Family workout/incident

"Alpha Devin, let's have a training session together." Joey asked while bringing all their dishes to the sink.
"No!" Zobrina had called out.
Everyone looked over at her after she said that. "Why is that?" Joey asked her.
"Because of what happened last time we was here and y'all wanted to train."
"And what had happened last time?" Parker asked.
"Your nephew almost killed him." Zo had said.
"Oh, he did not." Joey had answered back at the same time his mother had answered.
"Oh, so he didn't flame on when you two got serious?"
"Dear, Devin can't handle his powers sometimes. Plus, if Joey did get hurt, Devin can heal him." Parker said. "He's done it to me. You don't know how many times he's burned me within the years."
"And I'm just finding this out now." Zo said as she swings her arms around a little.
"Eh, yeah." Parker said chuckling a little as he rubbed the back of his head. "Joey will be fine." He said then looked at us. "Have fun kiddos." He said as he went to another room with nana and his mate.
Joey, Javier, and I went out the back door and went to the training session area. There were a few people there, it was mostly the single warriors and guards. Until I saw the sisters of Damon and Stefan. Even being around them for the last ten so years they still freaking scare the crap out of me. I mean who wouldn't be scared of them they're huge; they're bigger than most of my warriors and guards.
That was another reason why I have them as Bailey's warriors/guards when I'm not around. She knows how to fight but she's not most of us. She just knows how to defend herself.
When we got to where I wanted to be at, everyone stopped what they were doing and gathered around and watched what we were doing. Joey of course wanted to be 1st so his brother let him. Javier stood to the side and watched us.
Joey, he's small but buff not like his brother where he's both huge and buff. Some of the ladies' love seeing him when he comes around even the "gladiator" sisters. I chuckle when I see how they're wooed over him. Like man just screw his brains out and get it over with.
"Are you sure you want to do this. There's time to back out." I said as I was taking off my shirt and flexing.
I had muscles, I wasn't as huge and buff as my big cousin, but I was bigger than Joey. But I also have all the powers and strength of all the animals in me that the goddess had given me and my mother. But my mother clearly knew how to handle them more than me, which I've been told I don't even know how many times over the years. But I still scare the rogues and the other shifters that come around.
"Yes, I am. So do your worst."
"Don't let your mother heard those words, little brother." Javier said chuckling.
"Shut up, and watch." Joey said, growling a little.
"Is my baby brother growling at his big alpha brother," Javier says with a gasp. "How rude."
Everyone laughed at what Javier had said. He was getting under Joey's skin. I don't know if it was supposed to help to fight me or he wanted Joey to fight him.
As I was watching them, Joey had charged after me and hit me. I was shocked that he landed a hit on me. Everyone gasped when they say that he hit me. I rubbed my jawline for a moment to rub out the pain that I was feeling there then looked at him.
"Nice hit." I said then swung a couple combination hits on Joey.
Some he blocked; some he had taken like a man. Everyone was please on what was going on.
"Is that all you got baby brother?!" Javier called out.
"How about you come join us and see what you got alpha brother."
"Gladly." Javier said as he took off his shirt and unzipped his leg pants on his pants to make them into shorts.
"Show off." Joey said at the same time the sisters made moaning sounds when you could see all Javiar's muscles; every single vein popping out his arms.
"Least I have stuff to show off, unlike you brother." Javiar had said once he gotten to the circle.
Everyone all gasped at that. I just shooked my head and got ready for anything, that was gonna come my way. We all stood there looking at one another until I said screw this and threw the 1st hit on both of them at the same time. I ran and done a superman punch on Joey, side kicked Javiar a few times in the sides, then landed one more hit on Joey before he went to grab me. But of course, he had missed and hit his brother instead of me. Javier was boiled pissed at that moment that he didn't see any of that coming his way. Usually, he's good at this but I don't know about today. He's off, for some reason.
Joey, for some hard reason done a move that we all been working on for weeks and done it perfectly. It was like some ninjas move that I saw on a movie. It was like doing a cartwheel but with no hands and kicking and landing a few hits on his brother. Right when he landed, I swiped his leg and made him fall on his ass hard. Giving that chance for Javier to upper cut me in the jar. When he done that, I grabbed his other arm and bent it behind his back making him go down on his knees. Joey kicked up on his legs, to get up and when he did, I rolled over Javier's back and kicked Joey in the head knocking him out, flat on his back. When I done that, Javier got up and grabbed me from behind and Supplex me over his huge body on my front side. Making me hit the ground really hard, where it left a small dent. Like a meteor had landed on the ground.
After that move, I was out for the count just like Joey was out. He was out cold like I was. Javier, stood up over us. I could hear him trying to catch his breath as much as me and Joey. The pack all clapped their hands at us. The sisters came over to us and rubbed their hands all over Javier. They all walked away from us like don't mind us, we'll be okay. Even though we wasn't okay.
The head trainer came over to me and Joey and squat down to our level to check on us. Then I heard him tell someone to get Joey to the pack hospital since he was out cold. Someone touched me, making me jerk my body from them.
"I'm fine. Just give me a moment."
"Are you sure alpha, that was a heavy throw/hit to the ground?"
"Yes," I said as I sat up. When I did, everything looked so fuzzy. My eyesight was still adjusting to the sun, from how long I had my eyes closes.
"Devin!" I heard someone yell my name. I knew who it was. Someone had called my mate, the luna. "Oh god baby, are you okay?"
"Yes," I growled, then stood up with shaky legs.
I went to take a step forward toward the pack house, I almost fell over. Someone had grabbed me and held me up.
"You two, take him up to our room. He needs to rest now." Bailey had ordered.
"Yes, luna."
"I said, I'm fine." I said as I saw darkness coming my way then felt myself give away.
“Devin!” I heard Bailey called to me but it was too late. I was a goner, for now.
What seemed like minutes maybe even hours, that I was out. It could’ve been more, all I knew. But it kinda felt nice resting for a change. I’ve been at it for days trying to get this Christmas dinner/family gathering together. Not just for the kids but for the family. I felt like since my parents dying and I’ve been missing for years that everything had fallen apart. Even when I came back and became alpha, then alpha king, then had my own children that everything had change. Not for the better good but still. I heard the stories that everything’s not the same anymore and I think I’ve tried my hardest to make it that way.
After what seemed hours, has been a few days. When I finally woke up, it was about a 5 days before Christmas. I was very behind on everything. I jerked up from the bed scaring the twins and Bailey.
Mary had jumped me by giving me a huge hug where Oliver stood up, trying not to cry. But I saw it in his eyes when I had Mary in my arms. I waved him over to me and he climbed in bed on the other side of me. Bailey stood there watching us, smiling that the twins still had their father with them.
“So, can anyone tell me the deeds.” I asked.
“Well we have about 5 days left til Christmas. You’ve been out for a few days. And the pack is doing just fine. Your uncle and his family are still here. Zo wanted to leave but Parker wouldn’t allow it until you were alerted. Javier and Joey have been stopping by the room every hour or two to check up on you. Javier feels bad for what he had done to you.” Bailey had said.
“You can send those two in, while you three leave us be. We have a dinner to have.”
“Speaking of that dinner, we still have that. It never gotten eaten.” Bailey mentioned. “I’ll have one of the cooks warm everything up and have the dinning room area set up.” She had said as she grabbed Mary’s hand and lead her towards the door.
Oliver looked at me for a second before getting off the bed to go out the door. He’s a tuff noddle but I know he’s holding everything in like his pops.
About 5 minutes later, my cousins came in. They were looking down at the floor when they got to me. I sat sideways in the bed like I was about to get up but stayed seated on the bed.
I told them to stop it that I am fine. That there was nothing to worry about even though there was but I didn’t want them to be alarmed. I didn’t want anyone to be alarmed. I was fine. I was more out of shape than anything since we really haven’t had any attacks since 10 years ago.
I told Javier that he done what he could to take a huge person out, even though he had hurt me and his baby brother.
Joey was telling me that his mother jumped Javier’s ass for what he did to him but uncle Parker was actually excited how things went. That lead to a huge argument with him and his mate. But the boys said that grandma straighten them out. They said that everyone’s been quiet waiting for me to wake up.
I nodded at them and hugged them out. Told them that everything was gonna be fine that we needed to move on.
