"She will undergo several tests. We need to ensure the condition of her body," the doctor informed them.
"There's no problem with that, Doctor. Just ensure that Lily is in good shape," the woman answered.
When the doctor left the room, the woman turned to Amanda, who is now Lily.
"Are you feeling alright, honey? Do you feel anything wrong? Do you want something?" the woman asked.
Amanda looked at her. "You are Luna Gladys, the Luna of the Blue Moon Pack?" she clarified.
"Why are you asking me that, honey? Don't you remember me?" the woman asked, concerns evident in her eyes.
Amanda was confused by everything happening to her. She looked at her body and knew it wasn't her real one.
"Nothing. I need food. Please get me some food and water," Amanda ordered.
"Wait here, honey. I’ll get what you want," the woman answered before leaving the room.
"Layla, please talk to me!" Amanda called her wolf.
"Amanda," Amanda was surprised when someone responded to her.
"Who are you? Where is Layla?" she asked.
"Layla is now in Moon Paradise, Amanda, and I am your new wolf, Bulan," she replied.
"My new wolf? How is this possible!?" Amanda asked in confusion.
"Just listen, Amanda, and I will explain some details to you," Bulan answered.
"I’ve been searching for a host to come into your world. I’ve been looking for a host for a long time to fulfill our mission," she began.
"Mission? What mission? And why me?" Amanda asked, seeking answers.
"The werewolf race is in danger, Amanda. We, the Legendary Werewolves, are the ones who can save our race and even the Mortal World," she replied, leaving Amanda more confused.
"Because of your qualities as a Luna, I decided to bring you back. Since your body isn’t suitable right now, I placed your soul in a different body, which is Lily's body," she explained.
"What about Lily's soul? Where is it now?" Amanda asked further.
"Lily's soul is in Moon Paradise now, because of what happened to her," she replied.
"Can you explain more about your mission? Why is our race in danger?"
"I will explain it to you further. We don't have much time to talk. The important thing is that you are still alive, even if it's in a different body," she hurriedly said.
"Wait. I need clarity, Bulan!"
"No more time, Amanda. I used large of power to put your soul in an another body, so I need to rest."
"But, don't worry. Even though I’m resting to regain my strength, you have strength, speed, and sharp senses that are ten times greater than an ordinary werewolf," she informed her.
"Wait! Explain first what you're talking about!" Amanda demanded, but Bulan had already vanished.
Amanda sighed when she realized she could no longer call out to Bulan, nor was she getting any response. She was still confused about what had happened, but one thing she was certain of was that she had been reborn in another body!
Amanda stayed in the hospital for five more days. She embraced Lily's identity, for she had no choice but to accept everything that had happened.
"We'll prepare for a grand celebration, Gladys. Lily's survival is a miracle, given all that she went through," Alpha Bernard, Lily's father, announced.
"Inform all the Packs in the country about the upcoming Big Celebration, Eduardo!" Alpha Bernard instructed his Beta.
"Honey, you need to rest so you can regain your strength. Don’t think about all the things you used to do just yet," Luna Gladys ordered her daughter.
"No, Mom. I want to take some combat training. I’m fine now, and I assure you that nothing bad will happen to me," Lily answered, leaving Luna Gladys puzzled.
"Combat training?" Luna Gladys couldn’t believe what she heard from her daughter.
"Yes, Mom. Why?"
Luna Gladys looked at Lily. She noticed Lily’s sudden change ever since she woke up from the coma, but this time, she didn’t know what to think about what Lily had just said.
"You don’t know how to fight, Lily, so why would you want to take Combat Training?" Luna Gladys couldn't help but ask the question on her mind.
"Mom, everything changes. Because of what happened to me in the ambush, I need to learn to defend myself so that what happened to me won’t be repeated," Lily explained to Luna Gladys.
Luna Gladys looked at Alpha Bernard, "Aren’t you going to say anything, Bernard?" she asked him.
"You don’t need to do this, Lily. I’ll give you bodyguards for your safety," Alpha Bernard told his daughter.
"No, Dad. I need to learn how to fight. We don’t know what might happen next." Lily insisted.
"But you don’t know how to fight, Lily," Alpha Bernard reminded her.
Lily grinned, "So, I need to train, Dad. No matter what you say, I will train, Dad!" Lily insisted.
Alpha Bernard shook his head when he saw the determination in Lily's eyes. He knew he couldn’t stop Lily from doing what she wanted.
"Alright. If that’s what you want, I can’t do anything about it, Lily," Alpha Bernard finally gave in.
"But, Bernard!" Luna Gladys wanted to oppose Alpha Bernard’s decision.
"Mom. Don’t worry about me. I can handle myself. I’ll make sure I don’t get hurt," Lily reassured her.
The Blue Moon Pack became busy with the preparations for Lily’s upcoming celebration.
Meanwhile, Lily was busy with her combat training.
At first, Lily's body struggled to adjust to combat training. She wasn’t used to it, having spent most of her time inside the mansion and attending engagements required of her as the daughter of an Alpha.
The warriors of the Blue Moon Pack were shocked by how quickly Lily learned to fight. They saw nothing but Lily working hard to build her endurance. They were even more surprised when they realized Lily knew many fighting techniques, something they couldn’t explain.
Soon, Lily was able to defeat even the top warriors of the Blue Moon Pack in one-on-one combat.
"Honey!" Luna Gladys called out to Lily.
Lily stopped fighting a warrior when she heard Luna Gladys. She signaled the warrior to rest while she approached her mother.
"Why are you here, Mom?" she asked.
"The gowns you’ll wear at the celebration have arrived, Lily," she informed her.
"You need to try them on to make sure they fit perfectly for the event tomorrow," she added.
Lily smiled, "I’ll follow you, Mom. I’ll just take a bath first," she answered.
After trying on her gowns, Lily decided to visit her former charities when she was still Amanda.
When she arrived at the orphanage, everyone was staring at her.
"Good afternoon, Amelia," Lily greeted the Headmaster of the Orphanage as she entered the office.
"Good afternoon," Amelia responded hesitantly.
"I am sorry, but may I know who you are?" Amelia asked her.
Lily smiled. "I am Lily, Amelia. I’m here because I’ve heard a lot about this orphanage," Lily replied.
"I know the orphanage needs funds for the children currently staying here. I heard you have more than fifty children now, and you are looking for donations," Lily added.
"So, I am here to help your orphanage, Amelia," she said directly.
Amelia's eyes widened at Lily's words.
Lily noticed the gleam in Amelia's eyes after what she had said.
"Is this real?" Amelia couldn’t believe what Lily was saying.
Lily approached Amelia and hugged her tightly.
"Ever since Amanda passed, the children have been sad. We didn’t know if we could continue running the orphanage after her loss," Amelia said, her voice filled with sorrow.
"Don't worry, Amelia. With Amanda gone, I am here to carry on the work she did for the children," Lily assured her.
Amelia and Lily looked at each other. Amelia couldn’t understand why she saw Amanda in Lily—in her eyes and in her way of speaking.
"Where are the children, Amelia? I’d like to meet and spend time with them," Lily asked Amelia.
"Follow me, Lily, so you can meet the children," Amelia invited.
As Amelia watched Lily with the children, she smiled. The way Lily moved and the things she did for the children were the same as what Amanda used to do.
While Lily was busy talking and playing with the children, a visitor suddenly arrived.
"I'm happy to see you visit, Alpha Kai!" Amelia greeted.
Lily paused in what she was doing and turned around.
She saw Alpha Kai looking at her. His face was serious, and she felt something unusual in the way Alpha Kai looked at her.
Lily smiled at him. As they stared at each other, a plan began forming in Lily's mind.
Lily approached Alpha Kai, her sweet smile still on her face.
"You are Lily, the daughter of Alpha Bernard and Luna Gladys, right?" Alpha Kai asked, making sure.
"Hello, Alpha Kai!"
