told Mikael, no but he ignored me and continued to assault me and if your Alpha hadn't shown up when he did, Mikael may have succeeded in what he was trying to do. So to all the females out there please be careful when around him. Please do not let him sweet talk you into going somewhere to talk alone. That is exactly what happened with me. Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I hope to get to know each and every one of you and I plan on doing everything in my power to protect this pack and do all that I can as your Luna when the day comes. Mikael was growling when Aspen finished her speech and then he grabbed Aspen by the arm and called her a b**ch. Blaze surfaced by this point and was ready to tear Mikael apart. Blaze growled and told Mikael to release our mate's arm before we ripped his throat out. Aspen looked at him and said,

"You have been ordered by the Alpha of your pack to let go of my arm. If it were not for me, you're a** would have been torn apart 3 days ago, but out of the kindness of my heart, I asked my mate to spare your life after you tried to violate me."

Mikael raised his hand to Aspen as if he was going to slap her and I grabbed him by the throat and lifted him off the ground and as he was gasping for air, I told him the next time he disrespected my mate and future Luna of this pack would be the last time he took a breath. I slung him across the room and he hit the concrete wall and fell. I looked at him and said get the f*ck out of my packhouse and said he was now banned from the packhouse but he could remain in the pack land living in one of the townhomes to the south. After all of that, I was too worked up to eat in the dining hall. My sister Annalynn had the kitchen send up a few plates for me and Aspen to eat in my room.

(Mikael's pov)

After Hardin threw me across the room and banned me from the packhouse, I left and went straight to my sister Daphanie's. When I got there she was sitting on her couch crying. I asked her what was wrong and she told me that the b*tch Hardin was mated to made her look stupid for telling Hardin how she felt about him and then she asked me why I was there and I told her about how that b*tch humiliated me in front of the whole dining hall by telling every she-wolf to watch out for me because I supposedly s*xually assaulted her at the mate ball and told her how Hardin threw me across the room and banned me from the packhouse for trying to put the b*tch in her place since she was not a member of this pack. Daphanie looked at me and said this b*tch needs to be taught a lesson and needs to take her a** back to where she came from before she ends up with her throat ripped out. I told her I agreed. Then I asked how were we going to get this b*tch out of our lives? we sat there for 2 hours thinking about what we could do without it coming back to bite us in the a** in the end. Daphanie asked me if I knew anything about her and I said all I knew was her parents were the Beta's and she had a younger brother. Daphanie sat for a while then finally said she had an idea but it was really risky because it involved both Hardin's sister Annalynn and Aspen's brother. I looked at her like she grew 4 heads then asked how the f*ck are we going to get close to their siblings to hurt her and not get killed? Daphanie smiled and said to give her a day or so and she would fill me in on everything. I sat down on the couch and told her I had to call Jakob to find out where my new home was since I was kicked out of the packhouse. She said ok then left. I called Jakob and the first thing that came out of his mouth was,

" Dude, WTF is wrong with you?" I told him nothing was wrong with me and he said "how could you put your hands on the Luna when you are already facing punishment for assaulting her a few days ago?"

I snapped and said, first of all, I didn't assault anyone that girl wanted it. Why else would she walk out to the car with me and get in the back seat and still sit there after I kissed her? Second of all, she needed to be put in her place this morning. There is no way I am going to allow some outsider to humiliate me in front of my pack like that. He snapped back at me and said,

"She isn't an outsider anymore you dumba**. She is our future Luna and our Alpha's mate." I just laughed at his comment. Then I asked for the number for my new home since I was kicked out of the packhouse. He gave me the information on my new home and I hung up. F*ck I need a drink," I yelled and decided to go to one of the wolf bars that serve underage wolves.
