Chapter 2 training camp

They almost missed it because the trees and bushes hide the cottage so well that you almost think that its part of the nature. Which was a great camouflage technique. Mason wanted them to meet his mate, so he brought them to his yard and to his surprise his mate came and bowed to the twins.

And the twins once again got the same feeling as they did with Mason. Which meant that Masons mate was there second Guardian. They asked him to rise. And he did.

“Nice to meet you, I’m Masons mate Kai and I’m an angel.”

“Nice to meet you, Kai. My name is Jace and the one on my right is my older twin, Jessie. And like Mason you are one of our guardians. Do you know anything about that?”

“Nice meeting you, my highnesses. Yes, I have always known that I would be a guarding because my ancestor was one of the first guardians that ever existed. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you Mason, but I couldn’t it was not my secret to tell. And we can’t tell anyone either.”

“Really. I agree that we can’t tell anyone. We still must find the others.” Said Jessie.

“Yes, I also agree. And its okey Kai.” Said Mason.

They talked for a while and then Mason and Kai told them to follow them to camp because maybe the others are in the camp or something. Jessie and Jace followed them through the woods and the camp when they had arrived at the camp someone walked to the twins and just like Kai went down on the knee and bowed down. They told her to rise, and she did.

“Nice to meet you, your highnesses. My name is Kaida and I’m Kai`s older sister.”

“Nice to meet you, Kaida. My name is Jessie and the one on my left in Jace my younger twin brother. I assume you know that you’re our guardian just like Mason and Kai?”

“Yes, my kings, I know that I’m one of your guardians.”

They talked with Kaida for a couple more minutes than they led the twins to tents where they would sleep except that they will sleep in the cottage next to Kai and mason`s home. Because like they said no one can know about them yet. The twins need to get stronger first and only their guardians can make that happen. Which means that their priority right now is to find the others so that they can get stronger, so until then they will train with Mason, Kai and Kaida for the time being. Mason will help them train in their human and feline forms while they will only train using their witch powers with Kai and Kaida. But right now, they are going to get their things packed up in their cottage and rest and then tomorrow at sunrise their hard training will begin.

Jessies alarm clock went off and he woke up and got dressed then he walked over to his younger brother’s room and woke him up. He turned off his alarm clock. Then he walked out of his brother’s room and walked to the kitchen and made some toast with fried eggs, bacon and sausages and put the food on two plates and put them down on the kitchen table and then poured some juice in two mugs and then when he put the knife and forks down on the table beside the two plates his brother walked into the kitchen. Then they sat down next to each other and ate their breakfast. After they were done, they put away their dishes in the dishwasher and closed it. Then they walked out of the kitchen and walked to the hallway and put their training shoes on and walked out of the door to mason’s yard. When they got there, they saw Mason standing beside a big tree which meant that he had been waiting for them for a while.

When Mason saw them, he walked away from the tree and walked to them and then told them the first thing they will begin with this instance. He looked at them with a cold and serious look, gone was the laid back and talkative person they talked to yesterday.

“You are going to obey and do exactly as I say for the rest of your training. Understood?”

“Yes Sir” they said.

“Good. Now run zig zag between the trees in both human and panther form but when in human form you are not allowed to use the strength or speed from your panther. Run 20 laps and be back in 30 minutes. And every lap is 1 km. Now go.”

“Yes sir”

And then their gruesome training began. They began to run as fast as they could while zig zagging between the tress and shifted to their panther form and then ran 10 laps which took them 10 minutes. Then they shifted back and ran the rest of the laps in their human form. When they were back on the yard, they were 2 minutes late which didn’t make Mason very happy but compared to his men’s first training pass the twins were better. They took 3 minutes break and then the break was over, and their training continued.

“You did a good job with your first task. Now I wonder how good you are at this one. You are going to climb and jump from tree to tree while using both panther and human form but the same conditions as the last training applies here too. While in human form you are forbidden to use your panther strength and speed. Understood?”

“Yes sir” they said.

“Good. You are going to do 15 laps of this and like before every lap is 1 km each back and forth. You got 20 minutes to finish those laps. Now go”

“Yes sir”

The twins started to climb the tree in human form and then jumped from tree to tree and finished 9 laps in human form and then while jumping to a tree they shifted to their panther in mid-air and then finished the rest of the laps and this time they were back to Mason in 15 minutes. This surprised Mason because even his Men haven’t been able to do that at their first day. Which meant that the twins had been training by themselves in the jungle back home. He was able to tell duo to their moves and the way they jumped and climbed and shifting with so much ease. Which made him impressed by how much they wanted to get stronger. He could see the potential in them. And with the right training they would get stronger soon. Mason praised them and told them to rest for a bit and stretch for an hour. Their break was over, and their training began again. They stood up facing Mason waiting for their next training task.

“Next you will care two buckets of stones while running from here to the tents in the camp and then back here. You have 20 minutes to finish. And this task will only be in human form, and you are not allowed to use magic or speed and strength from your panther. Now go”

“Yes sir”

Then they took their buckets one bucket and started running towards the tents on the camping ground. They ran like their life depended on it and halfway there Jace got tired and had to stop for a minute. He put down the buckets and laid down on the ground. And after a minutes Jessie also stopped to rest and after 2 minutes the began to run again. They ran to the tents and then back to the yard. This time they were 4 minutes late. And as soon as they finished, they put down the buckets on the ground and laid down on the ground to take a breath. And once again Mason realized that they were stronger than his men but not strong enough. He gave them a few minutes to rest and when they got there breathing under control their training continued. And this time their last task will be harder and tougher to complete in time. They stood up in a meter away from Mason and looked at him waiting for their next task. They got one bag each from Mason with equipment.

“This is your last task, and it will be the hardest and toughest training you have done today. Even my own men failed to finish this task in the beginning and some of them still does. Are you ready for this?”

“Interesting. Challenge accepted. Yes sir” the twins said.

“Alright then. This time you must climb over the wall to the other side and back and you have 15 minutes to finish. No magic and panther strength or speed is allowed. And when you have climbed the wall to the other side you have to climb it again and then run here. Like I said you have fifteen minutes to complete this. Ready go.”

“Yes sir”

Mason never showed them the wall which was a part of his test to see if they could find it themselves and how good their senses are. They ran to the camping ground where the tents are and when they were there, they could see the wall. They walked to the wall and looked at it closely. The wall was likely to be around 12 meters tall. They put the bag down on the ground and opened it and saw that there were climbing equipment in the bag. They put the equipment on etc. Then they began to climb the wall. After they had made it over to the other side, they had to hurry up, so they climbed faster this time and then when they were back on the side of the camp, they took down everything and put it back in the bag then they started to run towards the yard. And to their surprise Kai and Kaida also stood there. When they were 2 meters away from Mason, they put down the bags and laid on the ground trying to get their breathing under control. They were exactly on time and Mason and the others were impressed that the twins made it. But that also made them proud. It was finally its lunch time, and they could rest until 15.00. Mason praised them and so did the other two. They got up from the ground and walked to eat dinner with the others. the others followed them back to their cottage and then the twins walked inside and showed them where the kitchen is and then the twins went to their own bedrooms to take a quick shower. After a few minutes they got dressed then helped the other to make dinner in the kitchen. After the dinner was ready, they made the table and put the forks and knifes on the table and took some drinks and put them in the middle of the table. Then they put the food down on the table and sat down on the chairs around the table. They stated to eat and after they were done, they began to wash the dishes. After they had washed the dishes, they walked out of the kitchen and went to the living room and sat down on the coach and took the tv control and watched Wednesday on Netflix. The others found the series interesting to and got obsessed with it. After 3 episodes of Wednesday, it was time to train which both Kaida and Kai started to want to skip to keep watching the series. But they both knew better then skipping training. They walked out of the cabin and went a few meters a head so that they could train a bit far away so that they won’t destroy it. Kai and Kaida will use their angel powers and stop them the twins will need to use their witch side to stop them. They trained close combat while using their powers and then they trained combat on distance. They got surprised at how fast the twins cast a counter spell and then attacked. It was amazing how fast the twins were able to adjust to their new environment so fast. They had only been here for two days, and they learnt how to adjust this fast were just amazing and the siblings got amazed and proud of their kings. In that moment they knew that they would follow their kings to the end of the world. They couldn’t wait to see how much they would grow and how they would rule their pride. They trained for three hours then they decided that it was enough training for one day. 19.00 pm they went back to the cottage/cabin where they lived for the time being. The twins loved training and learning new things but what they love the most is a good fight and strong opponents. They were very proud of how strong their guardians were and knew that they would follow them back home eventually. They couldn’t wait to meet the other guardians. They went inside their cottage and then they took a quick shower after that they got dressed and went inside the living room to watch the news. and then when they talked about the weather the twins turned off the tv and went to the kitchen to cook supper. After they had eaten supper, they went outside and walked inside the forest. They could feel the wind blowing in their face and hair, they could hear the leaves rustle and it was exactly at those days when the wind was strong, and they were surrounded by nature that they felt at peace the most. Especially their panther. They shifted to their panthers and climbed up a tree each were they chose a branch and then they laid down in their panther form on the branch and watched the stars. After a while they fell asleep. Early that morning they woke up to a commotion. They sighed and stretched their bodies only for them to realize that they were still in their panther form and were still lying on the branch upside the tree. They looked down and saw their guardians running all over the place in a panic looking for them, they smirked and snorted a little and after a few minutes they decided to jump down the tree. When they had jumped down from the tree, then they shifted and walked back to their cottage and took a shower and then they got dressed. After they had gotten dressed, they walked outside to find their Guardians running in circles and the twins finally sat down on the ground at the grass and full on laughed at how stupid they looked. When their guardians heard that laughing, they turned their heads in the direction they heard the laughing from. And when they saw the twins sitting on ground laughing their asses off with tears in their eyes, they just stood their looking at them like they had gone insane. They had finally done it. They made their three guardians- Mason, Kai and Kaida believe that they had went mad from all their training and change of environment. After the twins had calmed down after laughing like crazy, they walked inside their cottage and made some food.

Three weeks later. Mason was feeling proud but also a little sad because the twins could now finish their training with him in 2 hours. And Kai and Kaida had to come up with something else to teach the twins except using their witch side in combat. They could hit back and defend themselves. They had no weaknesses or openings in their fighting style. They must teach them to use their witch powers to detect their enemies and know how many they are without seeing them up close, so they still have things to teach them. And then hopefully they get a break if the other guardians shows up.
