We continued to walk forward, my hand in his arm. From afar, I bet we looked like the perfect couple, from close, we knew we weren't.
The party downstairs lit the entire house in a graceful manner. The chandelier hung down, illuminating the place. Decorations of flowers, garlands and ribbons adorned the stairs and around the entire hall. The seats around were tied in a royal blue ribbon with a bouquet of flowers at the back. The tables had all kinds of bite sized snacks, and large bouquets in the middle. It was expensive, and I wondered how they had done this in the span of hours.
There was a classy bar to the side with all sorts of drinks, and a large buffet right next to it.
