Aspen's pov

After dinner we all sat out by the lake and talked, Jakob said he was getting tired and Trini said she was too so they decided to go to bed. Annalynn asked if she could talk to me for a minute and I walked with her away from everyone. she said,

"Aspen I don't know what to do." I asked her what she was talking about and she said, "we are all staying the night here, and if you look there are only 3 rooms." I looked back and realized what she was talking about.

she said, "how am I going to share a room with Jakob without my brother freaking out all night?" I told her Hardin wouldn't have allowed them to share a room if he didn't trust them.

She said, "what if I don't trust myself?" I looked at her and she said, "when Jakob was getting out of the shower I was doing my make-up and I kind of saw him drying off." she said, "if Jakob even thinks about touching me Hardin will kill him." I smiled and said he doesn't have to touch you or even see anything revealing. she raised her brow and said, "how?" I said yall have to share a bed right? she nodded and then said "but Jakob brought an extra blanket so he can use it instead of sharing the covers with me."

I smiled and said well that works for what I'm going to suggest. she said, "what are going to suggest Aspen?" I told her to talk to Jakob about helping them both with relieving the tension between them. she gasped and asked me how they could do that without actually touching. I explained that all they have to do is touch themselves while watching the other and even if they don't see anything revealing it will still help them both out. she smiled and said, "I might do that but what if Hardin finds out?" I said Jakob promised not to touch you or disrespect you or your brother but he wouldn't be disrespecting either of you nor would he be breaking his promise, so Hardin shouldn't find out.

she smiled then gave me a hug and said, "I'm so glad we are going to be sisters." I told her to get going and when we get home she can spill it when we are alone. she giggled and said, "night."

I walked back to where Hardin was sitting and he said, "what was that about?" I said she just needed her sister's advice nothing to worry about my love.

he pulled me down into his lap and said, "are you ready to spend the rest of our lives together baby?" I told him I wouldn't want to spend it with anyone else and I leaned in and kissed him. we sat there by the water for about 20 more minutes then Hardin said, "why don't we go ahead and head inside?" I told him that would be a good idea since it was starting to get a little foggy by the lake.

when we got to the door there was a note for me that said, "enjoy your night we love you! Wyatt, Trini, Jakob, and Annalynn." I smiled and said how did you pull all this off without me knowing? he smiled and said, "I have a best friend who is my Beta and does as he is told and I was owed a favor from a certain Alpha in training." I smiled and said this night has been perfect baby thank you. he opened the door and the room was beautiful. It had rose petals and roses all over it.

We walked in and he said, "I hope you like the roses baby." I smiled and said everything was beautiful. Hardin said he had to use the bathroom and excused himself.

I sat my bag on the bed and waited on him to come out so I could go change, while Hardin was in the shower before we left and I was packing the overnight bag I decided since we were staying the night away from the packhouse I would bring my surprise just in case I felt like wearing it for him. I heard the door handle move and I hid the nighty in my robe and when Hardin came out I saw candles lit in the bathroom. He asked if I would like to soak in the tub and relax for a little while and I told him that sounded good. Once I got in the tub Hardin got in after me and we sat there in silence just taking in the peace and quiet. Once the water started getting cold Hardin got out and went into the room while I got dressed. I decided to put on my nighty and make this night even more special by making him feel good. I put my robe on and opened the bathroom door to see Hardin sitting on the bed with 2 glasses of champagne.

I giggled and said I guess you thought of everything, didn't you baby? he smirked then sat a bowl of strawberries on the bed next to him and said, "come sit and have a drink with me my love." I smiled and went and sat on the bed, he handed me my glass and we toasted to us and to living a happy life together. I drank half of my glass before I started to feel it. I started getting hot and took my robe off without thinking and when I turned to face Hardin his mouth was wide open. I asked him what he was staring at and he said, "when did you buy that my love?" I looked down and blushed then told him I bought it when I went shopping with his mom.
