When I reached my apartment, my feet quickly halted upon seeing Luther waiting in my doorway. When he sensed my presence, he looked at me with relief that was quickly replaced by annoyance. I sighed, thinking he would not easily disappear from my life. “Where you’ve been?” Luther demanded. While walking back home, I spotted a restaurant known for its hotpot. So, I dined there alone and savored the warm and tasty soup in silence. Good thing I did that because I needed my energy to deal with this very stubborn man. “Why are you here?” I asked him back.
