We finally tracked grandmother down in the dining hall. She was excitedly shouting out orders to the helpers decorating the room for dinner tonight, when we will get to mark and join our mates with the pack. I could feel Gavan's excitement as we walked, he was ready to take over the pack. I could also feel Bianca's annoyance. She has a problem with being first, since she was the firstborn, and we get to be mated before she does. We weren't going to gloat about it, though, that would be cruel.
Well, we won't gloat now, but probably tomorrow.
"Grandmother." Gavan calls out, and she almost falls off the table she was standing on. Well, she did, but we ran up and caught her as she started to tumble. We set her on her feet and she smiles at us.
