I paced the living room as I waited for Jacob to come and pick me up. I was nervous, and I wasn’t even sure why. I had called Jack to find out more about this cooking class because while I enjoyed cooking with Jacob, I wasn’t sure how I felt about doing it in a classroom style. I heard the car approaching and I immediately tried to calm my nerves. I, of course, had been elated when Jacob had called me and asked me out. It made all of those fears disappear.
