Chapter 3 training camp pt 2

Jessie Pov.

Who knows how many guardians we have besides the ones we have already met. I just hope that they will show up soon so that we can get stronger and then return home. And then if we lucky we might find our mate. I wonder if our mate will accept us after knowing about our pride and that we are the kings. I just hope he won’t run off when he finds out. Yes, it’s a male. We might not openly admit it to others and might feel ashamed of ourselves but that doesn’t mean that we won’t accept our mate because we will. We won’t go against the goddess choice. But I know that we will treat our mate fairly and like a king. Our mate is our equal and that is final. I just hope our mate won’t be disgusted by us being males. I mean what if our mate isn’t bi or gay what are we going to do then? Even though I have this feeling in my gut that our mate wont care about it I can’t help but feel a little insecure and scared. Its rare for mates to reject each other it happens though but it has never happened to anyone in our pride. I can’t imagine how disappointed our parents will be in us if we ever rejected our mate and of course we will never do that as long as our mate isn’t some psycho killer or something then we may reconsider rejecting them. but hopefully they are a kind and understanding person that will love us as we are. The only thing we are scared of is to tell our parents that we are gay and that our mate or mates are going to be male/males.

Jace POV

I hope we meet our other guardians soon so that we can return back home. I miss mums cooking but most of all I miss home. I’m sure my twin feels the same as I do. The only thing that scares me more than anything is to find our mate or mates because they are going to be a male and we haven’t even come out of the closet to our parents yet so how are we going to explain this to them when we can meet our mate or mates anytime. I kept looking at my bedroom door waiting for my dear brother to come and wake me up but no not today I’m going to be awake when he comes. Fifteen minutes later my brother finally came to wake me but was shocked to see that I was already awake. I got up and got ready for the day and so did my brother. Afterwards we walked outside in our combat clothes that we sometimes used for training.

Jessie and Jace Pov

When we got outside mason already stood there waiting for us. By the look in his eyes, we knew that he had come up with another hellish training.

“Hi there boys.” Said Mason.

“Hi sir” we said.

“You are going to run 10 km in this forest and then climb over the wall four times and then you are going to crawl all the way back here. You got 2 hours to finish this. Now go.” Said mason.

“Yes Sir” we said.

Then we used our speed and ran. When we arrived at the wall, we began our hellish training and climbed the wall four times and then crawled all the way back to the field where mason where standing. We were one hour late which means that we had to run 20 km without using our speed which kind of sucked but whatever. After one week of this hellish training, we noticed that once again we had grown much stronger and more muscular. Then as we were walking with mason to the market, we felt the guardian bond and right in front of us stood a tall muscular, handsome man.

“Forgive me, my kings for now bowing earlier. My name is Drake, and I will be at your service.” Said drake as he went down on one knee bowing to them while showing his neck which showed them respect and submission.

“It`s alright Drake. You can stand now. This is mason our other guardian. You are the fourth guardian.” Said the twins.

Drake followed us to the market and after we got what we needed we walked back to the camp which to our surprise had another cabin next to ours. It wasn’t there before which meant that mason must have informed Michael. After packing up the stuff we bought drake decided that our training would begin now. He told us to sprint back and forth while carrying two heavy rocks in our arms. He told us to do 30 laps in one hour. Which meant we had gotten another hellish trainer to put us through hell with their training. We don’t mind training on the contrary we love it the harder the task the better. The training will only make us stronger and that will be a good thing in the future. We can’t protect our people if we don’t grow stronger. A king must be strong and show great leadership but also be fair just like our dad. We finished the laps fifteen minutes to late and had to do another ten laps as a punishment. After we were done Drake told us that the rest of our training will begin at sunrise. We walked to our cabin and took a shower then we ate some barbeque with our four guardians. We talked and joked around like we had known each other for years. The next day we did the same training as yesterday with Drake and then afterwards both Drake and Mason decided to train us together in combat. We got to know yesterday that Drake was a high-ranking black dragon that could use both fire and ice which he would teach us to use and learn to defend ourselves against it. As we have our witch side we can use the elements to cast spells. Right now, we have only discovered that we can use shadow magic and lightening which is pretty good, but we still need to master the others too. Fire and ice are very rare among witches. Most witches can’t use any of the four basic elements like earth, fire, water, and air. And shadow magic is very rare you can’t learn this because you must be born with it and that goes for the four elements too. Either you must be blessed by the gods to use it, or you are born with it. Only a few powerful witches can learn to use the elements, but they must sacrifice something in return.

Anyways for now we will do the training Drake tells us to do as we need to get stronger and that would only work by having our guardians train us. As Drake is a black dragon that can use two of the elements, we are sure that he is the one to teach us how to use it or see if we can use it but to do that, we need to train harder because it takes a lot of control, concentration, and energy to use it without going out of control. Drake worked us to the bone with his harsh training. Then one week later when we were resting by the lake after training to hold our breath under the water a tall man stood by the rocks a few meters away from us. And the closer he got to us we felt the bond once again. This meant that we had found our fifth guardian. The man walked up to us and as Drake did when we met, he went down on one knee and bowed while showing his neck.

“ My kings, I’m of your service. My name is Drayce.”

“Nice to meet you, Drayce. You can stand now. My name is Jessie and to my right is my twin brother Jace.”

Drayce then stood up and bowed to us. Then to our surprise Drake showed up and smiled at Drayce. And walked towards him and held his waist with one hand while looking at us with a smile. We smiled wide in understanding. It turned out that our fifth guardian was Drakes mate. which means that Drayce must be a dragon. Drayce had blue eyes and black shoulder-length hair. He also has tattoos on his arms and wears black clothes. He is very tall and muscular. They look like they were made for each other as they both look very handsome. Not to brag but we look much better than them when it comes to facials and muscles.
