When she was living, she was of pure royal ancient Lycan blood and was the queen and her mate was the king. She had one brown eye and one green eye back then. She got betrayed by her own sister who later killed both her and her mate but before she could touch her children Selene agreed to become the next moon goddess in exchange for hiding her sons. The moon goddess back then agreed to hide and place Selene’s sons somewhere safe. After she took her last breath, she became the goddess and was reunited with her beloved mate Alessandro.
