Candace's POV: Gavan and I went to bed, prepared to visit our captive mates the next day. We rose at the same time and dressed quickly in our normal attire, white clothes, and fled from the room. We made our way down and into the cells, where mother was sitting with incredible awareness as our mates, passed out cold, were sleeping in separate cells. She raised her head at our entrance and smiled, standing and leaving the room to give us privacy. She trusts us. Gavan and I looked at each other and nodded, going and sitting back to back so we could each see our mates until they woke up, then we would question them.
