Jacob “Please, Alastair…talk to me,” I begged. We were already running late, but we still had ten minutes before the actual class started. Jack had warned me that the couples usually spent a few minutes before the class chatting and getting to know one another. I had wanted us to take part in that, but this was far more important to me. “It’s nothing,” he said, and I scoffed angrily.
