Chapter 7

Aurora: “The f*****g nerve that you…” “Let me go!” I snapped, trying to run away from the gammas who now kept me locked in a room. “You should have thought of that before trying to flee with the pack’s child. But then again, I doubt that you would have considered how stupid you were to be pregnant with one in the first place.” She, Liana, said, looking me in the eye. “I am curious though, who is the father? I doubt that he is of importance, I would be surprised if anyone thought of looking at you when it came to that.” I had to fight back, bursting on the woman. The idea of the baby being the Alpha’s was something that was absurd to me, I knew that for fact, but it wasn’t my fault that the Alpha was my mate. I couldn’t do anything about it. He was the one for me, and I was rejected by him when he was done with me. “Tell me, who was it? I won’t tell anyone.” She said, and I frowned as I let out a warning growl. “You can growl all you want, it is not going to change the fact that you are a low rank. One who I can crush like the fly that you are.” “Then you are going to be more than a little surprised…” “Enough,” Alpha Ezio said, stopping her from saying another word. I looked at the man as he took a step toward me. His eyes met my own before he looked down at my stomach for a moment. He nodded at Liana, and the woman took a step back, taking her leave from the room, leaving the two of us alone. I didn’t even know where my father was, I didn’t want to think of what state my mother and brothers were in either. They were going to be more than a little furious with this. “What are you doing here?” He asked, looking down at my stomach. “You have me locked up. I wasn’t here…” the man growled, stopping me from completing my sentence, taking me off guard as he did. I looked down at my feet, avoiding his eyes before he grabbed me by my chin, forcing my eyes on his. “Is this some kind of joke to you? Because if it is, I am going to be sure…” “It is not my fault that I had to carry your child. You are the one who was…” “You are going to shut your damn mouth up before I rip that tongue out of your mouth.” He said, stopping me from completing my sentence. He kept his eyes on mine, and my heart raced against my chest as I tried to think straight. “One word out of this baby being mine, and I am going to be sure that you not only regret it…” “The baby is yours, and you know for fact that hiding it is only going to be…” “The baby is going to be deemed a bastard. Since you are too far into your pregnancy for me to force you into an abortion, and I have that bit of mercy in me not to do so, I am being kind enough to allow you to keep the bastard…” “The baby is no bastard. I am your damn mate…” “A rejected one,” he said, stopping me. “A f*****g omega who is ONLY going to be rejected, and trust me, if you think that you are going to be anything with that damn attitude that you are having; I will have you know that I am going to be breaking your ego when I can. However, first I believe that you have a family who would be doing the job for me.” “You are going to let them break me without telling them the truth…” “They are going to re-educate the omega who chose to go against her mate, her pack, and Alpha to run away God knows where for the past few months.” He said, stopping me. “You have caused us a great deal of effort, and trust me, when I find out where you were, those who housed you are going to be dead.” “You are not going to kill them.” I said, and he scoffed. “You clearly don’t know me well enough to know what I am more than willing to do to those who have helped the ones who betray me.” He said, grabbing my chin with his right hand, forcing his eyes on mine. My heart raced against my chest, and the fear that I had for Natalia made my heart drop. The man killing them, they were human, for simply just helping me wasn’t something that I wanted. I wasn’t going to allow him to do so. “You can’t.” I said, making the man scoff. He let out a low laugh before pushing my face to the side, making my heart drop to my stomach as I saw the seriousness in his eyes. An expression that I knew held more anger and greed on his face. “I will, and as a small reward, I am going to bring you their heads as a present.” He said, letting my face go. He turned to the door as I caught my parents’ scent. My eyes met my mother’s first, I didn’t have it in me to look at my father. I couldn’t face him if I tried to do so. “But first, I am going to leave you to deal with your parents. I have a feeling that they have a lot to tell you.” He took a step back and looked at my father for a moment. Both men nodded before the Alpha walked out, leaving us alone in the dark room for a moment before a low, threatening growl made shudders run down my spine. “I am going to ask my questions once, and trust me when I tell you, you are not going to want me to repeat them again, Aurora…”
