Chapter 10Luke put his elbows on the desk and his head in his hands. What a s**t-show. At least Ben had admitted it. And if Charlie and Lacey were going to witness Ben’s statement, that was Luke done, he could fill in the rest of the accident report and go home. This sort of thing was why he’d never pushed for the theatre manager job when it came up. He liked shows and tech and creative stuff. He didn’t like hard decisions and paperwork. A certain amount came with his territory; but thankfully this wasn’t one of them. He could push it on up the chain and let Lacey, Charlie, and the board decide whether to prosecute. He could understand Alex not wanting to go to the police. Going to court and telling everyone your colleague pushed you off some ladders at work because you told him you only
