CH.26

Hardin's pov

When I woke up Aspen wasn't in the bed. I got up and put my pants on and checked the bathroom, She wasn't in there either. I mind-linked Jakob to see if he had seen Aspen but I was met with a block. I put my t-shirt and shoes on and walked out the door and headed to Jakob and Annalynn's room I knocked but no answer I went next door to Trini and Wyatt's room no answer there either I walked around the backside of the rooms and saw them sitting in the gazebo, I walked up and said um why didn't you wake me up, baby? she smiled and said,

"you looked so peaceful sleeping I didn't want to interrupt your peace baby." I sat down next to her and she said, "you are just in time for lunch, Jakob and Wyatt went in together and ordered all of us something to eat. It should be here any minute."

Jakob looked at me and smirked and whispered asking if Aspen liked the champagne and strawberries. I glared at him and he started laughing and said "dude chill out I was just playing." I whispered that he and I would talk when we got home, he nodded I then looked over at my sister and said the two of you had better of behaved last night Annalynn glared at me and Aspen smacked my arm, Jakob said "relax bro I brought my own blankets and I swear I didn't touch her." I busted out laughing and said, "chill Jak I trust you bro I was just playing." Aspen, Annalynn, and Jakob glared at me, thankfully the food arrived and saved me from having the 3 of them burn holes into me from their glares.

Annalynn kept looking at me funny and I mind-linked her to see why. she said she was sensing something but couldn't figure out what it was and I asked her what she meant she was sensing something. she said, "I don't know how to explain it big brother it's like the night I sensed Jakob and I were mates." I asked her how long she had been sensing things and she said a few days before I brought Aspen to meet them. I asked if she had told anyone else about this and she said "no only you and Aspen." I told her to keep it to herself for now and she said ok.

Aspen leaned in and said, "everything ok?" I said yeah just a little brother/sister talk nothing to worry about my love. She raised her brow and said we will talk later. I just nodded.

while we sat and ate, the girls talked about wedding stuff, and Jakob, Wyatt, and I sat there shaking our heads at all the wedding talk. Aspen and Trini were talking about places to get married and Annalynn was giving them ideas on dresses and flowers when the 3 of us guys decided to go walk down to the lake. Wyatt was the first one to ask how last night went and I looked at him and said are you sure you want to hear about it? I mean you do think of Aspen as a sister. he looked at me and said, "how bad can it be bro?"

I smirked and he and Jakob both said "noooo" at the same time. I nodded and said I didn't plan on it happening last night but she is the one who said she wanted to make love. I even asked her several times before we did anything if she was sure and she said she was. they both said "welcome to the club bro" and I laughed and said I didn't know how amazing it could be and now that we've done it how in the hell am I supposed to stay away from her?

They laughed at me and said, "it's hard to do but you will find a way." Jakob said, "Was it amazing?" I said dude I thought the oral and touching was amazing but actually being inside her caused sparks for me I don't know how to explain it but it was like I was seeing, "STARS?" Wyatt said. I said so is it like that your first time or just with your mate? Jakob looked at me and said, "well I've been with my fair share of girls and I can honestly say I've never experienced that."

Wyatt told me Trini was his first and it was like that the first time and each time after for him. I said I wonder if the girls feel the spark too? I looked back at my beautiful mate and smiled. Jakob then asked if I used protection and I looked at him and said oh f**k. Wyatt put his hand on my shoulder and said, "calm down dude the moon goddess blesses us with pups when she sees fit and it's more likely to happen during the girl's heat so I think your first time was safe." Wyatt asked if I wanted to have pups and I said yes I love kids and I want to be an amazing father like my dad has been to me and Annalynn. Jakob said, "bro I've known you my whole life there is no way you won't be just as amazing as uncle Clay."

Aspen's pov

me, Trini, and Annalynn were in the gazebo talking about wedding stuff when the guys walked off and went down to the lake. I mind-linked Hardin but got blocked. I wonder what they are talking about. I tried to mind-link him once more but I was met with Hardin's voice in my head but he wasn't mind-linking me. I tried to talk to him through my mind but I got no reply. I heard him say "oh f**k and yes I love kids and I want to be an amazing father like my dad has been to me and Annalynn." I was pulled out of my mind by Trini shaking me asking if I was ok, I nodded and said um I need to go use the bathroom, I'll be back in a few minutes. When I got to our room I felt like I was having an anxiety attack. I went into the bathroom and splashed some water on my face and stared at myself in the mirror. What the hell was that? I thought to myself I was pulled out of my thoughts by a knock on the room door. I went and opened it and it was Annalynn and Trini. they asked if I was ok and I said honestly I don't know. Annalynn asked what was wrong and I told them to come in so no one would overhear me. as soon as Trini walked into the room she said,

"OH, MY GODDESS it smells like s*x in here" and laughed I looked at her and she gasped and said, "Aspen did you and Hardin mate?" I nodded my head and she squealed. She asked if he wanted to or if I decided to and I told her it was me. I said I thought about it and realized I wasn't being fair to myself or to Hardin and I finally said f*ck it and asked him to make love to me.

I also told her he made sure it was what I wanted before he did anything and that he was gentle with me each time she looked at me and said "each time?" I blushed and said we didn't go to bed until about 4 this morning. Annalynn sat there quietly and then said, "EWWWW virgin ears here and that's my brother." I burst out laughing and said sorry. Annalynn said, "so why don't you think you are ok?" I told them that what I was about to say had to stay between the 3 of us for now Annalynn and Trini both agreed to keep their lips sealed.

I sat down on the edge of the bed and took a deep breath and said while we were outside in the gazebo after the guys walked off I tried to mind-link Hardin but was met with a block I tried again and ended up being able to hear what he was saying but when I tried to talk to him I got no reply it was like I could hear his conversation with Wyatt and Jakob but I didn’t hear all of it just a piece and what I heard has me a little worried. Trini looked at me and said, "what has you worried Asp?" I looked at her and then at Annalynn and said what if I get pregnant? We didn’t use protection.

Annalynn said, "from what my mother has taught me about the mother of all werewolves she blesses us with pups when she feels it's right and it's more likely to get pregnant during your heat than your first time." I looked at both of them and said if she blesses us when she feels it's right then why did I end up pregnant when I was 14 after my assault and then end up having to terminate the pregnancy because we both would have died? Trini and Annalynn both said they did not know but I should not question the moon goddess.

I sighed and said I am going to see if this happens again with me hearing Hardin’s conversation before I bring it up to him. Just as I finished that sentence Hardin opened the door and said "everything ok in here?" We all nodded and he said, "ok ladies it's time to pack up and head home." I whined and said do we have to? Hardin laughed and "yes my love we do you and I have a pack to run and Wyatt and Trini have a pack to run as well." Annalynn said, "Hey what about me do I not have an important role at home?" Hardin looked at Annalynn and said, "yes you do it’s called being an annoying little sister." She stuck her tongue out at him and said "you are such an ass." He gasped and said, "did you just call me an ass?" She said, "yes I did got a problem with it?" He said, "ohhh I'm telling mom and dad." Me and Trini busted out laughing and said really Hardin what are you 10? He said, "no but she is my little sister and she isn’t old enough to say stuff like that."

I looked at Hardin and said and exactly how old were you when you started talking like that Mr? He started stuttering and said,

"it’s different. I'm a guy." I glared at him and said you leave your sister alone, Hardin. That's the first bad word I've heard her say since we met. He said "fine" and went to start packing up our stuff. Trini and Annalynn left to go get their things packed.

I sat down on the bed and Hardin came and sat next to me. He asked if everything was ok and I said yeah just sad this special moment had to end. He looked at me and said, "baby I promise once Daphanie and Mikael are dealt with we can enjoy our engagement every single day until we get married and we can invite Trini and Wyatt to come visit more often." I sighed and said ok.

We got our bag and all the flowers and loaded the car, Trini ran over to me and said "I don’t want to go home why can’t we stay here and live in this special moment all 6 of us?" I said you know as well as I do we have to go home. I told her once all this drama s**t was done and over with we will be inviting them to come stay more often and we will come to visit them when we have a chance. I gave her a big hug and she got in their car Wyatt came over to me and said, "squirt, I am happy for you and I'm happy that Trini and I got to be part of this special moment if you need us for anything you know you can call and we will be there in 2 hours." I said I know and thank you, Wyatt. I love y’all and I will see y'all soon. I gave him a hug and then got in our car.

I waited until everyone had pulled out of the parking lot to cry. Hardin put his hand on my leg and asked why I was crying and I said because I'm an emotional person and this has been a magical moment and now it has ended. He looked at me and said, "baby with the two of us it’s always magical." I smiled and told Hardin I loved him. I closed my eyes and slept on the ride home.
