Chapter 1 saving pups

A week later a warrior on patrol finds two newborn pups by the border and links his alpha asking him what they should do but as soon as he closed the mind link, he sees two rogues in human form talking about how easy it was to kidnap the children from their parents and how their leader asked them to kill the kids. The warrior couldn’t stand it any longer and killed the rogues and then he took both kids in his arms and in that moment, he decided that he would raise them as his own. He asked another warrior to take his shift. Then he walked home to his mate. They had tried for years to get kids, but it didn’t work. When he got home, he asked her to open the door for him which she did and when she saw the two bundles of joy in his arms, she felt the need to protect them and keep them hidden so she took them from his arms and placed them in her own. And when she held them in her arms, she felt like they were important and would do wonders in the future, so she told her mate that they were staying with them. She knew the moment she saw them that they were special and needed to be protected. It was a good thing that she is one of the teachers of the daycare in the pack and always has diapers and food for newborn at home duo to the fact that pack members sometimes asked her to babysit their pups when they must work or something. When she had fed them and put them to sleep, she told her mate to talk to the alpha tomorrow which he promised he would. Her mate was the delta of the pack which made her the delta female. Her mate was offered to be beta before they met but he declined the offer.

They woke up early in the morning and made some breakfast then he kissed his mate Mika on her cheek and left the house. He walked for five minutes then he walked inside the pack house and greeted the omegas and walked upstairs to the second floor where the alpha had his office. He knocked on the door and then waited and when he heard his alpha telling him to come in, he opened the door and walked inside and then closed it behind him then he sat down on the chair in front of the alphas office table.

“What did you find out marc?” said the alpha.

“Well about the pups I found yesterday, apparently the two rogues I killed kidnapped them from their parents and was ordered by their leader to kill the pups.” Said marc.

“That sounds bad. What kind of monster would order to kill two innocent pups? Tell the trackers and warriors to search everywhere for the parents.” Said the alpha.

“If we don’t find the parents, would it be okey with you if me and my mate adopt them as ours?” said marc.

“If we don’t find their parents then the answer is yes you can.” Said the alpha.

Then he walked out of the alphas office and did as he told him. He ordered the trackers and warriors to search everywhere for the children’s parents. But to no avail they failed they couldn’t find anything except that the kids might have been kidnaped from the Lycan castle and if that is the case then marc knew that the alpha would tell him to get the kids away from here because angry Lycans who have been stolen of their kids won’t listen to reason. He told the warriors to keep quiet about this because the kids smell like werewolves so there is no need to speculate and tell the alpha when it may not be true. They decided not to tell the alpha and walked back to their duties. But marc knew that the kids weren’t werewolves. He could feel it in his guts that the kids are 100 % Lycan’s. He and his wolf mike felt protective over the kids and their instincts told them to protect them no matter what. And that’s what they are going to do.

Five years later.

“Mira! stop running in the hallway and go wash your hands young lady.” Yelled Mika.

Mira laughed and ran over to hide behind Marc as to take cover from her mom Mika. Marc laughed and picked up Mira in his arms and carried her to the bathroom and help her wash her hands and brush her teeth then he gave her to Mika who had entered the bathroom and watched them with a smile on her lips. She held Mira in her arms and carried her to her room and then picked out some clothes and put her down on her bed and then she helped her take of her pajamas and then dressed her for the day. When she was done getting Mira dressed, she walks to the room next door only to find it empty. Then two minutes later she saw her mate walking towards her with a sleepy Serena in his arms. He has washed her face because she fell asleep at the dinner table with her face in her bowl with porridge. And then he also brushed her teeth. He walked with his mate to Serena’s room and sat down on her bed with her in his lap so they could get her dressed. After they had changed her clothes and packed down their clothes in their bags Mika carried Mira in her arms while holding her kid's bags only to give them to Marc which he gladly took. Then they walked together to the daycare. When they got there Serena started crying telling them that she wanted to stay with her dad and seeing that she didn’t stop or let him go he decided to take her with him today. She was a little under the weather today after all. His mate kissed them goodbye and walked inside with Mira who looked behind her for her sister. She knew that her sister was safe with their foster father, so she didn’t need to worry about her. Meanwhile Marc worried about their daughter she didn’t let him go the whole day. She was clinging to him like a monkey baby do on their mother, so they don’t fall on the ground. And every time he tried to put her down, she started crying and wouldn’t stop until he picked her up in his arms again. The alpha only thought that it looked funny to see his delta being bossed around by a five-year-old kid. And the beta and gamma thought so too. Sometimes all three laughed at him and he would just look at them like they were crazy, but the weirdest thing was that every time the other laughed at him his kid laughed too. He felt stupid but at the same time she was his little baby girl. He and his wolf would do anything for her and if she is happy, they are happy. He will not let anyone hurt his little baby girl. He just hopes that he will still be alive to see his kids find their mates and get a family and kids on their own and then he can watch his grandkids grow up, but he knows that may not happen. Not with his kind of job. Which means that he needs to find someone who could take care of their kids if they died one day. Maybe his mates sister or his brother. He will have to call them and ask. When he got home, he put her to bed for her nap and then he picked up his phone and dialed his brothers phone number.
