Chapter 6

986 Words
Hecta walked back to the throne room with her punch, she would wait there until they brought Drake to her. She would show him what she met about tying loose ends. She wanted to show Marcus how to deal with demons that don’t want to make things easy, and they want to make things worse. They want to make the Angels aware of what they were doing, she couldn’t have that. Drake had to die. Marcus and Daniel appeared with Drake, he struggled in their hold. Hecta looked at him for a long minute before she got to her feet. “Are you being stupid Drake?” she growled walking closer to him. “I don’t know what you mean?” he said looking at Marcus and Daniel. “I haven’t been talking to anyone.” He said trying to get out of their hold, but they were stronger than him. “Please Hecta don’t do this, I didn’t do anything.” “You gave me a reason to kill you.” She said ripping out his heart and eating it. “Good –bye Drake.” She said breaking his spine, he disappeared. She dropped the heart on the ground, it disappeared to. Blood stained her hands and her face. “Finally I’m getting it back.” She said looking down at her hands. “Alright boys now that, that is taken care of. I think Daniel and you Marcus should come with me. Victor is still up in the air, depending on if he wants to piss me off again.” She said looking away from them. “Alright so we’ll go there and check it out, and see what the Council has to offer right?” Daniel said looking at Marcus. “Yes that is exactly what we need to do.” Marcus said looking at Daniel and then at Hecta. “I still think you should stay here, but if you want to come then we should take some extra bodies to make sure you’re protected.” “I’ll arrange that if you don’t mind?” Daniel said before Hecta could answer. “Fine, have it your way for now.” She said looking at the two men. “We shall go in two days, once that is done. I think we’ll start talking about Carlos, Misty, the twins, and the Angels.” She said as it rolled off her tongue, a bitter taste formed in her mouth. “Yes of course.” Daniel said looking at Marcus. “So you want me back here, or am I welcomed to stay here for the time being?” ‘ “You can stay here, but have some respect for my place.” Marcus said looking around. “Don’t worry you won’t even know I am here, I have to leave for now I have some things I need to take care of. I will be back later on tonight, or early in the morning. I will be quiet when I come back in case you two want to sleep or are talking.” He said before he bowed and disappeared. “I think Daniel is a lot better than Victor.” Marcus said looking at Hecta. “I think we should keep him close, he might do some good for us. If you can get Victor on board, he might even do well for us too.” “Yeah maybe.” She said licking the blood off her fingers. “I still have a bad feeling about this, like this is some kind of trap.” She said licking her lips. “I need more real blood.” She said looking at him. “Go and get me some.” Marcus disappeared and reappeared with a live girl. “No please!” she whined struggling her Marcus hold. “I think you might like to have a live victim, it will help make you feel better.” He said throwing the girl into Hecta’s arms; she ate the girl in a matter of minutes. “Her blood wasn’t as pure as you thought it would be.” She said pushing the body off her. “Give that to the peasants in the dungeon, I’m sure if they are hungry enough they will eat her.” She said wiping her mouth. Marcus took the body down to the dungeon, Hecta waited for him to return. She was horny, and she needed to get some stress off of her. She felt s*x would be the next best thing; she would even work out some of her frustration. “Let’s go to the room, we need a little one on one time.” She said grabbing Marcus and pulling him around like he was a rag doll. They had s*x the remaining time the sun was down, the next morning they slept a little. “Well I can say I missed that.” Marcus said pulling her closer to him. She laid on his chest. “We should do that more often.” “We will once we know we’re not going to be the next victim of the Angels.” She said closing her eyes. “Let’s just enjoy this minute, we can talk about the future later, right now I’m enjoying this.” She said her words trailed off, and she fell back to sleep.  Marcus laid with her for a while before Dremis popped his head into the room. Marcus left Hecta there sleeping, he hoped she would sleep for a while, because she was weak and he wanted time to plan with Dremis a little to make sure Victor failed and died in the process. Marcus hated having to compete for a spot that should be his that he shouldn’t have to fight for. He had a feeling Hecta would give him General anyways, she was just trying to make it interesting.
