Chapter 2 finding out who the pups are

Beep...Beep...beep...beep...beep.

“Hello” said a husky voice.

“Hi brother, its me.” Said Marc.

“Oh, hello brother what’s up?”

“I called to check on you and to ask you for a favor.” Said Marc with a serious voice.

“Well, it's fine my mate is well too. What favor?”

“Well, you know that we adopted two kids five years ago, right? Well, it just hit me today that we might not get to see our kids grow up or even meet our grandkids, so I wanted to ask just in case but if and I mean if something happens before they are eighteen and we are no longer here do you think you guys could take care of them for me?” said Marc.

“Yeah, you mentioned that. Huh, wait why are thinking of this now? Has something happened?”

“No nothing has happened it's just that our job are dangerous and if something should happen on a mission what happens to our kids. Please brother I can’t think of anyone who would take care of them like their own except you and your mate.” said Marc.

“Yeah, I understand where you’re coming from brother, I do but you need to make it back for your kids. And I know what you mean Mikas sister isn’t very reliable. Okey, I promise you that if it comes to that and one day you guys die I and my mate will return home and raise them as our own and keep them safe for you okey.”

“Thanks brother. I will try not to die and so will my mate. Bye bro.,” said Marc.

“Bye”

Then the call ended.

When I turned around, I flinched because I hadn’t noticed that my mate had come home and when I turned around, she stood behind me and it turns out she heard everything because of the unshed tears in her eyes. She gave me a sad smile which I returned. She understood why I had called because the next mission we are going to are very dangerous and we could get killed for doing this. We know that our girls are Lycan’s and because of that and the aura they give out we must protect them. tonight, we will go visit my old friend in the city who is a witch. She will help us find their real parents and then we can go search for them after we come back from our mission. But first we need my friend to help us hide the girl's auras and Lycans until they are strong enough to go through the shift. When it got dark, we said our goodbyes to the alpha and beta and told them that we will be back in the morning. We put the kids in their child seats and put the seatbelts on and then we closed the backseat doors and then I opened the driver seat door and sat down and closed the door while Mika was sitting in the passenger seat. We fastened the seatbelts and then I started the car and then we drove away from the pack. When we got to the city it was almost midnight and then we turned into our usual hidden house that not even the Lycan’s can find its our safe house. We drove through the barrier and then when we saw the parking lot next to the house, I parked the car and then we walked outside and carried the kids in our arms. I unlocked the door and opened it and Mika walked inside then I walked after her. And the house looked a lot like a mansion. When we walked into the living room, we saw our friend sitting there with a cup of tea in her hand. After we had sat down on the coach we talked.

“Alright let’s go down to business what can I help you with?” said Aria.

“First, we need you to hide our daughters' auras and then you must make sure that they don’t shift until they are strong enough to survive the shift. And then we need your help to locate their real parents.” Said Mika.

“Well, the first is easy so I will begin with that, I had a feeling you would ask me that, so I already made a potion in the form of a medicine pill and it’s important that they take it twice every day. And about their parents I have brought a friend with me she is a seer so she can probably answer you right now.” Said Aria.

“Thanks Aria. We will give it to them twice a day I promise. Really that’s great let’s hear it then.” Said Mika.

“You’re welcome. Good. Reiko, can you come here and let’s begin.” Said Aria.

“Sure sis. Let’s begin.” Said Reiko.

She walked into the living room and sat down next to Aria and then she put down her crystal ball on the table and told the girls to put their hands on the crystal ball after she has put her hands on it. They followed her lead and then she said some spell in a foreign language.

“What do you see?” asked Aria.

“I see a queen and king who lost their newborn girl the same night she was born she was kidnaped together with the king's betas newborn daughter. They searched everywhere only to not find a trace of them. The queen is sad and preys to the goddess for the safety of her and her betas child. I also see a young girl at her 18 birthday she will have to choose to either leave the pack or stay and if she stays her mate will be the death of her. If she leaves to find her parents, she will have a bright future ahead. The other girl will never leave her side and protect her. Sadly, their future isn’t all about happiness there is some sadness too.” Said Reiko.

“What king and queen?” said Mika.

“Serena is the daughter of the Lycan king and queen, and Mira is their betas daughter. Which means that Mira will never leave her future queen behind without knowing that she is safe, or she will follow her everywhere to keep her safe.” Said Reiko.

Then she put her hands away. When aria looked at her friend, she only saw how stunned they looked by this news. but she also knew by Reiko’s look that they won’t be alive to see their kids growing up which makes her sad. “Please come back alive.” Said Aria.

“I can’t promise you, but we will try. If we die, please protect our children aria. I have told my brother to take care of them. But should something happen to them then you are all they have left. We already made you their godmother a while back so if something happens to us and my brother can’t take care of them then please take care of them for us Aria. Keep them safe. We must leave for a mission tomorrow so we will leave the kids in your care until we are back. and if we don’t make it back after 3 weeks then you know what to do.” Said Marc.

“Alright. Yeah, I know. I will I promise I won’t let any harm come their way.” Said Aria.

They kissed their kids and hugged them one last time then they stood up and whispered bye for aria to hear. She nodded. They smiled and walked outside and when she heard their car roar to life and leave, she broke down in Reiko’s arms. They both know that this may be the last time they get to see their friends again. Mika broke down in tears in the car, but she was more determined than ever to make it home alive and her mate was too.
