Chapter Six: Let's Do Business.

Later that night...

At Kenzo's apartment

Kenzo's have been pacing back and forth while he keeps on glancing at his wristwatch.

It's 5 minutes before midnight. Kara's going to arrive at any moment.

When he finally realized that he has this huge attraction towards Kara, he has been acting so weird. He got to admit that Kara turned her world upside down, and he doesn't know what to do next...

Eversince he started going to school, he's always keeping himself busy on reading books and doing complex experiments..

And now, he doesn't have any idea how to handle his feelings towards Kara...

Kenzo almost had a heart attack when he heard someone knocking at the door. He knows that it was Kara.

"Oh no, here we go again..." Kenzo groaned inwardly. He can feel his heart starts beating again, in which it makes him harder to breathe .His hands are becoming clammy again, and he feels weak on his knees...

"Just chill, man. Be normal and casual. You can do it." Kenzo reassures himself.

He took a deep, long calming breath, and he opened the door afterwards.

He saw Kara frowning at her while she's holding two paperbags. She quickly walked inside his apartment.

"Why did it took you so long to open the door?" Kara asked him rightaway.

"Uh, sorry. I was actually checking something on my laptop..." Kenzo decided to lie, and he felt guilty lying to Kara.

Kara roamed her eyes around Kenzo's apartment. Books were neatly piled up and the furniture looks so simple. And boring. But the positive side is, everything seems to be organized. And it was obvious that Kenzo's a certified neat freak.

"---So, what are all these?" she heard Kenzo's voice again. She saw her looking at the paperbags.

“Cupcakes. Let's talk about business now. Where's your kitchen?" Kara quickly asked him.

"Here, this way." Kenzo replied. He walked towards his medium-sized kitchen, while Kara's walking behind him.

Kara started bringing out the cupcakes, which was all in different colors. It all looks delectable.

"Uh... Are we going to have a tea party?" Kenzo curiously asked again.

"Of course not, silly! We're going to have a taste test tonight. Have a taste of these cupcakes and tell me what you think about the." Kara explained, while giving a piece of cupcake to Kenzo.

Kenzo ate the red velvet cupcake first, and he tried tasting it...

"So... What do you think?" Kara excitedly questioned Kenzo.

"Whoa! It tastes really good!" Kenzo commented after eating one whole cupcake.

He's not really fond of sweets, but Kara's cupcake might turn him into a sweet tooth guy...

"Of course, baking cupcake is my specialty, and I'm confident with my baking skills!" Kara proudly stated.

"Really? That's a surprise..." Kenzo unbelievabke reaponded.

"Wait,are you being sarcastic? I know how to bake! I learned how to bake when I had to shoot a movie, which is all about baking. Some famous baker taught me how to bake and eventhough that movie project was already over, I just kept on baking until it became my hobby." Kara relayed her baking history to Kenzo.

"It's really delicious... Tell me, why did you bring all these cupcakes? I thought we're going to brainstorm for our start up business projects in Economics?" Kenzo curiously asked her.

Before Kara answers Kenzo, she raised her hand and swipes the icing off from his lips.

She then grabbed a tissue and wiped the icing from her fingertip.

"That's the reason why I made these cupcakes. I was thinking of setting up a very small bakeshop just close to the University." Kara started explaining her plan.

Meanwhile, Kenzo was looking at Kara as if he's under a trance. He can still feel her fingertip on his lips, and he felt that intense electricity running through his body.

"Kenzo? Are you listening to me?" Kara asked, while frowning at Kenzo.

Kenzo cleared his throat as he tried to regain his composure. Man, Kara's presence is making him crazy!

At the same time, Kara curiously frowned when Kenzo went into a "robot" mode and he just started walking away, and locked himself in the bathroom.

Kara just helplessy frowned. She thought it's normal for Kenzo to act strange, and she's getting used to it She just went back on writing something on her notes, thinking about their business prospect for their Economics Class...

After a few minutes.

Kenzo took a deep breath as he was able to calm his "member." It's hard to divert his attention to something else whenever he has a face to face encounter with Kara.

Kara's like a drug who works wonders in his brain, and in the end, it would send his whole body into a frenzy.

He thought of doing Math equations on his head so that he could take Kara off his mind and calm his whole body. He wanted to forget the way Kara swipes the cream off his mouth and it was very ---- sensual...

He shook his head wildly, as if he's shaking off his thoughts. When he was able to calm himself and his "member-down-there," he finally decided to come out from the bathroom.

He was surprised to see Kara sleeping at the sofa. She looks really exhausted, and it's obvious that she feel into a deep, deep sleep.

Kenzo slowly walked to his room and grabbed a blanket. He then went back to Kara, and he carefully covered her with a blanket.

"Goodnight, Kara." Kenzo gently whispered at her.

Careful not to make any noise, he walked towards the table and read Kara's notes. Kenzo then decided to make a computations of everything that they need to use as a capital to start with their start up cupcake business for their school project...

The next morning...

Kenzo slowly opened his eyes. He was surprised to see that the sun was already up. He quickly glanced at the sofa were Kara was sleeping, but it was already empty. Kara was already gone. He suddenly felt sad, not seeing Kara early in the morning. He groaned in frustration when he realized that it was already 9 in the morning, and he needs to attend his first class at 9:30!

He quickly got up, and went straight to the bathroom to take a shower...
