29. Books

Everyone starts screaming and running towards me. "PRINCESS."

"PRINCESS LOOK HERE."

Someone grabs me so fast, and I get yanked away from them.

"PRINCESS."

"I'VE GOT HER."

I hear alarms go off.

Someone rips one of my gloves off, and I get knocked to the ground.

Then my shoes are ripped off.

"PRINCESS LOOK."

"IS IT REALLY HER?"

"PRINCESS."

Tre comes out of nowhere with his sword up and grabs me. He stands me up and holds on.

"Baby Dipak is going to throw you in the air. You have to turn to a dragon once you get up there."

"ok."

Someone tries to grab my veil, and they get my hair instead. I scream so loud. I see Tre bring his sword down and the pain stops.

"PRINCESS OVER HERE!"

"f**k THIS." Dipak comes over throwing people out of his way. His eyes are full red.

"PRINCESS."

He grabs me and throws me straight into the air.

I get up quite far and I see Kane floating. He's moving so he's under me. Probably to catch me if I don't get the dragon part right.

I turn to a dragon though. Then I watch the chaos. They are all still screaming for me.

Daddy is a dragon too. He's floating over Dipak and Tre. They seem to be fine though. Dracul, Frode, and Gunner are all with them now. There are guards everywhere.

Kane hits my wing to get my attention. Then he pushes me towards the castle. I get the hint and fly back with him.

We land on the roof and change back right away. I rip the veil off and start to cry. I run to him and hug him. "Someone pulled my hair."

He stands there hugging me and rubbing my head. "You're ok."

"It really hurt though."

"I know. I heard you scream. Tre dealt with it quickly though."

"They pushed me down too."

"Yea but the boys got you out of there. That's the part that matters."

"Do you think he'll use dragon power to throw me in the river now?"

Kane starts laughing. "She's fine."

I turn to see who he's talking to. Tre, Dipak, and daddy are all standing there.

Tre and Dipak both grab onto me. Tre rubs my head. "How is your head. You screamed so loud. It scared me."

Dipak is about to cry. "I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have been seen there with you. It's my fault. Are you ok?"

They both fling me in a circle. Then hug me at the same time.

"Tell them what you asked before they got here."

"Will you use dragon power to throw me in the river?"

All 4 of them crack up laughing.

Momma comes up. "I'm glad we're all happy now. But I need the 3 of you now. Trying to get these done."

"Fine momma."

We sit around Dipaks old conference table this time. I sit between momma and Asa so I can see the papers.

Momma gives a speech. After 5 minutes, Tre leaves and brings in an entire plate of grapes for me. I sit there eating them happily.

"HAVE YOU HEARD 1 WORD I SAID HYPATIA NADINE?"

"Yes momma." Both boys sit back and smile.

"Child you are a queen. You have to be able to pay attention."

Asa shakes her head. "We're getting off topic."

"PAY ATTENTION." She starts up again. "You are not permitted to get physical with either of them on these vacations. You will have 16 guards on you to make sure this doesn't happen."

Dipak smirks at me and winks. Tre puts his head down and rubs his eyes.

I bust out laughing.

Asa rubs her eyes. "What and be honest."

I point at Tre. "Me and that man have been evading and hiding from guards our entire lives, just so we could be alone. The only thing you have done is annoy him. Because now he won't get to see as much of Egypt as he wanted because he will be ditching guards all the time. And I really don't care how many you send. He will outsmart them. They have no chance against him. And if we're hiding from guards to get some alone time, what do you think we will be doing?" I hear Tre try not to laugh.

"She's right Aurelia. They always did find away around all the guards."

"Yea, they always did." Momma throws down her pen.

I point at Dipak. He's still smirking. "Do you see that smirk?" They both nod. "The only thing you have done is given him a challenge. Defeat or outsmart the guards and he gets the prize. I am the prize. And that smirk is telling me he already has 87 plans on how to win the challenge and get his prize." He starts laughing. "He will not fail when it comes to me, and he loves a good challenge."

Momma throws down the pen again. "How are we going to do this Asa?"

She shrugs her shoulders.

I smile at momma. "You have to talk to them. 1 at a time. You have to be completely honest as to why you want it this way. It's the only way it will work. They have to understand why they are doing something. I mean, they are both kings. You know how well kings follow orders."

"Do you really think that would work?" I think she's trying to be sarcastic.

"Yes. Tre is willing to do about anything to fix us. If you tell him something will help, he will more than likely not have a problem with it. And Dipak, well he really wants to see China. But he also wants us to have a strong relationship. So, talk to them."

Momma laughs. "Well you saved us a lot of money. Now we don't have to give all those guards rooms." I chuckle a bit at that.

Asa looks at her. "So who are we sending? We can't send them completely alone."

Momma shrugs her shoulders. "They need to be guarded all of them."

"MARY!"

She comes in after a minute and stares at me.

"How do you feel about Egypt and China?"

"Make Kane go. He's your slave. You can do that."

"That's actually a good idea, Mary. But I was asking you. I may need help there anyway. And you are my guardian."

She thinks about it for a minute. "At least it's not cold. I will go."

"You can't let them have sex."

"Yea I'm not getting in the way of that."

She leaves and Kane comes in.

I smile. "How do you feel about going to China and Egypt with us. Would you go?"

"Do you want me to go?"

"Momma says we need someone to go. Do you want to go?"

Kane goes to open his mouth again and Tre yells "NO. We're not doing that right now. Kane, you are going to Egypt and China. To help make sure she stays safe."

"Ok."

"And you can't let them have sex."

Kane laughs. "Yea I'm not going to do that." He turns around and walks back out.

"You're going to have to talk to them 1 on 1 and make sure they understand why you want it this way." I glanced at the room papers. "And even putting us in separate rooms is a waste of money."

"Why?"

"Boys are warm momma." I sigh. "If you get them to accept separate rooms, I will sleep in my own room. But honestly, it's a waste of money. Sleep and s*x are not the same thing. And I like to be warm and safe."

"I think she's right. We may have to do it this way."

Momma nods.

"Have you 2 actually planned out any part of the vacation or were you just trying to figure out how to prevent s*x all day?"

Asa starts grumbling and says something under her breath.

Momma shakes her head. "Well when you put it that way..."

"Talk to them. 1 on 1 please. The relationships I have with them are extremely different and what will work for 1 will not work for the other. Either you can talk them into your way or you can't. But no amount of guards will stop anything. And I really want to see both of these places. So please plan them."

"You're right my baby. We'll explain it to them. Take Tre with you. We will start with the one who likes a good challenge."

I bust out laughing. "Are you going to challenge him to not have s*x with me?"

Asa spits out her drink. "Only if it comes to that."

Tre leads me to his office. The door is all fixed now. "We can start on the paperwork for the store. I'm interested to see how it did as well."

"Are you ok sharing a room with me, Tre? I never even asked you. Not like it matters really. If you're not, you can tell them to keep us in separate rooms."

He leans back on his desk. "No way in hell your sleeping anywhere but beside me baby. I know you're safe when you're in my arms. I wouldn't be able to sleep at all if I wasn't sure you were safe."

That makes me smile. I feel something in my chest, but it wasn't like anything connected, or maybe it was. I don't know. He picks me up and sits me on his desk then starts giving me his deep gentle kisses.

"Did you feel that?"

"Yea, something connected baby. I don't know what it was. But I sure as hell want more of that." He gives me another kiss and someone knocks on the door.

He grumbles a bit and I get off his desk. I grab the papers and move to the conference table while he yells, "Enter."

Frode hands him a bunch of papers and leaves.

He sits beside me at the table. "Your store made 17k during the 30 days." I jump up and start jumping up and down. "No." I sit back down sad. "8k was forwarded from the castle. To get your start up supplies and the building. We have to pay that back."

"So I get 9k. Still not bad."

He smiles. "Not quite. You have to buy your own supplies for the next 30 days. The castle gave you 3k. 1k for each scent. So here you see your inventory list. This is what you have left right now. You can see that the lavender scent did not do as well as the other 2. You still have over 50% of it left. So I would not add anything to that one for this period. Do you get that?"

"Yea I understand that."

"Ok now the original scent sold out. So I would say resupply that one with 1.5k for the period. Maybe it won't run out this month." I nod. "Now the last one. You have a little bit left. So I could resupply with 1k. Do the same amount again. Good. So you'll need 2.5k for supplies for the coming period. You had 9k so take another 2.5k out of it."

"6.5k left."

"Perfect, now you assign the castle it's 10%"

"650."

Someone knocks and he yells "Enter."

"Good job. So you made 5,850 for the period."

I stare at him with tears in my eyes. "And it's mine?"

"It's all yours baby. You did that."

I hug him as tight as I can. "I did it."

He rubs my back. "Yes you did."

Momma says, "What did you do?"

I smile at her, Asa, Dipak, and Frode. "I made money with my store momma."

"Nice my child. How much?"

"Almost 6k momma."

Frode nods. "Are you giving the castle any of that as p*****t for what she owes?"

Tre smirks. "Actually the 6k is after full p*****t back to the castle, buying the next supplies, and assigning our 10%."

Frodes' mouth hits the ground. "She paid everything back and still made 6k?"

"It's 5.8 but yes it's close."

Frode sits down in my old seat. "I'm checking everything."

Tre kisses me on the head. "I'm going to go over it again with him."

"But we need you for the.."

"Give me 20 minutes. I wanted to recheck it."

I watch Tre and Frode throwing papers around. "I think we all just got kicked out."

Asa takes a deep breath. "TRE WE WILL BE IN DIPAK'S OFFICE WHEN YOU ARE DONE."

He gives her a dirty look.

She smiles. "When he is focused like that, he blocks everything out. You have to yell. We could actually stay, he would never know any of us are here."

I start laughing and he looks at me. "Sorry, but that was funny."

"What was?"

I start laughing again. "Keep going, it's fine."

"Well, apparently he notices you. But the rest of us are free to stay."

"Figures."

Dipak takes my hand and leads me out.

"So do we have separate rooms on the vacation sir?"

He starts laughing and pushes me up against a door. "f**k no baby." He gives me one of his gentle kisses.

"Will we be having s*x?"

He kisses my marking spot. "Tonight yes. But I'll tell you what they said later. We can decide that together." He kisses me again and I pull his hair.

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!"

Gunner and Kane are standing over us. Dipak is climbing off me.

Gunner yells, "WHY MY DOOR?"

Momma yells from the hallway. "WHAT IS SO HARD TO FIGURE OUT ABOUT DOORS? AND IT'S BOTH OF THEM ASA."

Dipak helps me up. "Checking door strength Gunner."

Kane busts out laughing.

Dipak grabs me. "This one failed. We're going to go anywhere else."

I laugh as he pulls me down the hallway.
