Alastair Simon had made sure to take quite a few stops, which I knew Jacob appreciated. I was enjoying myself so much that when we finally came to a clearing, I was beyond happy. Jacob immediately headed for one of the well-situated logs and sat down. This was a camping site and while it looked pretty old, I had a feeling it hadn’t been used in quite a while. “We’ll have lunch here,” Simon said. I knew that this was the end of our walk. After lunch, Simon would lead us down a different path to the jeep. I went over to help Simon unload his pack, and I wasn’t at all surprised to see everything he pulled out.
