Chapter :- 19.

Jealous Erlik wanted to know what Zene and Micah wants to do in the lone place inside the forest, so he decided to follow them. While keeping his eye on them, he completely forgot that he came to the market with Sylvia, who still doesn't know Erlik left her side. And he doesn't know that he is going to get punished for leaving Sylvia alone without telling her. He followed them until they reached the area with flower trees. Hiding behind a bush, few feet away from them, Erlik kept his eye on them.

Zene was really happy to get her best friend back. Although she didn't tell him her truth, but still whenever he is around Zene becomes really happy. They still like to play together like childhood and through getting a short time of fun, Zene forgets all her sadness for a bit. Most of all, Micah is the only one who is matured enough to understand her feelings and consoles her whenever she needs it most.

Just like always, Micah and Zene went out of the palace to have some fun. At first Micah took her to the market, but Zene didn't know why. But when he took her to the market to gift her some ornaments, Zene became astonished.

“Why did you bring me here?” She asked Micah.

“Take whatever jewel you want. I want to gift you everything you need.” He said to her with a smile.

“But I already have them a lot, in my home. I don't need more.” She replied to him.

“But I thought you lost them. If you have your jewels, then why are you wearing flowers despite them?” He said getting shocked of Zene's answer.

“I just thought to change my look for a while. I'm liking flowers more than seashells.” She replied to him.

Zene couldn't tell Micah the truth because if he sees her mark, he would get suspicious about the devil. And if he catches the devil, Zene's truth will also get reveled. Now that Erlik and Zene made a deal together, they have to protect each others secrets to save their owns. That's why Zene answer all of Micah's questions in place of Erlik. He might doubt Erlik, but he would never doubt on his best friend Zene.

“Well, you're truly looking gorgeous in these flowers. If you don't want these ornaments, then will you give me the pleasure to adorn you with more beautiful flowers?” Micah proposed to her romantically but naïve Zene just laughed it off.

“It will be my pleasure sir knight.” She said grabbing his hand and taking him towards the part of the island, where most of the beautiful flowers bloom.

“Wow… It's been so long we came here. It's still so beautiful.” As they came to the spot, Micah was amazed to see one of their favorite spots. He came at this place with Zene a long time ago.

Micah saw mesmerizing flowers with heart filling fragrance bloomed all around them. And he also noticed that the most beautiful flowers are the ones that grew on the top of the trees. He knew what to do and how to get them. So without wasting any time, he quickly transformed into his angel form, revealing a beautiful and wide white wings, and flew up. Getting on the top of the trees, he started gathering all the beautiful flowers and showering them on Zene. It made Zene really happy as she kept laughing in joy and tried to catch those falling flowers.

After Micah was done and the ground below them was covered with flowers, he came down in front of Zene. She was holding an armful of flowers by that time.

“Aren't they pretty? I love this flowers so much.” She said to Micah in a chirpy voice.

“Turn around.” He instructed her making her eyebrows shrink in wonder.

“What?” She asked him to make sure what he wants.

“Turn around. Let me decorate your hair to make them more beautiful.” She smiled to hear Micah and turned around in an instance.

Micah picked up all the beautiful flowers and started decorating her hair with them. He also made a crown out of those flowers and put it up on her head making her look like a real queen. After he was finished, Zene turned around to show Micah, his masterpiece. And in an instance he fell in love for her glowing beauty. She was looking breathtaking as the white flowers on her black hair, was making her look more beautiful than she already was.

Not only Micah but the person who was hiding behind the bush, also fell in love with her glowing beauty. Erlik was amazed to see how a few flowers made Zene look even more beautiful than she already was. But in the next moment, he noticed something he never expected. Micah was looking at Zene without taking a blink. It seemed like he was taking a picture of her beauty with his bare eyes. Zene was also looking at Micah with a smiling face, waiting for any compliment from him. But instead Erlik noticed how he was leaning in towards her face to devour her sweet lips. Erlik knows what intentions that boy holds. So as Micah was about to kiss Zene, Erlik pushed the bush aside and came in front.

It angered Micah because he was waiting for this day since so many years. Finally, his hearts the biggest desire was about to fulfill when someone disturbed him. He immediately shifts into his angel form and turned towards the intruder. When he saw that he was none other than Erlik, he got more angry and roared out.

“I knew you are a spy. You are sent here to keep an eye on us. I'm not going to let you go out of here alive…

Before anyone can say anything, Micah flew up and jumped on Erlik to hit him. Erlik wasn't going to back off too, so he also joined the fight purposely. Ducking the punch from Micah, Erlik went behind him and kicked him in his back. Micah stumbled a few steps but caught his balance soon. Turning around he punched Erlik in his stomach, but Erlik took the chance and got hold on his neck. He tried to push Micah on the ground but instead Micah flew upwards, releasing himself from Erlik's hold. He flew behind him and kicked him in his knees, making Erlik fall on his knees. Micah was about to punch him in his ears but Erlik dodged it and moved his leg around in which Micah stumbled and fell down. Erlik quickly jumped up on him and was about to punch him, but he pushed Erlik down from him. Using the same technique, Micah got up on his body and was about to punch him but Erlik was strong enough to push him down and stand up on his feet. Micah also got up from the ground and again jumped on him to keep the fight going.

Zene was watching both of his male friends fight but couldn't think of anything about how to stop them. Both of them are really strong and experts in fighting, so it was really hard for that fight to come to an end. Zene knows if she doesn't step in between this fight, someone surely will get badly hurt. But how will she stop it?

“Please stop… Stop fighting..” she tried screaming for them to stop, but it didn't work as they were so busy on their own fight that they can't hear her voice.

She tried to call out for them to stop few more times, but none of it worked. Stepping in between them will mean only getting herself hurt, Zene knew it precisely. She knows she needs to think of something different and real soon. Then an idea came into her mind, and she decided to do it. Her powers are the only thing that can stop them at that moment. But she has to make sure none of them finds out she has powers. So she secretly used her ability to control the wind and put pressure on the tree next to those two crazy ones.

As a heavy wind blew on the top of the tree, a thick branch from it broke apart and fell right between them with a loud murmuring sound. They immediately stumbled behind to save themselves from getting crushed under the huge brunch and looked at each other in shock. The sudden fall of a tree branch really made them startled, mostly because they couldn't find the reason behind it.

“Would you two just stop and listen to me? Thanks to the almighty God, he stopped you before you killed each other. Now stop fighting before I come there and beat both of you unconscious right now.”

Zene tried to change their minds from the reason of the sudden blow of the wind, and it worked because in the next moment she noticed both of them looking behind and chuckling, hearing her words. Micah backed off and went to stand beside Zene, because he knew he made Zene angry by not listening to her.

“Hun… You don't need to beat us unconscious. I'm sure your one punch will kill us immediately.” He said mockingly to Zene, and she gave him a death glare. Micah surrender his arms up to save himself from Zene's anger.

“I think we should inform your father about this spy first.” Micah said to Zene, pointing his finger to Erlik. It made Erlik angry again as he was about to attack him again when Zene stopped them.

“Stop… Micah stop accusing him by someone he is not and listen to me before making any conclusions. Erlik is not a spy. I perfectly know who he is.” Zene's words scared Erlik for a bit, and he thought that she's about to tell him, his truth about being a devil.

“He's a human, and he's my friend. And I know exactly why he's here. He came here to pick up flowers like us. Sylvia orders him to pick flowers for her, now and then. I think he is here today for the same reason as always. Are you not?” Zene asked Erlik, making him startled for a moment.

He didn't think about a lie to feed them in case he gets caught. He was so determined to follow them that he never thought what troubles he might get himself into. But Zene gave him an example to lie for that moment, and he agreed to her.

“Yes. You are right. I came here to pick up flowers for Sylvia, but I found you two here. But your friend here, didn't give me a chance to explain and started attacking me.” He lied to them, but it didn't convince Micah as he kept staring at Erlik with doubtful eyes.

“See… I told you. If you like to fight so much, you can fight with our warriors instead of some innocent. It will be good for their training, and you would get satisfaction yourself. You completely ruined my happy mood.” Saying this, Zene started walking out of that place.

“Don't think this will stop me from keeping my eyes on you. I will track your every single step.” Micah said to Erlik before following Zene. It made Erlik angry at him more, and he made a growling sound from his mouth.

Zene was angry at Micah, but mostly she wanted to get out of that place to avoid the question about the sudden wind blow or tree breaking. But she knows that Micah will surely follow her behind.

“Hun… Stop. I'm sorry. I didn't know he is your friend. Please forgive me.” Zene stopped to hear that.

“It's not only because he is my friend. It's because you didn't give him a chance to explain before taking an action. This is not how we are. We don't just attack people, who we have a doubt on. You did a terrible thing today.” Zene said to him and started walking again.

“I know. I'm really sorry for that. I got angry from his sudden appearance. We were so happy till he stepped in between us. Can you please forget it now. I came to you after so long, and you want to show anger at me? Do you want me to leave again?” It stopped Zene again.

“No. I don't want you to leave. Promise that you won't do this same mistake again?” Zene said looking back at him.

“I promise.” Micah said making her happy again, and they hugged each other to fix the friendship between them.
