Ch.1 Kidnapping
"Let me go!"
The girl did not stop struggling as her bound hands were forcefully pulled out of the car. Meanwhile, she was unable to see as a long black cloth tightly covered her eyes.
The two men dragging her arms didn't care as the girl continued to scream for release. They walked through the courtyard until they stopped in the front room of a house that stood firmly.
The girl's head turned, though she couldn't see the surroundings. Her screaming stopped when she heard footsteps approaching. She tried to listen to the sound.
It was silent. She didn't hear any sound coming from the mouths of the people around her. Until finally a very unfamiliar baritone voice came from the front, signaling that it was the owner of the person who had just approached her.
"You're two days late," he warned.
"I'm sorry. But I'm sure Mr. Torres won't be disappointed with this rose. Our boss gave it especially to Mr. Torres."
The girl's brow furrowed. She felt like she was being sold. Suddenly, her body shuddered at the thought.
The baritone-voiced man watched the girl closely. "Leave her here. You can go now." He said.
The girl nearly fell over as the two men forcibly released her hand. She reflexively looked back. She heard the sound of their footsteps moving away.
"Where are you going?! Let go of me, you bastards!"
She shouted into the room. But the man ignored her and took over, grabbing the girl's hands that were still tied behind her body.
"Who are you? Let go of me! I don't want to be here!" she screamed again as she was dragged away by the man who was the right hand of someone by the name of Mr. Torres.
Moments later, they were in a room. The girl was pushed until she fell onto the bed. As the man walked away, she struggled to sit up. She even jumped in surprise when the door closed with a bang.
The girl, whose name was Shea Finnegan, tried to walk to the door. Often she bumped into the table and sofa in the room. Finally, her body hit the wall of the door.
Shea turned around. She tried to open the door to the room. She grimaced at the pain in her wrists from the restraints being too tight.
"Open the door! Let me go!" Shea shouted. She was still standing with her back to the door, pounding on it with her hands. She even slammed her body against the wall of the door as she continued to scream.
After less than five minutes, Shea stopped. Her throat was already sore from almost two days of flailing around. She hadn't even had an appetite during her stay at the headquarters of the kidnappers who had sold her to the owner of this house.
Shea's body collapsed. She sat leaning against the door. She wanted to cry again for the misfortune that had befallen her. But her tears seemed to have dried up.

Alejandro walked across the room. He stopped at a tightly closed door and opened it. Immediately, from outside the room, he could hear the moaning of a man with two hands bound separately.
He approached a man who was playing with a crossbow. Alejandro stood behind the man. He was ready to fire his arrow at the bloodied man in front of them.
The athletic man, dressed in an all-black suit, grinned. His shot hit his prisoner in the stomach. While he waited for his men to remove the object from the captive's stomach, he took another arrow. Letting his blood flow out again, accompanied by the sound of moaning in pain.
"Has my rose arrived?" asked the man by the name of Marco Torres as he prepared to insert the umpteenth arrow.
"Yes. I took it to the usual room," Alejandro replied.
Marco shot the arrow straight into his enemy's right eye. It made him scream even louder. The prisoner's right cheek immediately ran with fresh blood. Marco took the remaining arrow and shot it into the left eye until it was certain that the man would be permanently blinded if Marco had the goodness to let him live.
Marco handed his black crossbow over to Alejandro. "You finish it. I want to see my rose." Marco said as he took a handkerchief to wipe his hands before leaving the room.
Alejandro and the other men bowed their heads briefly as Marco left the room. Marco's footsteps now went down the corridor to a room on the second floor.
He arrived at the door of the room on the second floor. Marco immediately opened the door. It was locked from the outside. Shea was almost knocked over by the sudden opening of the door.
Marco watched Shea in silence. He saw that Shea seemed confused and had difficulty standing up. Finally, Shea's body bumped into Marco's leg, startling her as she realized there was someone else in front of her.
"Let me go. Let me out of here," Shea begged. Her throat was already sore, so her voice was no longer screaming.
Marco helped her up. He went inside. He hadn't forgotten to close the door to the room. Shea reflexively stepped back to get some distance.
"I never let go of my rose like that," Marco informed her.
Shea was stunned when she realized that the voice of the man in front of her was different than before. She was immediately convinced that the man before her was the one who had bought her from the kidnappers.
"I was kidnapped! I didn't give myself up willingly to be sold by them."
Marco laughed softly, causing Shea's forehead to crease. She hated the way the stranger laughed in front of her. It was as if he was trivializing the misfortune that had befallen her.
"It doesn't concern me," Marco replied.
"Turns out you're just as evil as those damn kidnappers," Shea hissed, her body frozen. If only her blindfold had come off, she would have killed Marco with her piercing gaze.
"Your judgment is not important to me. Because what's important to me is your body," Marco said. He moved closer to Shea.
Shea's legs trembled as she walked backwards. She didn't want to end up being the object of desire for a man she didn't even know. Shea was surprised to find herself sitting on the edge of the bed. Her legs hit the bed.
Marco smiled. The girl's fear was clearly written on her face. Shea even leaned back slightly with the help of both hands as Marco was about to touch her chin.
"I already have a boyfriend. You will never be able to touch my body! My boyfriend will definitely come to beat you up, you bastard!"
"Really? Then I'll welcome your f*****g boyfriend," Marco replied still in a calm tone of voice.
Shea continued to shake her head. She tried to move Marco's hands away from her face. Finally, Marco's hands untied the ties that were covering Shea's eyes. In an instant, their eyes met each other.
