36. Prince Tye Ashton Yanin

I go to my place and dress like a queen for dinner. I was a commoner for to long today. I get really fancy with 1 of my short little dresses.

A guard pokes his head in. "Princess Hypatia Nadine Sandu you are being summoned to the entrance by Prince Tye Ashton Yanin."

"Well, he didn't wait long to come and yell at me. Take him to the yellow sitting room please." I check myself. At least I'm sexy now. Not like a commoner anymore.

I go to the yellow sitting room and watch the fish. I hear the door open.

He leans on the back of a couch and watches the fish. "You can not do that. You almost got thrown on the ground. You could have been hurt."

"I wanted to have fun. You know what it's like to be stuck at royalty all the time. I wanted to play some games and dance. I seen the girls my age and we were having so much fun. They wanted to watch a parade. I didn't even know what that was."

"You need to inform the castle when you are there. Even if you only inform me. I will put a couple guards on you and tell them to be quiet, but you can not go alone like that. It's not safe at all."

I roll my eyes. "It's not my village. I'm not royalty there. I'm as common as the next person."

"No you're not. You are a princess everywhere you go. You don't get to stop being that. And people from your village were there. What if they spotted you? They could have tried to rip you apart."

"THEY WEREN'T GOING TO NOTICE ME. YOU DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE ME UNTIL YOU WALKED RIGHT UP TO ME AND I COULDN'T MOVE."

"ANYONE CAN RECOGNIZE YOU. YOU HAVE TO INFORM ME. IT IS NOT SAFE."

I start to cry. "I only wanted to have fun."

He rubs his eyes.

Tre comes in. "I heard you 2 yelling all the way down the hallway. What is going on?"

"I was informing her that we are having a festival for the next 3 days. You are all welcome to attend." He crosses his arms. "As long as we are informed of your visit when you arrive."

"Really that made you cry?"

I start sobbing. "I went to his village as a commoner and didn't tell anyone. I only wanted to have fun. I didn't do anything wrong. I promise. He came to yell at me for not telling anyone I was there."

Tre rubs his eyes. "You left here and went there as a commoner. You told no one at either village where you were going or where you were? Is this correct?"

I start sobbing even more. "I'm sorry." I wrap my arms around Tre's waist. "I wanted to have fun." I bury my head in his chest.

Tre rubs his eyes. Then he pushes me to standing. "That is not safe. We are friendly with them. But what if someone from another village was there and grabbed you? You have no idea the things they will do to you. Even in other villages, you have to be guarded. Or better yet, take an escort from here with you. But what would have happened if you were taken? No one from either of our villages would have known you were gone. Or had any idea where to search for you. You have got to notify their castle when you go there. AND NOTIFY US BEFORE YOU LEAVE. YOU HAVE ALREADY BEEN WARNED ABOUT THAT."

I cry and wipe my eyes. "I'm sorry. I wanted to have fun."

"WELL TELL ME HOW MUCH FUN YOU'LL BE HAVING WHEN SOME MAN TAKES YOU AND..."

The prince clears his throat.

Tre nods. "Promise me."

"I promise I will tell them when I go back if I'm alone."

He crosses his arms.

"I meant without an escort."

"Thora and Mary are not escorts."

"Fine."

Tre nods. "We are not done with this." He shakes the princes hand. "Thank you for making us aware of this. I will deal with my mate more later. But she will not return without informing your castle that she is there. And I do apologize for any issues it caused with her being there."

"She caused no issues. Just scared me when I saw her alone. I put a couple of guards on her to be safe. But I couldn't stay with her or take her with me. I was in the middle of a parade."

"Guards are good. At least she had that much." We get out of the sitting room and Tre shakes his hand again. "Thank you for the guards and making sure she returned safely."

"My pleasure sir." He shows himself out.

Tre hugs me. "You're ok. Why are you still crying?"

"I don't like being yelled at Tre."

He kisses my head. "You did good baby. Let's go to dinner. You're not in trouble."

"You're not mad? You acted mad."

"I'm not mad at all. Dipak was there with you somewhere. We knew you were going. It was all part of the plan to get something we could negotiate for."

"BUT you yelled at me."

"I only did that because he was standing there. I had to do something. He needed to believe it."

"I thought you were really mad."

He smiles and wraps his arm around me. "No one is mad baby."

We get to dinner and Momma watches me. "What's wrong my baby?"

"Tre and the prince yelled at me for 20 minutes. They were mad." I start sobbing again.

Tre nods. "I was informed our princess was at their village in disguise today. She didn't tell their castle she was there. Scared the prince when he seen her alone and dressed like a commoner. He put a couple of guards on her."

Daddy laughs. "I guess we can thank him for that while we're there negotiating for whatever it was she found that she wanted. Now we know why she was able to tell us she found it."

Dipak looks at Tre. "He actually told on her?"

"No. He made a cover story when I got there. She started crying and told on herself."

They both start laughing.

"Why did you send Tre? It didn't bother me, I just figured it would be Dipak since he was at the village with me."

"That i***t couldn't stop laughing."

Then everyone starts laughing.

Dipak kisses me on the head. "No way I could have stopped laughing to yell at you sweetheart. He used formal names and everything."

Dracul nods. "At least the boy had enough sense to put some guards on her and make sure she got home."

Thora looks at me still wiping tears away. She whispers. "Your eyes are getting dark again."

"It's Tre again. My body thinks he's mad at me."

Tre leans in and whispers. "You want me to stay with you so you have your hair stuff in the morning?"

I nod. I wonder if he'll let me rub oil all over his muscles.

We finish eating. I hear Tre tell Dipak that he will help me get ready in the morning.

Dipak puts his arms around me and whispers in my ear. "Relax and have fun. Don't let it stress you out sweetheart."

He gives me a kiss. "I love you sir."

"I love you too." I give him another kiss.

I need to relax. I grab a book and sit on the couch. Try to calm my nerves a bit.

I read for a bit and Tre comes in with some papers and clothes. "I need to finish these baby." He sits on the couch with me and starts writing.

I put my legs over his lap. I cross my ankles and read. It doesn't phase him at all. He lays the papers on my legs and keeps writing. His mom is right. He does get super focused.

After about 20 minutes, I feel him rubbing my thigh. I move my book. He is staring at my legs. His eyes are going dark quick. I smirk and go back to my book.

By the time I'm done with the chapter, he is running his fingertips up and down my leg. From the bottom of the skirt to the top of my foot. I stretch and enjoy it. "Thank you, I wanted to finish that chapter."

He takes my shoes off me. "Where you keep the oil for your feet baby?"

"Oh no. We can't go there sir." I move so I'm sitting beside him.

He puts his arm around me and laughs.

"Tre that day in Dipak's office. Did you feel a bond break?"

"Yes I did. Did you?"

"I felt like my heart was destroyed. Every bond I had snapped all at once. I can't tell you past that. Omar told me that me and Dipaks bond snapped violently and the recoil was crazy. But no one ever said anything about our bond. I figured maybe it was already gone by then. I didn't know."

"No, it wasn't gone. I felt it break. It hurt baby. I couldn't imagine more than even 1 breaking." He pulls me closer and kisses my head. "I tried to see you after that. I tried every day. Mary wouldn't let anyone in. I wanted to see you. I wanted to know that you were ok. But to be honest, I didn't deserve to even know that. She was right to keep everyone away.

"Then I came out mad and took the throne. That was a not so fun day for me."

"Yes, you were mad. Not that anyone blamed you. We weren't ready for that. You kicked us all out except Frode. Mary made us all advisors again in the hallway. It was a mess. How does Mary even have that much authority?"

I laugh. "She can do anything she wants for the safety of me. She's probably the most powerful person in this building. She follows no one's orders but mine. And she can overrule mine, if she feels it necessary for my safety."

"Wow."

"Yea, but she's just my servant."

He chuckles. "Damn exploiting servant."

I lay my head on his shoulder. "Are you ok? I know everything has been hell for you too. And I ignored you for so long."

He tightens his arm. "I'm ok now baby. This is what I need. Just this."

I put my legs over his and cross them. Then I wrap my arms around his waist and lay my head on his shoulder. "Well, you can have this whenever you want." I feel something else pull in my chest, and he picks me up and sits me on his lap.

He wraps me in his arms so tight. "Thank you baby."

He's got tears in his eyes. He's fighting them but they are there. He lays his head on mine and closes his eyes.

He opens them and I kiss him. "We should go to bed Tre."

He helps me take the dress and jewelry off. Then he strips down to his underwear and climbs in my bed. I climb in and half lay on him. I cuddle into him and relax. He is so warm. I do love lying with him. He rubs my back and I fall right to sleep.
