"Nice to meet you," Matthew spoke sincerely, the girl blushed and lowered her head. “Thank you very much for helping me, losing more things would be a disaster” Matthew didn't understand what she meant, but Violet seemed to be very grateful to him. "I'm just glad to know that this blow," he pointed to his face, "it wasn't in vain. "I'm sorry, but he still looks handsome," Matthew let out a little laugh. - Sorry! Oh god, I didn't mean that. Oh my god shame. Matthew for the first time in a long time was enjoying the company of a woman and laughing with her, watching her spin, holding her head, and her face was very, very red. “Calm down, I don't mind admitting that you are beautiful” Violet stopped and looked at him with her mouth open. “Ehh, I... I, I have to go” He took a step back “thank you, again” Matthew tried to say something[DS1] , but she was already far away from him, she sighed with defeat, to the final and yes it was going to be true what her friend always said. I needed one woman, or several. Because the short time he had been with Violet he had felt very relaxed, he had laughed and had a good time. Okay, it had not been good, the blow on his face reminded him, but despite everything he had a good time, especially when he had her so close healing his wound. He walks to his company, which was not far away; he had to talk to Abbie and find out if that Violet was his Violet. Abbie's was referring to, not Matthew's because it's not his... Did he want it to be his? He shook his head to eliminate those absurd thoughts. He gave a nod as a salute to the security guard and called the elevator to go to Abbie's floor. He went down on the 8th floor and walked to her office, he knew that company right and the other way around, as a child because with his father he would look at the construction and spend hours there watching the architect draw the plans; every shortcut, secret corridor and quick exit from the place was learned. You could say that, of the 12 floors, he had explored them all, playing, doing damage and even working. He slept there a couple of times, he felt that place as his home. But that had been before. Now I felt a lot of stress just when entering the company, the atmosphere was not good and lately I was opening many vacancies to find a good team, like Abbie. He walked to her office, the door was open, and she was talking on the phone, walked in slowly and sat in the chair in front of the desk, Abbie   didn't realize he was there. “But what was it like?” she asked. “Handsome, very, very handsome, he is the most handsome man in the world, I swear to you. I don't know how to find it again, I think it flirted with me a little bit, I realized that I didn't talk to anyone but Jack a long time ago and I felt very weird, I was red, and I didn't know what to say, have a super embarrassing moment, really” Abbie let out a loud laugh, Matthew could not hear what the person on the other side of the cell phone was saying. “I can imagine seeing you all dumb and stuttering in front of a handsome man” “But it was horrible! You would have seen it, oh, God. If I really want to see it again, but I would also be very embarrassed” Abbie kept laughing and turned her chair a little, saw a presence in front of her, and hit a small jump. “Boss!”  Matthew looked at her without saying anything “Violet, I have to call you later” She hung up without letting her friend answer her. “Sorry boss, I didn't know you was there, don't think I'm being lazy at work, I was just taking a little break” “Don't give me explanations, Abbie there's no problem with that! “Okay, thank you” the slightest smile Abbie had on her face decayed. “Are you okay?”  asked with interest. Abbie shrugged. “Yes, well. More or less” What if I told him the truth? Maybe he could help  “The truth is that my best friend lost her job, I gave her resume to the head of human resources, she told me that she had liked her resume very much and that she would call her soon, I told my friend too soon and I excited her, in the end they never called her and she is still looking for a job” Matthew saw that statement as a great opportunity for him, so he could know if they were the same Violet. “That friend you're talking about, is she the nice one screaming on the phone?” Abbie bit her tongue. ¡Oh! Now they were not going to hire her in the Jones company because of that, she did not lie to the boss. "Yes, it's the same," Abbie was blushing as she nodded her head. “Well, you can show me the resume and I will see if it is a good option to make him a contract” “Really?” Abbie asked with bright eyes. “Of course, the faster the better” “In fact, I have the PDF of her resume, I'll show it to her if she wants” “Please” Abbie quickly opened her mail on the computer, Matthew nervously raised and lowered his leg on the site, he waited with all his strength that it was the same Violet, he needed to see her again. He didn't understand the reason and he didn't want to think about it much, he just needed to do it, period. There was no more. Abbie slammed her nails against the desk nervously, the mail did not want to cooperate and did not open, she looked sideways at her boss so that she is not to leave, it was very important that she saw her friend's resume. She applauded when the email opened, looked sideways at her boss, but he seemed not to have noticed, I look for her friend's email and wait for the PDF to load, once ready, she turned the screen and put it in front of Mr. Jones. "Here it is," Abbie broke the silence. He watched in slow motion as his boss moved his head in the direction of the screen and began to read the document without any expression on his face. Was that good, bad? What did it mean? Abbie was pounding his lips between his teeth while waiting for an answer, Matthew took minutes reading all that document, he did not understand why, it was short because he only had one place of work since Violet had only worked for the company that had fired her. Matthew was staring at the reference photo on the resume, he had no doubt, it was Violet, both his and Abbie's. Fate had lined them up or something, Abbie moved a little rough banging on the desk, Matthew came out of the trance he was in. "Sorry," Abbie apologized. Matthew then began to read the resume. Violet Miranda Grant 26 years old. Public accountant. He vaguely passed his eyes at the other information and looked at Abbie after a moment. "There's a problem," his boss suddenly said. Abbie felt the world fall apart again. “What's the problem? I know she doesn't have extensive experience in other companies, but she was there before she left college and if they hadn't made staff cuts she would surely still be there, she's very good at what she does, really, she helped mealot, she's smarter than me, I promise she'll be the best worker,  more than me, I assure you”.  “Calm, knowing that she is a woman who has a career and lasted many years working with the same company, I can believe that she is good at her job and knowing that she is your friend and that you put your hand to the fire for her, I would have no problem hiring he. >> But, if there is something very important that I must mention, it is that in your area there are no vacancies available” Abbie listened carefully, her boss was very available to hire her friend, in the end she had spent a lot of time reading the resume, Violet had told her that she was sending resumes for anything, if there was no vacancy in the accounting area her friend would accept whatever. “I am sure that she would accept any position that you offer her, in whatever it is will be the best, she is too perfectionist and proud to work halfway” “Call her again and tell her I'm waiting for her here today Matthew hoped that Abbie would not notice the desperation he had to see Violet again, he could summon the redhead for tomorrow, but no, he wanted everything fast and more if it meant having to see her once again. Violet was white as a piece of paper in front of the man in the bank, she heard her cell phone ring, but she completely ignored it, the news that that man was giving her was not good, in fact, it was quite the opposite. “Miss are you still listening to me?” the man asked cautiously, he could have any reaction and that was normal. Violet hid her face in her hands and began to cry. What had happened?    [DS1]
