Malachi’s POV
Having hunted down Mads and Max, they both were more than gracious with my humble apology, my explanation, and my revised offers of roles within the Pack. They both seemed excited to have definitive roles, and happy with the positions in which they had been put in.
I left them to it, they would still be working very closely with one another, and had gone off on a tangent about what they had planned and how they intended to achieve it. It was a conversation I would have to be party to at some point, but for now, I wasn’t required.
Dad had agreed to inform Erik and Daniel, his Beta, of the upcoming ceremony and training schedule. I didn’t need to worry about Daniel’s reaction to my choice in Beta. Daniel’s children, Lucy and Laura, were both 27 now, and so a few years old
