Wyatt’s pov

When I woke up I got a mind-link from my dad saying I had a package. I went up to get it and saw it was from Jakob of green moon. I knew Aspen was sending me something but I didn't know what. I opened the package and saw 3 videotapes and a note. It said, **that talk I needed you to have with you know who make sure you show these to that person.** I went to my office and popped a tape in to see what I was about to be getting myself into and when it came on there was a guy I didn't know telling the camera that he was one of Daphanie’s friends with benefits. Then there was another and another and so on. I went to the second tape and it was the same and on to the third yet again more guys saying they were sleeping with Daphanie and half of them even provided text messages with pictures of her and her number just as proof. I sat back and said that’s one way of taking down a crazy chick who is using your brother to get back at you. Well done sis! Now how am I going to get Dayton in here to show all of this to him without him blowing up on me? I decided to do something I wasn't going to do which involved my dad but since he is still Alpha he can help keep Dayton from blowing up and going crazy on me. I took the note and hid it in my safe and then burned the package so no one could see where this came from. I went to my dad’s office and said I need your help.

He looked at me and said, "son is everything ok? What was that package about?" I said I'm fine dad and the package was from someone i trust so it’s nothing bad well not for me anyway.

he raised his brow and said, "tell me what is going on right now Wyatt Smith." I closed his office door and sat down and told him everything that has been going on except about Trini being able to hear people’s thoughts.

He looked at me and said "Wyatt why didn’t you come to me sooner, son?" I told him Aspen and Hardin asked me to sit back and wait but then this chick comes into our packhouse and starts treating people like she is a ranked pack member and treating people like crap.

He asked me why Hardin hadn’t banished her yet and I said dad what good is that going to do? She would still come here and use Dayton as a pawn in her plan to get rid of Aspen so she could have Hardin. He asked me how old she was and I said dad she is 19 and Dayton is only 16 but she has him believing she is his mate. I texted Trini and had her send me the voice recording she had of Daphanie and her brother in the woods on our packlands. I played it for my dad and he got angry he asked who the male was and I said it is her brother and Hardin almost killed him the day of Aspen’s birthday and the ball because he tried to s*xually assault Aspen and that is when they found out they were mates.

My dad was way beyond angry his eyes turned black and he roared and said, "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY? WYATT SMITH WHY IN THE HELL DIDN’T YOU COME TO ME WHEN THIS HAPPENED?" I said dad it wasn’t our pack member and Hardin said he would be dealing with it. He was going to kill him but Aspen begged him not to.

My dad began to calm down a little and said, "what do you need me to do Wyatt?" I told him about the package and what was on the tapes he sighed and said, "ok what do you need? Do you need me in the room or do you want me to wait outside the door?" I asked him to wait outside the door.

He said he would help and then told me to go ahead and mind-link Dayton to come up now to do this. I said yes sir and mind-linked Dayton. He said he would be up in a few minutes. My dad told me to mind-link him as soon as Dayton got here and then told me to go to my office. I sat down and waited.

There was a knock at my door and Dayton entered and said, "what do you want Wyatt?" I held up a finger and let my dad know he was here. Once I knew my dad was outside I said Dayton we need to talk.

He said, "about what?" I told him to sit down and I pulled out the 3 videos he looked at me and asked what they were. I said Dayton these tapes were delivered to me anonymously and I need for you to watch them. He looked at me and said "I didn't do anything Wyatt I swear."

I told him they weren’t of him and pressed play on the first one. After the first guy, he jumped up and said "it’s lies who the f*ck sent these to you? Hardin?" I told him it was not Hardin. I had already called and asked and I had even asked the delivery service where they were sent from and it was nowhere near the green moon and that a young female is who sent them but she did not give a name.

All I was told was that she had red hair and blue eyes. I played the rest of the tape and he kept screaming they were lies. He started to walk out when my dad stepped in front of him and said, "sit your ass down right now Dayton Wright and watch the last 2 videos like your future Alpha said to do." He lowered his head and said, "yes Alpha Charlie."

I put the second tape in and played it. This is where the text came in and his eyes got big and I heard him say the word no under his breath. I played the last tape and this one had dates that were within the last week on the text his face turned red and he stood up and said, "that b*tch lied to me. She was using me. Why did she use me? I didn’t even know her. Why come after me?"

This boy actually broke down and cried in my office my dad stepped out and I walked up to him and said Dayton from what I do know about her and what I have heard with my own ears come out of her mouth she hates your sister because the moon goddess mated her to Hardin and Daphanie wants Hardin.

He cried even more and said, "why can’t I find a girl who is honest and wants to be with me?" I told him the moon goddess would bless him with his mate when he became of age. I told him now that he knew the truth and I needed his help. I told him I needed to catch her for disrespecting pack members but I needed him to pretend everything was all good for a little while longer.

He said he would and I made him shake my hand on that promise and made him shake my dad's hand. Once he went home I left the packlands and called Aspen while heading to get something to eat and told her the deed was done and the douchebag was going to help him but he didn’t know anything about her plan.

She said, "thank you so much Wyatt" and I said you also owe my dad a thank you sis. She said, "oh goddess how much trouble am i in with him?" I laughed and said he isn’t mad anymore. She said she had to go help Hardin’s mom and we said bye and hung up.

I drove around and found something for me and Trini to eat then took it back to the packhouse and told her everything over lunch.
