Ch.5 They're Divorced

963 Words
Shea was standing still on the balcony. Her gaze was fixed on a mountain that rose as if to pierce the sky. The beauty of Mount Etna looked like a painting from where Shea stood. It had been an hour since Marco had left. Shea's mind kept thinking about what Marco had said in the bathroom. After saying those words, the man kissed Shea again. When she stupidly kissed him back, Marco just smiled like he was scorned. Then he left. It made Shea curse herself for being lulled by the man's kiss. "I won't act like a fool a second time. You'll see. I'll pay you back for sure," Shea grumbled as he stared ahead of him as if Marco's shadow was there. Just as Shea was about to leave, she was stunned to see a black car enter the courtyard. The car was different from the one Marco had left in. Shea walked to the balcony railing just in time to see someone get out of the car. Shea's brow furrowed as she saw a woman get out of the car. The woman was wearing a red dress. Shea finally froze when her eyes met the woman's. She recognized her face, even though she had only seen it in photographs. "Sofia. Turns out she's still alive," Shea muttered in disbelief that the woman was still alive. Shea immediately turned her face away and walked away from the balcony when Sofia's eyes fell on her. "Is Marco out of his mind? Why did he bring me to the same house as his wife? What if Sofia finds out I'm here? She'll definitely accuse me of flirting with Marco." Shea didn't stop muttering to herself. She felt scared and nervous. She was afraid that Sofia was going to get angry and accuse her of taking Marco away from her. But in the midst of her anxiety, Shea was stunned when she remembered something. She smiled and snapped her fingers as a crazy idea popped into her head. Shea doesn't have to wait long. She goes into the room and searches for Sofia's clothes in the room's walk-in closet. Finding a pair of attractive and sexy looking underwear and a kimono dress, Shea smiles broadly. The dress was white. It had a cosmos flower pattern. Shea immediately put on the underwear and kimono without tying the straps, revealing her curves. Shea also wore a bold, fiery red lipstick and tied her hair up to reveal her slender neck. She also put a touch of lipstick on her upper chest and neck to make it look like Marco had kissed her. "She'll definitely get angry and kick me out if I look like this. Then I'll be free without the hassle of paying that jerk a million euros." Shea muttered, satisfied with her current appearance. Shea quickly left the wardrobe. She also pulled up the blankets and sheets to make her bed look messy. Once again, Shea laughed in satisfaction at her own behavior like a madwoman. After that, Shea stood on the balcony with her back to the room. Her kimono fluttered slightly. Her body was even more exposed. Shea cleared her throat a few times. She wanted the sound to be like a sigh. Shea sat up as she heard someone open the door. She turned around as Sofia's footsteps approached. Shea smiled broadly as she waited for Sofia to walk up to her, looking at the state of the bed. "Oh my God. I thought it was Marco," Shea said pretending to be surprised. Sofia turned her eyes to Shea and smiled. "You must be the one named Shea, right? I bought these churros for you. Marco called me and left these for you," Sofia said as she handed over a paper bag labeled Cafe. Shea froze at Sofia's words. The woman's reaction was beyond her expectations. In the end, Shea was trying even harder to make Sofia jealous of her. "Really? Oh, my God. Even though I told him not to buy food because I wanted to cook for him. Maybe he can't stand me because I'm too tired," Shea said, wiping her sweaty forehead. She was just doing her best. Even if she cursed herself in her heart. Sofia glanced back at the bed. "Last night you and Marco slept in this room?" Shea nodded her head. "Yes. We slept until morning. Uh, I mean, we had s*x all night until morning." "Oh yeah?" Shea got even more excited when she saw Sofia's expression change from before. The woman seemed to be annoyed. "Hmm, Marco didn't even give me an hour to rest. He hasn't even taken his hands off me all night." Sofia took a deep breath and let it out slowly. "Looks like you two are having a good time." "Sure we are." Shea smiled broadly, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear as if to hide the red mark on her neck. Sofia took a quick look and handed back the paper bag that Shea had not yet received. "I think you should have some breakfast first," Sofia said with a smile. Shea frowned. She had a doubtful look at the paper bag and accepted it. She was confused by Sofia's reaction, which did not seem jealous at all. "You ... aren't going to throw me out of this house?" Shea asked quietly. Her eyes were watchful. "You're Marco's girlfriend, which means you're also my guest," Sofia replied. "You're his wife. Aren't you jealous that your husband has another woman and invites her to live in the same house as you?" asked Shea in a tone of disbelief and disagreement with Sofia's previous words. Sofia smiled slightly and then took another deep breath. "We are divorced."
