“Ow,” I complained as I got out of bed. Alastair had woken me up a few minutes earlier, but I was too lazy to get up. My feet, legs, and back were killing me and I groaned as I made my way to the bathroom. Yesterday’s walk had been incredible, an experience I would never forget, but my body was definitely paying the price this morning. When I was done in the bathroom, I slowly made my way outside where Alastair was waiting for me.
“We have to be out by eleven,” he informed me, and I nodded. I didn’t want to leave this place, but I was also eager to get back home. I was dying to take a nice, hot, relaxing bubble bath. I sat down next to him and happily accepted the cup of coffee. “Do you have any plans for the rest of the day?” Alastair then asked.
