4 days ago my baby sister graduated from high school i was with her for her ceremony and we ate together before i had to go on patrol. Im the head Warrior of our pack so i have to work on nights of celebration most the time since it is important the pack be safe at all times especially when most are distracted. i had been frankly Searching for my sister Since I realized she was gone when I came home that morning after the graduation. She wasnt home and there was no note thats not normal for Josie, i texted her and she never answered. which is also not normal. i called Tara she answered and i heard an angry male about another male calling that she told to shut it i was her brother. i love that girl like i love my baby sister, She told me shed hadnt seen Jo since she ran from the ceremony. Once i knew that i started searching, i had just come home to see if she came back when i got a call from a number i didnt know but i answered it not something i would normally do but i did and i was glad. My sister is okay and now i know where she is and shes being taken care of by an Alpha. i could hear her muffled sobs and him telling her it would be okay, i want to know why he cares so much.

I packed my things and cash threw what we could away like Josette many many many clothes. packed all the pictures and the rest of them important things. once the my car was loaded and the plane ticket ready i went to my alpha.

"Alpha Sean may i have a word with you in private." i asked when i saw him outside of the pack house with his marked mate, seeing the mark on her made my angry grow. he chose that spoiled brat over my sister!

"Of course come to my office." he replied kissed her cheek than the two of us walked into the pack house and to his office.

"I know the turth and im leaving because of it" i said the moment he sat down at his chair i stayed standing.

"i dont..." he started to say but i cut him off

"shes my sister. My baby sister! and shed never lie to me especially not about that." i said stressing the words my baby sister.

he didnt say anything so i continued

"She says she cant be here and i understand that so im going to be with her so i can protect her as i promised my father i would. Both she and I understand you didnt want to accept her as your mate and thats okay she just wishes you would have rejected her properly before marking another." i said trying my best to keep a straight face, yes i lied about understanding because i know i definitely dont understand and my sister is hurt by the person who was never supposed to hurt her and pregnant! But i had to try and have a good break from this pack since its where our parents are and i wanted to make sure we could still come see them.

He got a bit of a guilty look on his face than said

"Im sorry for that. i accept that you are leaving and she has left. Jacob if you need anything please call."

"ill need to visit my parents from time to time but thank you for your offer" i said than turned and left. Worse conversation ive ever had to have, i wish i could have hit him but i cant. it was about 7pm when i got on the plane and i should be to the town near Riverview in 14 hours. im coming Josie cat im coming.

~Josette~

"Honey the baby. can you get the baby?" i holler from the vanity in the bathroom i dont hear a response but my little baby goes from crying to giggling so i know daddy has the baby

"whos daddies sweet little baby !" He coos and the baby giggles more a few minutes later i see them standing in the mirror behind me.

My baby in a little cream white outfit but i cant see its face cleary or figure out if it's male or female, I do see blonde curls on its head though clear as day.

"Are you ready to go?" he ask me and when i look at him im shocked and scared, half his face i see Sean and on the other half i see mason.

suddenly my chest is burning and i scream out in pain. I close my eyes and when i open them i see mason looking at me terrified.

"Josette?" he says my name like its a question

"Ahhhhh it burns it burns!!!!" i scream out as the pain Intensifies

"Josette what burns" mason ask puts his hands on my next and chin to get me to look up at him and the burning got worse when he touched me

"NO NO dont touch me" i yell

im sobing and screaming in pain and clawing at my chest when the door bust open and i cant even tell who it is but i hear male voices and than someone touches me again

i screamed again and mason yells

"Dont touch her!" the person touching me is suddenly not.

"Restrain him" a male said and i hear mason yelling and struggling.

"Im sorry alpha" the same male says than someone is touching me again and the struggling sounds gets worse as i scream

"Im sorry Josette." Justin whispered to me.

the burning pain in my chest went on for what seemed like forever and the entire time two people where holding my arms down and mason was struggling to get free and screaming at people and growling. i know at some point more people came in and someone touched me but there touch didnt hurt which was incredibly nice the touch that did hurt was gone from me. Mason was no longer yelling at people to stop touching me but was still struggling and growling. the last thing i heard after the pain finally stopped was the males voice apologizing to Mason and him being told to get out. everything went black after that.

~Mason~

I woke up when Josette was making small sounds of distress and immediately i was in her room sitting on the bed trying to calm her without waking her up, by running my fingers though her hair and making shhh sounds.

than suddenly she screamed in pain and moved away from and shot up in bed holding her chest

"Josette" i said her name unsure of what was wrong or if shed even want to tell me when she looked like she was in a lot of pain. Her eyes were squeezed half shut her mouth in a thin tight line. it was like the pain she was in had increased and she screamed

"Ahhhhh it burns it burns" she was clawing at her chest as she screamed so i grabbed her neck and face to have her look at me

"Josette what burns?" i asked her but my touch made her hurt more and she screamed for me not to touch her.

Our touch hurts her Rheagar whined in my head in a very broken voice but now isnt the time to worry about that now is the time to worry about why it burns and why shes clawing at her chest.

I didnt even have to mindlinking anyone Justin, Alex, and Nick along with Dr. Davis. right away dr. Davis ran to my mate and put his hands on her arm pulling it from her chest. She screamed worse and everything in me said to protect her so i ripped his hands off her and demanded he not touch her. i know he needs to so he can help her but i cant stand that shes in pain and touching her makes it worse. Nick and Alex were the ones to restain me, they were only successful because i was fighting with my Instincts. she hurts when a we touch her so my instincts tell me not to let anyone touch her but logically i know the doctor needs to so he can help her. shes screaming as justin and Davis hold down her arms to the bed and im growling and struggling to get to her at some point my head Warrior and a few others come in to help restain me, ive got alex and nick holding me back by my arms my head Warrior pushing me back at my chest and another Warrior holding onto my shoulders from behind while another perpares a small dose of wolfsbane to weaken my wolf just a bit to make this easier. it didnt work because its not the one made for me as a lycan i need a special wolfsbane, and they didnt bring the right one. we have small sets of wolfs band at the ready for situations where our mate is in distress it makes the doctors job easier if they arent worried about the mate of who they are working on ripping their throat out while they work. its been like 45 minutes of Josette screaming about the burning in her chest and their touch making it worse when Nick mate Genevieve comes in with her twin sister Belladonna. Bella goes to give Justin a break and Josette is screaming less about being touched, Genevieve was going to give me the proper wolfsbane but doesnt instead she gives it to justin to give to me and goes to take davis spot and Josette isnt screaming about being touched at all which helped me calm down so the wolfsbane wasn't given. About 30 more minutes passed and Josette screaming all together stopped, Davis apologized but right now i wasnt in the mood so i simply told him to get out. everyone let go of me and i went to Josette who was already passed out. her heartrate was a bit high still but she wasnt in pain and she was breathing somewhat normally, Genevieve and Belladonna let go of her and i sat on the bed beside her running my fingers though her hair again. After about 10 minutes of me doing that Alex, Nick, Justin and the girls left the room. i didnt know what time it was or how long i had slept for but i didnt sleep at all for the rest of the night i couldnt i had to make sure my mate was alright.
