Cursed Alpha

“...this is the training spot, the entire field is all yours.” Principal Collins muttered. I crossed my hands behind me and stared at the field. “Is there anything you want, Alpha?” I shook my head. Why couldn’t I get that girl stare off my head? Why did she look at me that way? “Take me to your office,” I ordered. He uttered a word under his breath, I didn’t ask him what he said and followed him to his office. “Everyone is talking about your return. We heard there’s a ball for it and your mate will be chosen that night.” He opened the door of his office. I rolled my eyes and took a seat before he did. “Should I get you some water?” “Juice,” I replied. He bowed. “I have a daughter....” I raised my brows at him. He chuckled and lowered his head again. “I will get your juice.” I felt my wolf stir within me, he was probably awake. I felt him stretched and the claws came out of my hand even though I didn’t consent to that. ‘Kellan.’ Chad mind-linked me. ‘What is it?’ I snapped. ‘It’s important.’ ‘Speak.’ ‘We found someone that you can meet, and will tell us the reason why you can’t find your mate.’ He announced. ‘I am waiting outside your school with the car.’ ‘Who?’ ‘A woman, she’s a witch.’ I growled. ‘Witch are not allowed in the pack!’ I was fuming that he had to do that. ‘We had to do something, Kellan.’ My wolf snarled in my head. ‘We planned to go along with the mating ball.’ ‘I thought you wanted to find your mate? You said so yourself Kellan, that’s why I had to do this, you are....’ ‘Save it. I will be out in a minute.’ I ended the mind link and ruffled my hair. I stood up from the chair and bumped into Principal Collins. “Are you leaving? I brought the juice.” He showed me the juice. “Lemonade.” I shoved him aside. “I will be out.” My shoulders bumped into someone in the hallway, I was about to take the stairs downward. Her long hair covered her face, and her books fell. “Watch where you’re going.” I dusted the spot she touched with my hand off. She didn’t say anything. I scoffed, and ignored her, ambling out of the hallway. “We should go. I had to sneak her to the house without anyone noticing.” Chad muttered when I got to him. He opened the car door, and I entered. I cleared my throat. “Is she good?” “We would have to find out.” “I will kill her if she isn’t can you take the risk?” I asked. I watched him swallowed and ignited the car. He drove back home. “I left her in the study.” I glared at Chad. “That’s my father’s study.” “I didn’t know where else I could keep her, I’m sorry.” I shook my head at him and got out of the car, I walked towards the front door and opened it. “Can you get to it, I have some important thing to sort out,” I murmured when I got to the study, she stood up from the chair and bowed. She has a shawl around her neck and almost covers her face. “I have something for you, Alpha. I could smell something off you.” “What do you mean?” I huffed. I took a seat. “Have a seat,” I told her. “I can your eyes, and what lies behind them. That’s the reason you can’t find your mate.” “What?” I mumbled. I was getting curious and wanted to know what she saw, and what I should do else the Chief Elder would choose a mate for me. “You are strong and you have a strong wolf, I would say you were blessed by your god, and besides you must be a powerful mate someone bold, fearless, and a strong She wolf else you’ll fail.” She indicated and I listened to her. “How...” I sighed, my voice didn’t sound audible. “What do I need to know? There’s still something you’ve said to me.” “What is wrong with me? It seems my senses are blocked. I am an Alpha wolf, we have high senses and I should have found my mate sooner, I am already of age. We searched everywhere when I turned sixteen, and till I was eighteen we were searching for a mate but never found her.” “You can’t find your mate.” She blurted out. Her black eyes met mine, and I held her gaze. “Why? That’s the reason you were brought here, witches were never meant to step into the pack, I am sure you are aware of that and if you dare choose to lie to me. I will have your head for dinner.” I bared my fangs at her. She smiled. “I feel threatened Alpha. I know, it was a risk coming here but I chose to help and to end the enmity the werewolves have for the witches.” I snorted. “I will be of help, anytime you need me, Alpha.” She bowed. “Tell me the truth, why can’t I find my mate?” “You were cursed by the red moon. Alpha Kellan, you will never find your mate.” “What if I find my mate?” I asked seething. “You spent years searching for her, you would have found her if that was the case.” “So I am cursed?” “Yes,” “Then do it, take the curse off.” “I can’t.“ Fuck. This wasn’t what I wanted to hear. “Do you remember the night your parents were murdered? There was a red moon that night, dark, blood, oddly. Laid a curse on you, everyone has a reason they are chosen, there’s a reason you were chosen to bear the curse of the red moon.” The words that I wanted to speak were hanging in my throat like a lump, and I couldn’t take them out. I was cursed. I was f*****g the hell out of the b***h that I had brought home, shoving my c**k in between her ass cheek. Her hands were shaking on the table, and my hand gripped her hair and pulled it backward. Her back was arched as I slammed into her. I was buried in my thoughts and rammed deeper into her. Her painful moans filled the room, I was too occupied in my thoughts to notice, and I wasn’t letting go of her until I had my release. “...Kellan...” She moaned my name. I grabbed her neck and pushed her towards the bed, spread her legs apart, and forced my fingers into it. Yet, I couldn’t get those words off my head. I pulled my fingers away and growled. “Get out!” *** “...have you been listening to Isra, you seem lost.” The teacher in front of the whiteboard muttered. I was scribbling in my notebook. I didn’t pay any attention to her until she spoke. I thought she was speaking to me but it turned out, it was some girl. I looked over my shoulders and saw her seated beside the window at the last row in the class, her lips were broken, and her left cheek had a purplish mark. She nodded curtly and I looked away. “So, we are having a project presentation, and you must know, everyone has to participate...” Her eyes went to me. “....and I will be having your guys in the study group. You can work together, and present your works together. It’s gonna be in five groups, okay?” She clapped her hands. “It’s gonna be your CA okay and you don’t wanna lose 20 marks for this, and those who need scholarships to college, and scholarship student. Isra, you shouldn’t miss this, and make sure you do well on your presentation. Now, I’m gonna call the names of the groups and the members in it...” I didn’t know who was in the same group I was, but it was a group B. I picked up my bag to leave the class. I had no business with all of these. I packed my notebooks inside my bag and flung them across my shoulders. I felt a hand touch me from behind and twirled around, and my gaze fell on the grip with round sea blue eyes, it was the deepest blue eyes I had ever seen, and it got me frozen for a second. I was towering over the nerd, and she was about five feet two inches tall. I hadn’t been this close to her before. She smelled like a rose. She gave me a note. The note was that I was part of her study group. I blinked my eyes and averted my gaze when she saw me staring at her. “I am a coach...a wolf trainer. I don’t have time for this.” She took the note from my hand and wrote on it. She pushed it back at me. I read it. “Please.” She wrote. I gave in. She tried to smile but it was weak. She walked so fast, keeping a long distance between us. As if she didn’t want anyone to see us walking together, and it cracked me up a little. I mean who won’t want to be seen walking with me, Kellan Montgomery? She stopped in front of an empty class and pushed the door, the room was cleaned, and there were a few chairs and tables around. Three other persons were in the room, I guess they were part of the study group. I dropped my bag and decided to take a seat next to her. That seemed to annoy her, she frowned, and picked up her notebook, moved to the next seat. She looked like a cute little mouse. I chuckled and decided to steal a glance at her. Her head was down, and she wore glasses, she was scribbling something in her notebook. Fuck, why does it feel like my heart it’s itching? I stretched my hand and reached out to touch her face, and it made her flinched. Why did I do that? I cleared my throat and muttered. “Were you hit?” She eyed me suspiciously and moved further away from me. “What’s your name?” She pointed at the name tag on her shirt. Isra Weather “I will call you mouse.” I chuckled.
