Aurora:
“You have to be a lot smarter than that, Aurora.” Kristoff said, wrapping his hand around my arm, stopping me from going anywhere.
“Pregnant as well, I will admit, I am amazed by the way you do things, omega.” He said, making me fight back the low growl that almost escaped me as I knew that his grip would be leaving a mark. Now would have been a good time for me to be able to fight. “Now, now, be good.”
“One more word out of you and I am going to break that face of yours so…”
“Throwing threats now, are we?” He asked, tightening his grip around my arm. “I have spent months looking for you, you are lucky to be standing in front of me with the confidence that you are in.”
“I have done nothing to press on you. Let me go and go back to living your life, if anyone asks, you haven’t seen and you haven’t found me.” I said, snapping at the man. He chuckled and shook his head at me as his eyes hardened. My heart raced against my chest, and the low laughter of mockery turned into a scowl.
“Do you really think that I am going to let you go after the fuss that you have given us?” Kristoff said, keeping his eyes on mine. I knew not to growl, I knew not to give him that advantage against me.
“You are going to regret it,” I said, and he smiled. He turned me around, pushing me back against the wall behind me before he let out a low growl, one for my ears to hear.
“You should be thankful for the fact that we are allowing you to spare your life after the stunts that you pulled. Then again, I believe that the Alpha is not going to mind us punishing you after the game that you played, would he?” He asked, digging my fingers inside my chin. I let out a low growl, and his nails scratched my skin, making me let out a low whimper of pain.
I knew that not reacting was only going to allow him to hurt me even more. He kept his eyes on mine for a moment before I kicked, knowing that it was the only option that I had. The man had to mind his limits, he was going to have to pay for what he was trying to do.
“You know for fact that…”
I kicked the man’s groin, stopping him from saying a word, taking him off guard as his eyes widened. Mikhail, the second delta, looked at me with wide eyes, but I knew to run. I was going to have to save my child, and I knew that he wasn’t going to be safe if he were to get a hold of me.
“You b***h,” Kristoff yelled as I ran, ignoring the fear that I felt. I put my hand on my stomach, right where my baby was growing inside my womb, knowing that I was going to have to keep my baby safe. I didn’t struggle throughout this time for me to just give up right now.
I ran as fast as I could, and it wasn’t until a low growl, one that had my wolf whimpering, it was the Alpha, that my heart dropped to my stomach. The man was a few steps away from me, I knew that for fact, and I knew that he was going to be more than willing to make me suffer for this.
“I am going to keep you safe, baby.” I said, whispering my words to my child.
Arms wrapped around me, stopping me from moving. My heart raced against my chest, and I squirmed against the man’s arms, it was the Alpha who was holding me tightly.
“Let me GO!” I said, trying to move from his arms.
The man tightened his arms around me, not allowing me to move, and it wasn’t until he spoke, leaning against my ear, his hot breath, hitting my chin, making my heart drop.
“You make one more move and I promise you, I am going to snap your neck.” He said, making me stop almost instantly as my wolf chose to submit.
He turned me around to face him, and I watched as he looked down at my stomach for a moment before he scowled, showing me how angry the man was.
“Be f*****g thankful for this child that is growing inside your stomach.” He said, and I went to take a step back. He tightened his arms around my arms, forcing his gaze on mine, his threat clear in his eyes. The man wanted nothing more than to burn me alive.
“Alpha, please…”
“Take her to the house, and I want her to be locked inside the room.” He said, stopping me as he looked at Kristoff whose eyes were fixed on me. The anger that I saw in the man’s eyes told me that this wasn’t something that he was going to drop. “And if one hair is harmed on her, I am going to hold you accountable.”
“Alpha…”
“Is that clear?” He asked, stopping Kristoff who clearly wanted to complain. The delta’s furious eyes met mine, and I could tell that he wanted to break my face if he could, even the Alpha could see his rage in his eyes, and the idea of being with them in one place wasn’t something that I wanted.
Both deltas looked at one another for a moment then at the Alpha. They nodded, knowing not to object. They would lose their lives if they thought of arguing against what he was telling them to do. And they knew that for fact.
“Yes, Alpha.” Kristoff said, choosing to be the first to speak.
“I will be dealing with you when I get home. And trust me, you are not going to want to do anything more stupid than you already have.”
