"I've fired my secretary," Matthew suddenly commented to Abbie as she waited for Violet to answer the call. “Again?” asked the blonde, last week she had just arrived new and she liked her very well. "I don't like the way they work," Matthew shrugged. It was strange for him, to act as if he were friends with Abbie, she liked him very, very well, so much so that he felt very comfortable telling things that he would only talk to Andrew, who by the way still did not speak to Abbie. “That's why I would like to have your friend as a secretary, as long as there is a vacancy in the accounting area, surely that will be very soon” “Oh, that's incredible. Although I must warn you that you may want to stay with Violet as a permanent secretary later” " I hope not only because I don't want her to lose her job, but, if she is able to scream on the phone as I have heard so many times, I am very sure that she will be a good secretary. Abbie let out a little laugh. "You'll see, yes," she sighed when Violet's cell phone sent her back to the mailbox. But where had he gotten into? A few minutes ago I was talking to her, Matthew saw the fear in Abbie's eyes. "I hope they haven't tried to steal his cell phone again," he said calmly. Abbie looked at him frowning in the dream. “How do you know that?” his boss turned pale from one moment to the next and began to stutter. “Well... It's just... I... hey” “Ah of course! You heard it when she was telling me, I think she would have to speak a little lower” Matthew breathed a sigh of relief. “Yes, I heard them talking, that's why I said that and... well” I end by saying before I talk about more. “Well, I really hope that nothing bad has happened to her, her life has been a disaster lately, thank God a man today helped her and so they did not rob her” “Did they help her?” he asked interested to know what they had talked about and if Violet had told him everything that had happened. “Yes, she said he was like an angel fallen from heaven apart from the one that he was very handsome” “Did your friend say that?” Matthew smiled inside. That woman was unknowingly turning her world upside down. “Yes, those were her words, you will already know her, she is not sorry to express what she thinks... Well, yes she is sorry but when she realizes it is too late” “ I think it's very good, that's what I need so that I can respond to all the people I don't want to talk to and if she yells at them, as I said earlier that I've already heard her, I think that job is going to be perfect.” “I'm going to try to call her again” Matthew nodded, about 10 or 15 minutes passed, and Violet still didn't answer the cell phone, Matthew was already very nervous, what if something bad had really happened to him? As she was about to stand up, Abbie breathed a sigh of relief. “BY GOD A WOMAN, WHERE HAD YOU GOTTEN INTO?”  he watched silently as Abbie stuck her cell phone to her ear. Jesus! What was I saying to him? “Breathe my friend, stop crying” when he heard that phrase Matthew got up scared. He untied the knot of his tie and took off the top of the suit so he could take a deep breath as he felt choked. “Quiet baby, take a deep breath and come to my work. Take a taxi that I pay you here, okay?” Abbie nodded as if Violet could see her. “Yes, yes, quiet friend, come here, in this place you will be safe” Abbie ended the call a few minutes later, Matthew immediately walked over. “What happened to you?”  he couldn't hide the anguish in his voice, Abbie didn't notice it. “Something very ugly” “Please tell me how to help her. Did they hurt him?” he asked with his hair on end. “No, physically it's okay, it's not up to me to talk about it, I'm going to go down, I'll probably arrive soon.” Abbie hid her blonde hair behind her ears. “ Come on, I feel slightly worried, I must admit” Abbie smiled fondly, he is a very good person. “No need, plus I think we can leave the meeting with Violet for another day, it's not right at the moment.” The blonde left the office leaving him behind, she was supposed to give them her space, so she sat in the seat where she was before and waited for both women to climb on. The taxi driver looked at her weird in the rearview mirror, Violet dried her tears with a handkerchief over and over and over again. The news the man at the bank had given her had left her devastated. His bank account had been blocked, but before that, someone who had no heart had taken all the money out of there. He had lost all his savings, the bank was washing his hands and they do not want to take care of Violet's big problem, because according to them, the actions in that way are due to the user doing something wrong in their accounts. Leave the card visible to more people. Say your personal password. Lend the card to someone else. Violet was outraged, she had never done that, she wasn't to blame for that bank's security system being s**t, she had made a big complaint with the bank supervisor, that had been a violation of her account's privacy rights and so they weren't going to stay. They promised that they would begin to investigate the truth of the case but that for the moment they could not do anything, and that was why he was crying because his life from one moment to the next was upside down, he cried with anger and helplessness, he did not have a weight to survive and he did not want to do what was hanging around in his mind. Sell your car Just at this moment the car was back in the workshop because the arrangement did not last long and again began with problems, now I did not have to pay the mechanic and neither to buy new glasses. Because Violet was a lump of salt with legs, she had sat on her glasses and broke in half, looked very bad and had severe headaches thanks to this. Now, no money, no glasses, no car. What else did he plan to take her life? When the taxi stopped in front of the Jones company, she sighed deeply, Abbie rushed to the driver's window and paid for the race. She got out of the car with a lot of embarrassment, her friend immediately received her in her arms. “My life is disgusting” “For the moment,” the blonde did not deny that Violet's life was a disgust making her cry a little more — but you are a strong and brave woman, the world does not stay big even  when you are so small, you are going to get out of it. >> The best soldiers are always given the most difficult tests, and you are the perfect sample of a great soldier. "I love you so much," Whisper Violet, "You're the best friend in the world. “I love you more, you know I'm never going to let you give up” “I know.” The friendship that both had was to admire, always giving each other support,  but speaking loudly when the situation required it, I do not know they deceived or lied, they spoke with the truth. "Now if you explain to me well what happened," said Abbie, passing an arm over Violet's shoulders. She began to tell her in as much detail as possible all day as they were on their way to Abbie's office, walking very slowly and even stopped at a water dispenser for Violet to drink a little and hydrate because after crying so much her body needed liquid urgently. They called the elevator while Violet took a sip of the glass of water, a deep sigh came out, just like those you produce when you cry for a long time and very loud and at the end you only get sighs, as if you were already empty inside. “I felt that I was in hell while that man told me that barbarity that had happened, but do you know what I was thinking?” Abbie shrugged. “What jack had stolen from you? What was all a joke?” Violet shook her head as she bit her lower lip. “ I was thinking about him.” “In whom?” The elevator was already coming to Abbie's floor. "In the angel, I wanted him to be by my side because then, nothing could hurt me, nothing could make me cry. He would have been there to protect me, I wanted him to be there. “Oh, my friend,  you're crazy!” "I know," the redhead laughed dryly— but that was all I thought about. "Don't go to fall in love with someone you only saw once," the blonde recommended. “ I know I shouldn't do it, and in this big city I'll never see him again. The elevator doors opened, Abbie came out first, saw how her boss was standing a few meters from the elevator, Violet was distracted looking at the floor well so she could put her foot well and not fall. His biggest fear was that his little foot would be trapped between the elevator and the floor, he breathed a sigh of relief and looked up. The world was paralyzed at that very instant, his green eyes met those eyes that seemed to absorb his whole small body. “Violet, I introduce you to my boss, the director and owner of the company, Matthew Jones.” Violet opened her mouth to say something,  but the words got stuck in her throat, Matt  took a step towards her. “ Much pleasure, it is a pleasure to meet you formally, I have heard a lot from you and also your screams” The redhead's cheeks acquired the same color of her hair, Abbie smiled amusedly looking at her. "I'm sorry," he said and congratulated himself on not stuttering, "A pleasure to meet you, I've also heard a lot from you. Abbie gestured to her to shut up and not say anything that would expose her to the boss. "Well, I didn't want to leave," I told Abbie, "I wanted to know how I was doing, I was very worried. Those words lovingly inflated Violet's heart. “I'm fine, thanks for worrying,  but it wasn't necessary.” "Okay," he replied seriously, he didn't want you to notice his heart pounding so fast. “ No sir, not yet.” Violet looked at them with interest, more at the man, she couldn't believe that he was the same one who had saved her, let alone that he was the owner and boss of the Jones company. “ Abbie has told me that you are looking for a job and I am sorry to have taken so long to respond, I have seen your resume and I am afraid to tell you that there are no vacancies for the accounting area, but  there is a vacancy.” “ Mr Jones, no matter what it is, I will gladly accept it. It's a blessing to at least have any kind of work.” “ I like your mentality, I could start tomorrow if you don't have anything pending.” “Nope! For me it's fine, tomorrow I start. “Perfect, tomorrow I wait for her at 7 am in my office, it's the top floor, I must go make one last layoff” Abbie tensed up a bit. " I'm going to fire the HR person, he's not doing his job well and because of him there are such incompetent employees. They both nodded without knowing what else to tell him, Matthew called the elevator and gave them a formal smile. “See you soon.” When the elevator doors closed, they both started screaming. “I'm going to work here!” she screamed excitedly. That man was a total Angel, no one could say otherwise, thanks to him and his friend he now had a job. “ Wait, what is my new job supposed to be?” "You'll be his secretary," Abbie said with emotion. “ From the boss? “ the blonde nodded with emotion. “But don't worry, he is very serious and you will not see him leave his office so you will have all the top floor practically to yourself.” “On the top floor is only him and his secretary?” “ Of course, that is to say that only the two of you will be up there, the view is spectacular, I swear. You're not going to get bored for a second” Violet nodded slowly, she wasn't going to despise that big job, only that her heart and brain just now were in a war. Will reason or heart win?
