Abbie spoke with the head of human resources of the Jones company, to leave with her the resume of her best friend, the lady promised that she would call Violet soon because she had liked her resume very much. Abbie immediately called Violet. “They're going to call you soon” She exclaimed with emotion. In the distance she saw how Andrés was watching her, but when he realized that she was looking at him, he almost ran out to the opposite direction, she sighed in frustration.   How did she expect to find love again if the only one who caught her attention ran away from her? “Hello, is there someone there?”  heard she say. She looked at the cell phone and Violet was still on the call. “Sorry, what were you saying?” “What if what you tell me is true?”  she asked slowly. “Of course! She said she would call you soon so keep your cell phone by your side, surely soon we will work in the same company”. Abbie called the elevator to go up to her floor, Violet was silent for a few seconds, seconds in which the elevator arrived, and her boss began to leave. “I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! IT'S THE BEST NEWS IN THIS DAMN WORLD, ABBIE, I LOVE YOU, YOU ARE THE BEST FRIEND IN THE WORLD” Matthew Jones stopped for a moment listening to the screaming of a certain person on Abbie's cell phone, the blonde was dead of shame moving the cell phone away from her ear. “Friend, I have to hang up” Violet kept screaming with happiness and although Abbie was happy for her, she hung up the call so as not to be embarrassed anymore. “Sorry boss, good morning.” "It's weird to imagine you with such a crazy friend when you're so serious," Abbie smiled a little. “I guess we complement each other” Matthew nodded to that answer, it was a good reason, and he felt the same thing happen to him with Andrew. “I must go to a meeting; would you like to go with me?” “Of course, boss, come on.” They left the building talking about the key points that Matthew wanted to mention in the meeting, Abbie brought him good ideas that he was mentally writing down while driving so as not to forget them. Had you already said they were a good team? It's that it was. If she wasn't married and if her best friend didn't feel something for her, she could definitely have opened the door of love, which had never been used. Violet washed the bathroom floor with a lot of emotion while singing songs from the 80's. Her face had a straight smile and having her hand on the dirty toilet didn't even scare her away. Her happiness was noticeable even in the pores, the week had passed well, she had to spend a little of his savings to pay the mechanic because in the end the damage if it seemed to be very serious and the arrangement was not cheap. It was promised that she would recover that money as soon as she started working because it was true that he lacked very, very little for the operation of his eyes. She let out a scream of rage when a YouTube ad interrupted her concert, hating them with all her soul. After consciously narrowing the bathroom floor and all the joints of this was satisfied with the result, the bathroom looked like another and even the tile shone, that had never happened. She then continued with the kitchen and degreased everything that was in it, today she was very happy and when she was happy that was what she did. Cleaning the whole house from floor to ceiling was her way of expressing happiness, weird, but she loved it. She answered some job offers in Freelance to translate several texts into his language, that was not easy, so she made a big offer, she was not going to give away the work and although that was my only one I had at the moment, I was not going to do it for free. She was not surprised when the client rejected her offer, he missed it, she offered a good job of translation, writing and grammar; She hoped that whoever was going to do that work cheaper would  do it right. She spent the rest of the day studying a little about accounting, it was always good to remember what she already knew, although she had to admit that it was that or remember the disaster that was his life at this time, so with obvious reasons he preferred to study. **** The days passed and passed, and Violet was nothing called from the Jones company, her illusions were on the floor trampled on, Abbie was very disappointed and like her boss, she no longer trusted those who worked with her. Why lie and delude in this way? She no longer knew how to look at her best friend after listening to her so excitedly, Violet did not blame her, she was not guilty of people saying what they wanted to hear and then not complying. The blonde went to complain to the head of human resources, she has alone ignored her. Abbie was sad because lately her best friend did not have good days, she was getting a place to live because the owner of the apartment had asked her to evict, Abbie lived with her parents and had no rooms to spare, but she had told Violet that while she got another apartment both could sleep in the same bed. Violet proud as she always was, refused. She didn't feel comfortable going to make Abbie's family uncomfortable, so she was now apart from getting a job and was also getting a home. Her cell phone started ringing in her purse, she stopped her walk to take out the cell phone and leaned against a wall, it was in the center of the city, it was not a pretty place, and you could tell it could be dangerous, but she ignored all that and answered the call because she could be someone for an interview and those calls she could not let go. “Good morning” “Good morning am I talking to Mrs. Violet Grant?” asked a man's voice. “it's me, who do I like to talk to?” asked cautiously. “Talk to Jose Ramirez of the central bank, we need your presence as soon as possible” Had she sent her resume to the central bank? Perhaps and yes, he no longer remembered which companies had his resume. “Yes, of course. I'm in half an hour there” “Thank you very much” The man hung up without saying anything else, Violet kept the cell phone back in her bag when she felt it being snatched from her hand, she saw in slow motion how a young man ran out. “My cell phone” she screams desperately running after the man. A man in a suit who was drinking coffee saw the whole scene, ran out without thinking after the young man. Matthew didn't know what he was doing, he was just running after a lapless guy who had stolen the cell phone of a girl who felt he was after him, how could a girl in a skirt and heels run at almost the same speed as him? He stretched out his hand and took the thief by the collar of his shirt, threw him to the floor and punched him. The thief didn't say anything. Violet arrived agitated, took her cell phone and kicked her in the bags of the man who was on the floor, the man in the suit grimaced in horror. That hurt even him. "Sir, thank you very much," said the woman staring at him. Matthew was with his mouth a little open, the young woman was redheaded, had several freckles on her face and very, very large green eyes, she was small, but her body had curves where they should be and he had to look at her twice more to admire her a little more. “N... no problem” Stuttering? Shame on it. Yes, his best friend was right to tell him that he would lose faculties with cute women if he did not date any. "I'm going to call the police," said the woman. "No, please don't," the thief asked, they both looked at him annoyedly. "Yes, yes," Matthew said, "let's see if that removes the rat from his face” Violet hid a laugh as she called the nearest police. Suddenly she saw how the thief kicked the man in the stomach, throwing him to the side of the road, Violet screamed frightened because just passed a motorcycle that thanks to the sky had good reflexes and stepped aside so as not to run over the man, Matthew hit his forehead against the ground and a small stone was stuck in his face,  the thief ran out and was already several meters away while Violet helped the man. “Damn!” Matthew exclaimed angrily. “Are you okay?” Violet asked shaking her hand, Matthew took her for education and felt a little snipe. "No," he replied dryly" now that damn guy ran away, and my face hurts a lot. The girl came a little close to him, looked at her from her height, she was very small and stood on the tips of her feet so she could see him more closely, her eyes were narrowed as if she could not see well and had to make a lot of effort. A small hand rested on her chest, Matthew was stunned, not moving at all as he looked at her intently. "Come on, sit down," looked at where they were. There was a small protruding on the wall of a façade, she made him sit there and began to rummage through his suitcase. I take out a small medicine cabinet. “I am not an expert, but I know basic first aid, plus it is nothing serious, just a small scrape and you may get a black eye, nothing serious” "Nothing serious," Matthew repeated skeptically. The woman took a cotton swab and put on some iodized soap. She ran it across the man's face gently and while his admiration for the man, black hair with a few gray hairs barely coming out, his eyebrows thick, his lips were pink and a little stuffed, he had a beard of a few days very well profiled. "I think that's okay," Matthew spoke as she stood still looking at her. "I'm sorry," he smiled. “It's okay, I'm Matt, by the way” “Violet” he narrowed his eyes, Violet? That name he had only heard once and hadn't forgotten, would it be the same? It couldn't be possible, could it?
