Chapter Seven: The Closer I get to You.

Kara and Jessica are on their way to University, as usual. Kara's going to shoot the fifth episode of her reality show...
Jessica saw Kara yawning, almost non-stop.
"Were you able to sleep last night, Kara?" she asked.
Kara was taken back after hearing Jessica's question. He couldn't just tell her that he slept in Kenzo's apartment last night.
Well, they didn't do anything wrong last night. She just wanted to talk to him about their Economics Project and that was it...
She doesn't want Jessica to know about it because she will bombard her with million questions. And she doesn't want to entertain her questions, as she's already tired balancing her time being an actress and being a student...
Fortunately, she was able to get home to her apartment just in time, before Jessica came to pick her up early in the morning...
"Must be my insomnia ..I don't want to take any sleeping pills because I don't want to be dependent on it." Kara didn't have any choice but to lie to her Manager and bestfriend.
"It doesn't matter, you can sleep in between breaks." Jessica stated.
"Yes, I'll do that." Kara simply answered.
After a few minutes, their van entered the University grounds. Once she stepped out from her vehicle, her eyes instantly searched for Kenzo. She needs ask him not to say anything about her staying at his apartment or else, she'll be involvee in another scandal again...
She saw Kenzo talking to their Director.
She simply approached them while wearing her signature million-dollar smile...
"Good morning, Mr. Director! Morning, Kenzo!" Kara chirped at them.
"Morning, Kara. You're just in time. I was just talking to Kenzo, and I'm convincing him to become a regular cast at the reality show." the Director informed her, while smiling.
"I think that's a good idea!" she agreed rightaway. She needs Kenzo for their final project. Being with this genius guy can help her pass all the subjects, and she has a bigger chance to graduate from Waldorf University...
It's like hitting two birds in one stone.
"But I'm not really good with cameras---!" Kenzo wasn't able to finish his sentence when Kara suddenly grabbed his hand finished what he was supposed to say when Kara suddenly grabbed his hands.
"Can I have a minute with Kenzo? I just need to talk to him about school stuff." Kara interjected.
"Oh, okay. But you guys have to get ready in 5 minutes." the Director reminded them.
Once the Director has left, Kara confronted Kenzo again.
"Look, Kenzo... Don't tell anyone that I went to your apartment last night. Don't tell my Personal Assistant, my manager, and not even a soul. Is that clear?" she firmly stated.
"Okay." Kenzo's timidly responded.
"Good. I'm expecting you to keep your promise..." once Kara made sure that everything's clear between her and Kenzo, she started walking away to get ready for their shoot.
Kenzo's eyes followed Kara. He then looked at his hand.
She couldn't believe that Kara held her hand. It was his very first time to hold hands with a gorgeous woman eversince he hit puberty. He can still smell the lingering scent of Kara's cherry-blossom hand lotion on his hand...

They are finally starting their taping for their fifth episode.
Their first class for the day was Physical Education. They are in the open field for their volleyball drill. While they were waiting for their instructor, Kara was already complaining.
"It's scorching hot here! I just had a session with my Dermatologist three days ago, and now I'm melting under the sun! Can I back out from this PE Class?" Kara whines non-stop.
Jessica stood near Kara and she gave her a tissue.
"No way, Kara. That would be really unfair to all your classmates." she firmly responded.
"Well, you've got a point there. But can't I change into something more fashionable? I mean, look at this oversized shirt and ugly jogging pants! It makes me look like a loser!" Kara complained again.
"Stop being a spoiled brat, Kara! This is the University's officia PE uniform, so you have to wear it. Just go with the flow and stop complaining!" Jessica reprimanded Kara
Kara decided to shut her mouth. Jessica's always right. If someone will hear them, they will surely think that she has the "I-am-a-superstar" syndrome, and it could be bad for her image.
"The cameras will start rolling in a few minutes. Let's get ready!" the Director called out.
His eyes searched for Kenzo. He saw it under the tree, while it was busy reading a thick book. She cringed at the sight of him. Kenzo is undeniably oozing with geekiness.
He walked towards Kenzo to tell him that their shooting is about to begin.
"Really? Do you really have to read a book at a time like this?"
Kenzo raised his eyes from the book he's reading when he heard that familiar voice. He almost forgot how to breathe when he saw Kara staring back at him.
"--- Kenzo! Did you hear what I said?"
He suddenly woke up as if he's in a trance. He tried his very best to calm himself.
"S-Sorry, what did you say again?"
"The shooting's about to start. Let's go to the field." Kara informed him.
"Okay." Kenzo's shortly answered.
Once Kara and Kenzo finally reached the field, everyone got ready as well.
"Camera rolling in 3,2,1!" the Director shouted.
Kara automatically changed her facial expression when she saw the red light from the cameras. It means that the shoot has started...
Their PE instructor, Mr. Dave Lee started talking infront of them.
Now, the main point is to start working on your muscles. So we're going to play volleyball today!" he happily announced to everyone.
All of the students cried in protest after hearing the announcement.
"There's no use complaining, guys. Anyway, I'll divide you into 2 teams. And I want you to listen carefully... Your teamwork is very important for this volleyball match. Your grades depends on how you perform as a group.
"What do you mean, Sir?" Victoria's started butting in.
Kara rolled her eyes heavenward when she heard Victoria's voice. It's obvious that she is trying to steal attention from her very own reality show...
