I laughed holding my belly as I found Derrick's words amusing and unbelievable, “I should be responsible for you, shouldn’t that be my lines? Why are you saying this instead of me?” I asked with a raised brow and crossed arms.
“You…because..” he looked away as he was flustered and couldn’t bring himself to say the word.
“I can be responsible for you, but what would your girlfriend say? Besides, everyone already thinks we’re together so it’s normal to kiss.” I said casually and decided to play along.
He squinted his eyes as he looked at me without saying a word.
I huffed and continued to speak since he said nothing, “we’re adults, the kiss is nothing. I mean if you’re too worried about it, you can think that it never existed.” He frowned and looked disturbed.
